Does anyone have any experiences about the Doom Trooper RPG? Any stories? Worth giving a shot? I have a soft spot for the setting, because my dad used to play the card game when I was a kid. And even though it's in large part a 40k and some other stuff ripoff, I think it had some cool elements and I love its aesthetics.
Also, I know it's pretty much dead, but is there any place where you can play the card game online? I liked how simplistic, and yet fun it was.
General Doom Trooper and Mutant Chronicles thread I guess, if anyone wants to talk about this old gem.
Eh, shameless self bump. One won't hurt

Secret Cow Level are actually working on a digital reboot of the doomtrooper cardgame. There's also a brand new edition of the Mutant Chronicles rpg by Modiphius Games. The old card game can't really be called dead either, there's been a die-hard and dedicated player community that's kept the torch burning with tournaments and fan produced sets for years since it officially "ended". Even the old wargame's been brought back by Prodos Games.
I'm headed to bed, if this thread's still alive I'll be happy to post more about it all.

It's kind of a mix of cyberpunk and grimdark sci-fi, limited to Solar System, with not!chaos and not!space marines thrown in. Other main factions are the big corporations, based on various Earth nations and ruling over different planets of our system. The setting might not exactly be the most original thing ever, but it has some neat ideas and really good designs. Pretty fun overall.
