Did someone say COCAINE?
>>

Redsid best sid. Mainly because Battlefield-Ballroom has so many uses it's hilarious. Especially when you use it to do battlefield -> bedroom.

Also the magic cocaine is pretty useful too.
>>
>>54268069
That implies that you ship yourself with real people that you DO know.
That's even creepier DESU.

It is done, but something something Captain Brutus something something IRC Mafia

It went through several revisions and the jumpmaker considered Home Improvement jump done, but it is in the WIP folder also.

Don't know about turning off all your powers, but downplaying or not advertising your full capabilities is a normal thing. Then someone coming along trying to bully you is in for a reality check if you don't bother to maintain the muggle act.

fuinjutsu is basically magical seal programming that lets you seal stuff in other stuff. So yeah, it's totally worth it.

I was hoping the title for this thread would be "Bancho's Waifu Is Shit Edition"

It's also the basis for all the cool items, like the various swords that can do things that make no sense for swords to do and the chakra armor and a variety of other things. Ok, so not all the cool things. Just the majority. Their are a couple of things that aren't seal based, like simple chakra conducting weapons and such.

Would a Don Quixote Servant work better as a Lancer, Rider or Berserker class, because I couldn't find anything legendary about the weapons he used. And I really want to fit in some memetic skills or NPs in to go with the impossible dream theme.

That is what I've always assumed. There's nothing else in setting to really explain it's porperties.
Although I wonder if Samehada was made somehow through fuuinjutsu? Given it's similarity to Jugo i wonder if some of his or his families flesh was used as a base along with fuuinjutsu to make it into a weapon, bonded with shark dna at some point?
Something to ponder.

>Hey bancho how was your trip?

The trip was all right, a lot of hard work lugging boxes and pulling and pushing carts, but it'sover $500 worth of fun for around $250 worth of labor. Also, my roommates insisted on keeping the fan on 24 seven so I was kind of Cold overnight and the air mattress was kind of short for me so I was aching all over but in the mornings I went to the hotel sauna and felt a lot better afterwards So it's worth it, got to meet up with some friends, I'm in a campaign that only runs at con games so my character finally completed phase one of his long-term plan.

No, that's fanon. It's unknown how the various pieces of enhanced gear are made. The story never goes into it. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if seals were involved, the ability to contain and restrain the flow of various forces would be very useful for making items like that. But the only items we have confirmation use seals are things like Sasori's missiles or the kote bracers in Boruto, that are clearly there to contain a projectile so it can be launched later.

I thought so too at first but the tale ends with Don turning back to sanity. It's also notable that while he is insane he isn't stupid but just too caught up in his dreams.

How about an Anti Ideals NP that erodes the values/locks down the magic or NP of his opponents to represent disillusionment? Or a low level pioneer of the stars ability to represent his drive?

So, effectively "enchanted" gear isn't confirmed as being made with the local method of "enchanting". Ok, so the author never outright stated it, but the thing is he never gave any other possibility either while showing only one thing in setting capable of getting the job done.
>>
>>54269010
I want to say he should have Luck EX.

If I'm remembering right, though I'm probably not, a theme of the novels was supposed to be that chivalry is dead, and Quixote even renounces his delusions on his deathbed. However, the story was so popular that it actually caused a resurgence in chivalry novels. So, from a certain point of view, Quixote believed so hard that he managed to defy the author and effect change in the real world. That seems to pretty well fit the "screw destiny" nature of the Luck stat, but it might fit better as a NP.

Again, I'm probably wrong about that happening though.
>>
>>54269010
>he isn't stupid

Two of the examples of ME EX are Spartacus and Penthesilea, so stupidity isn't a part of it. As for the idea of Pioneer of the Stars, I'm not sure that could work given the justification for it is "figure who became a turning point in human history."

I'm not sure how Francis Drake qualifies for it in that instance, but Nikola Tesla and Leonardo DaVinci are the only other ones with it. Are Pursuit of the Unknown or Ephemeral Dream available in the Supplement?

I get the feeling samehada might be a little different; all the other ones seem replicable with fuinjutsu but samehada being sentient might have been made out of something already alive; like the guy who made it went and beat up some legendary shark monster that could eat chakra and then used some sort of shenanigans to turn it into a chakra monster on a stick. Sort of like monster hunter smithing except the materials are still alive.
>>
>>54269150
I was planning on Lancer stats. High agility and endurance (he can take quite a beating, average others and poor luck. But his skills flip those bad stats around so long as he's in Don mode and crash his and everyone else's when in Alonso mode.

I just wanted something different to all the Item Creation Ex and knock off Gates of Babylon (seriously just use a teleporter or summoning magic) that also fit in with the meta of Jumpchain. One of the most iconic dreamers seemed perfect.

>>54269185
Point taken. I could see it as a berserker who's really really convinced he's a Lancer, though I still prefer Lancer class.
>>
>>54268782
He has an EX+++++++++ NP that gives him ultimate conceptual authority over killing windmills.
>>
>>54269239
... Can always just put points into ME and have Lancer class, to make it fit.

Way to not take personal responsibility for not noticing something right in front of you.
What, are you going to say that I mind controlled you over the internet to not see his post, a response to what yourself posted and you should have explicitly been looking out for.
Don't blame me for your failures, you projecting twit.

>>54269194
Maybe. There is still so much in the setting that doesn't make sense or has no apparent origin.
For example: Why are summons a thing in the first place? They couldn't have evolved naturally, right? I suppose there's plenty room in the setting for a giant shark monster to have been found and used as the base for Samehada. Actually, maybe it was a summon, like a boss of the shark summons beforehand? Soemthing to ponder.
>>
>>54269239
>GoB knockoffs
Speaking of which, does Gil's GoB only contain "real" things? It might be interesting if the two of them fight, but he can't use Quixote's NPs because they're actually just his delusions.
>>
>>54269259
That was a NP: giant slaying Lance. Anti unit/anti fortress. Treats fortifications add large enemies. Imagine kiritsugus demolition trick but with one dude running really hard into a wall.

>>54269267
We can take other class abilities to foot different classes? Ok. Should i throw in mental pollution (chivalry)?
>>
>>54269305
Far as I know, yeah, you just don't get a discount. How I got Item Creation as a Saber.

As for Mental Pollution, actually I'd say yeah. Might disrupt a bit of control with the Command Seal, but all in all would be thematic (and also help Quixote deal with enemy Caster mental-bullshit.)

>And I really want to fit in some memetic skills or NPs in to go with the impossible dream theme.
>>54269259
>EX+++++++++ NP that gives him ultimate conceptual authority over killing windmills.
Doesn't he already have a "Impossible Dream" Noble Phantasm?
That would already have "Windmills can be successfully tilted at" and "The world can be made better by tilting at windmills" as part of it's aspects. Hopefully metaphorically and not literally.

The ability to regularly encounter worthy windmills to tilt at could be another aspect of "Impossible Dream," or could be the lesser NP, "Man of La Mancha"
>>
>>54269191
Good for you and glad to hear it man, Hope Teeznecth gives you insight

yeah I'm pretty sure that the 40K Pantheon doesn't exist in this campaign ,the evil plan in question is gathering souls through passive sustainable ungodliness, and not dragging them to hell and torturing them , but rather allowing them to persist on in their present lives as ghosts in the mortal world.
the plan is as follows
1.become king
2.offer amnesty and protection for the evil races that always get run out of fantasy kingdoms and fugitives in exchange for citizenship and labor
3.Create new Gomorrah.
4.leverage liberal Immigration and business policies into labor/monetary and political capital
5.Outcompete/outlive the Societies of the rest of the enchanted Realms Thus spreading your ungodliness

see the big, flashy, quick evil plans send hundreds of Heroes to your doorstep. So I'm playing the long game

>>
>>54269530
Are we seriously getting people from Tumblr coming here? I heard a ways back someone being called out for it, but I thought it was just shitposting, or a one-off.
>>
>>54269132
No, he didn't show us, because fuinjutsu doesn't just arbitrarily alter reality. It's not rune magic, you can't slap down a string of seals and have it do effects for you. It contains things, and it releases them in controlled ways. That's it. There are lots of things you could do with that, but not everything. Furthermore, your assertion that it's the only way to enchant objects is wrong. We know that some materials just interact with chakra in unusual ways. Chakra-conductive metal, of course, but there's also the trees that chakra paper is made from. And the crystal necklace that interacts with Wood Release, that's not a seal. Probably there are plenty of "magic" items that are made just by taking advantage of interactions between exotic materials. But of course, that's just conjecture. All I know for certain is that we don't know how the majority of enhanced equipment is made, and the idea that it's all seals is an unsubstantiated claim. One that is rather implausible to me, since all the seals we've seen are on the outside of objects. We never see one that isn't immediately visible, even when that would be really useful like the seals on ROOT members' tongues. Even if you assume that the seals penetrate deeper, there appears to be some need for a surface-level anchor. We don't see any seals on the surface of a lot of special gear. We see it on many such items, yes, but there are enough that don't that it's clearly not universal.
>>
>>54269552
Let's hope not, anon. We've got enough to deal with without that hot mess dumped on our laps.

On the topic of shunning responsibility, I've been pushing off starting my new chain for a few months now after six consecutive attempts that I disowned within 3-6 jumps and I'm more or less ready to try again with what I've learned.

There's just one thing that's still being a massive albeit, self-inflicted roadblock is how I'm going to explain how the choices for each jump are made in-story. Whether they're done via hologram, on a sheet of paper, etc. or maybe not at all and let that be a purely meta thing.

Now, any sensible writer would just take the time to reflect and make these decisions for themselvesx, but considering that this has been a holdup for me for multiple weeks, I'm clearly not capable of that. To that end, I'm asking for advice, or at least inspiration. How exactly do you handle making cp purchases in-story, if at all? I'd rather not steal someone else' idea word for world, but regardless, this would be a big help for me.

>How exactly do you handle making cp purchases in-story, if at all?
Different people have differing approaches, but I think most do one of two ways, either you just instantly get the purchases explanation be damned or there's a narrative surrouding it. Most tend to the former for ease.

Me personally, I've started using the Universal Drawback Supplement, and I have my jumper be born into and grow up as their background. It gives plenty of opportunities to explain CP purchases, but isn't for everyone.
Even then though, some things just don't make sense for them to have come to you anyway then a benevolent diety (jump-chan) just plain giving them to you, and sometimes for things that are sensitive in the setting, you'd rather there be no background or papertrail for someone to follow or stumble over.

You've also got to ask yourself how much investment you really want to put into just the background and smoothing over the oddness of your cp purchases compared to how much you can use for the jump itself.

If it helps, there are perks that allow you to just give hand-wave explanations for where your Outside Context Powers come from that could help you along by minimising how important it is in setting.

Hope this helps. Happy jumping, anon.

Waifus!
Seriously, though. Since that is still a DC setting, anything of value in a DC setting should be available. Lantern Rings, Star-Rods, genetic samples of potent alien races. Oodles of suff.
Anyting unique to Teen Titans however, another anon will have to help with that. I'm only broadly familiar with DC and not specifically with Teen Titans.

>>54270070
Jumper is given a huge packet that resembles the worst nightmares of the US tax system, filled with legalese and forms and trap options. The jumper has roughly 24 hours to fill out this nightmare of paperwork that will grant him and his companions powers, and submit it for approval. The end result of this mess is what I (the writer) select from the actual jump document irl.
>>
>>54270070
I go with my choices happening unconsciously, since I've stopped writing the Benefactor as an actual character. Jumper just accepts the fact that he has no idea what the fuck is happening and enjoys the ride.
>>
>>54270070
I interpret it as there being sort of a swirly void place that I go to between jumps, where Jump-chan shows up and hands me a copy of the jump document. Then I check off what bits I want, usually while talking it over with her because I've come to consider her a friend by now, and then hand it over for her to make the necessary changes.
>>
>>54269897
Magicka can do that. The healing mines are pretty useful.
>>
>>54270070
The Cat appears right before we enter, and I'm vanished to... somewhere, in the interim. A pure white void with nothing but those two glowing eyes of orange and blue, and the air in front of me shimmering with the words and selections available. As I choose, images and demonstrations of what I've selected appear around me to properly educate me.

And sometimes, choices are made for me.
>>
>>54270070
My in story explanation is that my Jumper doesnt make the choice and the perks are part of the inJump backstory.

This is mostly to explain some of my ass-bawkwards decision making since I tend to focus on theme over optimization. If I or any other person were actually taking the Jumps there is no way some of the options Id take would even be considered.
>>
Is RealScience still being worked on?
>>
>>54270070
I don't have a Benefactor, my Warehouse is really some sort of vehicle that works by reincarnating me in different universes. I can program it on a computer screen to give my next incarnation a custom start alongside a "destiny matrix" that handles the years before the start of the Jump, perks and all that jazz. CP are an abstraction of what the computer is actually calculating.

Sometimes the odds become unworkable and that's where drawbacks come from: the machine is cutting corners to allow me to manifest in that next reality.
>>
>>54270070
The Writer of the Chain is independent of the Jumper, no emotional contexts bleed over.
>>
>>54270070
Myself and my benefactor don't have as much control over the chain as we'd like. To put it simply, she's 'all-powerful' but only within her own dimension. Jumping is done through establishing connections to other worlds using me as a proxy, and this has a side effect of giving me a 'piece' of the world within myself - powers, perks based off of elements or narrative, and so forth.

Thing is, worlds tend to react incredibly violently to having things 'taken' or 'reworked' into them. I've learned this the hard way, and that's where drawbacks come from.

So my Jumper has no real control of his build, effectively.

Jumpchan yanks the Jumper into some pocket dimension that always is different and hands him a few catalogs. Sometimes the catalogs have stuff on them to imply what jump it is, sometimes they are blank white but whatever gets picked is what jumper gets stuck with.
>>
>>54270796
Games can't really convey what's in the fluff. As the Dragonborn, I'd focus on your Thu'um. It can grant you the power to tear huge landmasses apart (see Morrowind and Solstheim)
>>
>>54270796
Hard to say, it's never really clear whether the hype that dragons get in ES lore is to be taken seriously. as you said, Alduin is more or less a regular dragon with a shit ton of health, despite supposedly being the incarnation of the end of time or whatever.

In general, most people in skyrim have a very small range of ways to actually hurt you. Unless you really go out of your way to pick unwinnable fights, you wont be dealing with any metaphysical or conceptual bullshit. As long as you can hold your own against dudes with blades, you should be fine.
>>
>>54270896
Just buy thuum without taking dragonborn then use it to rap battle people till the real dragonborn shows up then eat him for his powers.
>>
>>54270070
My benefactor runs a sort of perfect simulation of me that picks out perks and stuff, then gives that stuff to me and tosses me into the jump. She always explains it as not wanting to 'ruin the flow'.

What happens if you happen to achieve CHIM in Elder Scrolls?
Is it impossible due to fiat or an instant loss? Or does it only empower you in ES jumps due to the metaphysics?
Should I just fanwank
>>
>>54271047
If you put two dragonborn on a giant set of metaphysical scales, they'd balance out a daedra prince on the other side.
>>
>>54271047
Just more bullshit. I remember there was someone on here screaming about how you could not buy or use the thuum unless you were a dragonborn because the dragonborn is special like that, disregard that others can use it.

The dragonborn just is really important to the metaphysics of tes basically.
>>
>>54271061
It continued to work for my Jumper, but like Vivec and Talos he knows when to use it (i.e never even, even when his mortal body is at risk)
>>
>>54271061
Well one of two things happens.

1. You fail, if this happens you are retroactively written out of having existed.

2. You never change because you become so important reality will not allow you to change.
>>
>>54271061
Personally I just ignored the concept due the the metaphysics getting particularly weird in that case.

What the fuck is CHIM?
>>
>>54271178
It is what happens when you realize the world you are in is actually a video game series so you hack the console commands so hard reality goes crosseyed andyou become an elder god.

>>54271178
CHIM is like waking up from a lucid dream. Except you're waking up from reality. All of reality is actually a dream by a sleeping god. So when you realize you're a dream, you wake up. That's CHIM.

Yes. LadyNerevar and Kirkbride went and detailed what the penis of every single known breed of khajiit is like, from the housecat to the giant tiger to the furry to the monstergirl to the elf types. All of them.

Also reminder to people that like khajiit, at least two of the breeds are non-furry. One is monster girl level and the other looks like a regular old elf. Like a less creepy and more cat-acting bosmer without the weird heads or eyes. So ironically they're the most normal elves in the setting.

No the stars are left from the origin spirits (magna-gi) running away with magnus as mundas formed.

Originally there was the Et-ada, Original Spirits, there was shit before them but that isn't important right now. Anyway one of the Et-ada tricked the rest, that was Lorkhan btw. He made them create Mundas (the mortal realm with nirn and shit). 8 Et-ada created it and lost their physical forms, a large amount fled with magnus when they found out it was a trap. This created the stars, holes in reality that lead to Etherius.

The 8 that created Mundas tore Lorkhans heart out, it can be found in one of the games. It was also believed to be the cause of the Dwemmer vanishing. Anyway his body became Massa and Secunda. Now Lorhan isn't really dead, he actually helps other being CHIM and shit.

So the 8 beings that formed Mundas are the Aedra, or nine divines. A number who didn't help became the Daedric Princes. Aedra means our ancestors, Daedra means not our ancestors.

Some Magna-gi became Daedra, Miridia is the one I'm referring to here. Some Daedra just randomly formed, Sheogorath. And Talos is believed to have Mantled Lorhan.

Mantling is when you take over and become everything that a god is. This has occurred once before that is proven (sheogorath).

The lore is fucking insane honestly.

You're missing a few details. There were far more than 8 involved in making it, those are just the Aedra worshiped by the Empire. There are several more major ones, like Yffre. Uncountable spirits were involved in the creation of Mundus, and the Magne-Ge came about from some of the et'ada's reaction to it. Some of them chose or had to stay behind, and these are called Aedra. The rest decided to leave because fuck reality, and those are the Magne-Ge. Daedra is the term for spirits who had ZERO involvement in creating Mundus, but who later became interested in it and set up shop with imitations in Oblivion. However, you can apparently get cast out of Aetherius, which is why Miridia basically acts as a Daedra.

Also, the weakest et'ada who were involved in creation yet who were able to survive (those weaker than them died) became mortals. They are the ultimate ancestors of most sapient races in the setting. So all mortals are actually degenerated et'ada in meat shells.

What I wanna know is what happens if a dragonborn absorbs every single dragonsoul (except from Alduin) that is currently on Nirn. I mean are we looking at the start of a new Et-ada or will they just eventually rejoin with Akatosh.

Basically, the Aurbis is a large wheel. If you look at it from it's side. It's also called the tower though, because if you look at the aurbis from another angle (like it's laying flat), you get what looks like an | . CHIM happens if you can look upon the tower, which encompasses all of reality (mundus, aka the place everything happens in the games, sits in the center of the wheel) and not lose your sense of self. Apparently there's a hidden tower in there somewhere or some shit. Achieving CHIM let's you mess with reality and people think that equates to the players ability to open up the console and modding. Which it may, kirkbride is insane.

It might not even be too bad if you are one of the WoL, since you get 3 adventuring companions and your CP gives you the tools to, theoretically, claim victory. I mean, it won't be easy and you're going to struggle and suffer, but it's totally doable.

Take two conflicts or people, and present them as each being a '1' in '11'. Who/what is each 1? They are so similar that you could flip the 1's around and never know it. So only either one One can remain, or they must merge/add together to become 2. Basically, when two equal things are both vying for the same thing some highlander shit goes down and there can be only one... except someone has to be watching this go down, otherwise nothing happens. Vivec is the witness of the nerevarine (you) fighting dagoth ur.

Sheogorath/Jyggalag was an enantiomorph. He was Sheogorath but also Jyggalag, Chaos and Order, two sides of the same coin, equals no more important than the other., both fighting for control. They didn't merge though, the player took Sheogoraths place when he turned into Jyggalag and defeated him, effectively mantling Sheogorath.
>>
>>54272084
Enatiomorph is essentially the fusion of multiple beings by enactment of one of three metaphysical roles. King, Usurper, and Observer (also seen it called Vizier), also called the Warrior, Thief, and Mage after the astronomic signs. If three people pull of these roles, they fuse into one being on a higher level, whether they were willing or not. This is how Talos was formed through Tiber Septim and two other variously named Shezzarine god-heroes, and possibly more. For you see, there's nothing stopping one person/amalgamate from being part of multiple Enatiomorphs. You can do it endlessly, creating a larger and larger gestalt.

The first person to perform an Enatiomorph was actually Lorkhan. Part of the trick he played was to maneuver himself (Thief), Aka (King), and Magnus (Observer) into the three roles and thus fuse them on an upper metaphysical level. Yes, that's right, Lokhan, Aka, and Magnus are now ultimately the same being, through Lorkhan tricking the other two. This is why you don't get any weirdness from someone like Talos or the Dragonborn being both a Shezzarine and a Dragonborn. There's nothing weird about being a mantling/part of both Aka and Lorkhan because they're the same person.

>Breaking the Kalpic cycle
The Dragonborn in Skyrim does it, with some unwitting help from the long-gone Marukhati Selective. Basically, with Aka broken up into multiple shards, his world-eater aspect became its own being, Alduin. This already made it a lot harder to eat reality, because Alduin is much weaker and doesn't have other powers, and by killing Alduin or at least preventing him from doing his job, you stop him from destroying reality and creating a new Kalpa.

Funnily enough, in relation to your other goal, the Thalmor destablizing reality unwittingly also helps ensure the kaplic cycle is broken entirely, because when Nirn dies (along with the idiot Thalmor), there's no longer any possibility of consuming and remaking Mundus. Worth noting too, that Nirn dying doesn't destroy Mundus, and the people from Nirn go off to live first on Masser and Secunda, and then onward to all the other Aedra's god bodies.

Turning it off? Nope. Holding back from using powers that couldn't be explained in-setting? Absolutely. This is actually my default. It's not for drama, it's for avoiding attention.

That said, I'll use them if I feel I need to.

Why is the turning of kalpa something you want to prevent? I mean, it takes something like sixteen billion years for a kalpa to end, humanity is going to be extinct long before then. Or does kalpa mean something different on Nirn?
>>
>>54272640

Lorkhan probably would have. His whole goal was martyring himself so that someone might possibly achieve Amaranth some day.

Alduin gets more powerful by consuming more matter. His power and size grow with the more he eats. So no, stopping him stops him. There's no "When the time is right" here.

And yes this Kalpa is overdue. The Marukhati's actions retroactively split Aka into multiple shards (creating a stable timeloop), and thus retconned reality. In the present form of reality, Alduin was jealous of the biggest shard of Aka, Akatosh, for being seen as the main dragon god and being worshiped and beloved. And loathing of his own powers, he went off to Atmora to found his own civilization with the native Proto-Nords. He actually wasn't a tyrant, and was a good ruler, but later on things fell apart because he had a rule where you couldn't question the dragons. So when the Nords, Dragons, and Dragon-Priests first went to Tamriel, the Dragons, who were originally kept in line and forced to be just by Alduin, became corrupt and started abusing people with no oversight, same with the dragon priests. Eventually this lead to a rebellion, and when Alduin heard about it, uncaring of the reasons since they were breaking his laws, he went over there to destroy them. This is when Akatosh stepped in, giving Nords, creating the Dragonborn, (I don't remember if in the new lore this is when Kynereth stepped in and gave the nords in general the voice too, or if she did that earlier). So Alduin got his ass beat and that's when he went full triggered mode and abandoned his attempt at being a benevolent god-kin and decided he'd go back to destroying and eating things.

Misunderstanding.. sort of? CHIM is remaining yourself in the face of infinity, but mantling is you becoming someone else, and enantiomorph is kind of like the beginning of a new paradigm.
>>
>>54272574
Mantling and Enatiomorph do, but CHIM is actually the opposite of losing your sense of self, it's actually reinforcing your sense of self against all odds. And Mantling varies, at least, depending on the identity you're taking up. It only changes you if you're walking like someone unlike you in the first place.

Think of it like this. Strength is normally based on the physics of your body.
You have bones of density A, muscles of thickness B, combined durability C, and contracting ability D, attached to bones at attachment point E with cohesive strength F. Plugging this into the physics simulation engine give a lifting strength of X pounds.

Then you have superheroes who can have a strength magnitudes higher that the results of the calculations. Something that either replaces the normal strength calculation of adds an X factor to it.

Conceptual Appearance is a superpower that disregards normal appearance calculation, or adds an additional value that is applicable to everyone's "how attractive is this person" calculation

I legitimately can't see how that is different than some kind of brainwashing that would override someone's sense of aesthetics

>Lorkhan's idea was that reality would be an Arena, and it would force as many et'ada as possible into achieving a Walking Way and eventually Amaranth. The quick turn over is meant to stop stagnation.
So are people in Nirn way better at reaching enlightenment than people here on Earth, then? Because it takes so much longer for a Buddha to leave the cycle here.

>>54272813
Do they speak Sanskrit, though? I admit I've only played Skyrim, and even then only like a fifth of the way through the game because it's so bad, but all the names of Dunmer in that game used different phonemes than Sanskrit. I don't think the word "kalpa" would be part of their language.
>>
>>54272818
Imagine beauty as a formula:
Subjective Appearance = Beauty

Illusionary appearance changes do this:
(Subjective Appearance + Subjective shift) = Beauty

Conceptual Appearance changes ignore all of the above and simply apply "True" to Beauty.

>So are people in Nirn way better at reaching enlightenment than people here on Earth, then?
You only need to reach a walking way to get out of the cycle, and those don't take any time. There's also a method of 'leaping' that lets you jump between kalpas and avoid getting eaten without having achieved a walking way, but the guy who invented and taught people this, the Leaper Demon King, was cursed by the world-eater into becoming a mindless destroyer.

I get what you're trying to say but it conflicts with my understanding of those processes.

>>54272901
no that's not what I'm trying to say, what I'm trying to say is that different people have different ideas of what is aesthetically appealing, which are based on different and often entirely contradictory forms of visual aesthetic and that in order to function a " conceptual aesthetic" would have to be able to either change to match its viewers personal tastes or Or change the personal tastes of its viewers so that it was the most appealing one at all times. I was not trying to say that being appealing is brainwashing in and of itself
>>
>>54272867
You're being kind of autistic here. It's a fictional world. It's based in concepts found in some real religions/philosophies, but it's not the same.
>>
>>54272940
That's another way to say 'leaping'.
>>
>>54272867
It's easier to use the word Kalpa and explain it rather than invent a Dunmeri word that means 'kalpa', because then you have to explain two definitions.
>>
>>54272962
Or, and I am just throwing this out there, you could get a bit of the platonic ideal of beauty. Meaning you would be attractive no matter what.

Things can be beautiful without having a sexual attraction attached to them. I can find a painting or vase beautiful even if they do not fit my tastes.

I can find an insect to be beautiful without having any kind of attraction, and in fact having a revulsion, to insects.
>>
>>54272967
I get that, I'm just trying to understand how it's different, and if the ways it's different make it something worth stopping.

>>54272995
Yeah, but the average Elder Scrolls player isn't going to be familiar with obscure Hindu and Buddhist cosmological concepts anyway. They're not going to look at some word you made up and go "why not just call it a kalpa?".
>>

Nerevarine-as-Usurper, Dagoth Ur-as-king, Vivec-as-Observer.

>>
>>54273034
Look anon, the ultimate explanation for everything in TES lore is "Kirkbride is on drugs", because that's why.

>>54273051
I can see how a comparison can be drawn, but there's never any indication that the Nerevarine became part of an Enatiomorph and got absorbed into Vivec. There merely being a 'ruler', someone who overthrows him, and someone seeing it doesn't automatically make an enatiomorph take plcae. There's more to it.

And there's no reason to assume the Dragonborn went through one at all. It's not necessary to walk multiple Walking Ways.
>>
>>54272962
Nope. There are underlying brain structures that ensure that certain things are found beautiful to any human with a neurologically normall brain. Symmetry, for example. I know you don't like that, but that's probably because of the various neurological disorders that you've acknowledged you have. In a normal human brain, symmetry is read as a sign of good health and is therefore considered an attractive trait. You don't have to override the sense of aesthetics, you just have to take advantage of those things that underlie the sense of aesthetics. It's like how you don't have to hack a computer if you've got root access.

>>
>>54273131
The Dragonborn, just like every single one of the other protagonists, even the Nerevarine, is a Shezzarine, meaning they are unwittingly mantling Lorkhan. There's nothing to stop you from mantling multiple people at once if you walk like all of them. There's also the implication that the protagonists might all have achieved CHIM thanks to your 'it's a videogame' powers.

Ah, the old Runemaster + Artificer trick. 25% of full cost for making artifacts, then break them for 50% of their full cost. Using this trick you'd have an effective per-turn income of your Spellcasting Skill in mana just from using the trick.

The jumpmaker also doesn't seem to like the concept of gaining anything other than bought-with-cp fiat abilities from a jump.
>>
>>54273176
Space and Life both at Mastery so I can use Manifold Presence. Consider how many places a Jumper can be in at once when you start adding up magic boosters.

Also grabbed Time because I like it and being able to make accelerated time bubbles to cast big spells in, or jumping back in time a few seconds is a good safety net.
>>
>>54273311
Fortunately you can use out of jump perks to learn the spells, or make your own versions anyway.
>>
>>54273231
>particular set of skills when starting a game of Master of Magic that are hilariously game breaking
Not game breaking. takes 8 of 11 picks to use, and there is a magic channeling limit per turn based on your skill. It basically lets you gain mana instead of casting a spell. Or cast a spell that gathers magic.

Notice how the 'trick' is in the official strategy guide, and never got patched?
>>

>>54273188
Okay, someone trying to understand here. All Shezzarines automatically Mantle Lorkhan regardless of their intent and actions? What even happens if you mantle multiple deities? And why would you want to Mantle an existing one anyway, since you get subsumed?

Also, isn't Talos already Lorkhan?
>>
>>54273481
Think of it this way: You, the player, are Lorkhan. By loading the game, your character now acts like you would (you control the character's actions) thus bringing them into a state closer to yourself (they're mantling you-as-Lorkhan.)
>>
>>54273551
What about when I actively choose to act different in the game than myself?
>>
>>54273481
Nothing stops multiple people from mantling something.

Lorkahn is in the world, the world is his body and his soul, and Lorkhan was torn into pieces. Thus, anyone can mantle Lorkhan, and mantling Lorkhan doesn't absorb you into a single entity or them into you.

>>54273584

Chaos (2 Spellbooks)+
Nature (2 Spellbooks)+
Sorcery (1 Spellbooks)
Sometimes switching around which one has 1 spellbook.
Lets you learn the Common and Uncommon spells from every school except Death, and Rare spells from 3 schools from 3/5 of all schools. Great for trading spells with other wizards, and retrading those spells for even more spells. And finding a 3rd spellbook of a school unlocks its Very Rare spells. I've had many games where I knew the majority of all spells in the game.

My understanding of it is... Elder Scrolls is all fake. Like, in canon, everything you do and talk to, it's all a dream, a simulation, fake. Should any person in the dream realize that they are a dream, one of two things happen: either they vanish in a puff of logic, or they retain their sense of self despite knowing that they do not exist, and basically gain reality hacking powers because nothing matters, so fuck it, why the hell not do whatever you want? Fuck logic, and fuck the world!

Anyway, I personally ruled that I could not achieve CHIM, even if I knew how, because I am real. That's not like some meta commentary or anything (although it TOTALLY SHOULD BE), rather, I came as an entity outside the universe and therefore was not part of the dream, merely a visitor to it. Even with a background, to achieve CHIM would require me to effectively dump all my outside context powers and become entirely part of the dream, and gosh darn it, I'm just not willing to do that.

That was my ruling, anyway.

>>54272158
Super Saiyans are a biological thing, so... I dunno. I think they'd be inherently different mechanisms with slightly different qualities for each race. Like, Freeza has his Golden form, and I guess that would be like his version of Super Saiyan? But it's still kindof different from Super Saiyan.

You aren't too far off actually. In elder scrolls lore lorkhan figured immortal beings like gods couldn't go CHIM because they had always been 'infinite' so they didn't know the true pleasure of shedding limits but a mortal can do it because they are not infinite. A jumper might go either way really, they both truly understand mortality but at the same time they've kind of shed it.

I like to imagine the jumper on the precipice of CHIM, viewing the tower while going through a Space Odyssey style sequence, the falsities of reality and the truth of the dream flashing past them, they're almost there...

IIRC, my build was something like Death 4, Infernal Power, Alchemist, Archmage, Conjuror. I'd focus most of my early efforts on raiding ruins and fallen temples (spellbooks generated are Death books) before going for anything that wasn't necessary.

Master Yang from Generic Xanxia taught me cool tricks, like how to use different types of cultivation ki in stuff it was not intended for. His teaching style empathized more in wits and creative use of moves than actual raw power

This resulted in some interesting stuff happening the first time around. Like me accidentally launching myself in the air when I used wind cultivation instead of earth cultivation in a move.

Think Victorian Era England after an infrastructure collapse. Buildings are boarded up, lunatics and mobs wander the streets, corpses in the gutters, beasts hoisted up on burning crucifixes and all that shit going on. Outside of Yharnam (the main city), you'll mostly just find shanty towns or wilderness a few exceptions like Castle Cainhurst which is filled with ghosts and not!vampires and looks like the abandoned home of aristocrats.

Aside from the more obvious parts, there's also some really freaky shit here and there since it is a partial Lovecraft setting. Beyond the areas within the game, you can probably assume it looks mostly like Victorian Era Europe though.
>>
>>54274252
>Conjuror
Don't usually use conjurer, but did you know Mana free conjuring is possible in the schools of Chaos, Nature, or Sorcery?
Takes 15 picks, so you need to find 4 spellbooks or retorts after the game starts, and probably aggressive use of saves. 13 spellbooks of one of the above schools, the matching Mastery retort, and conjurer. the casting discounts add up to 100%. Spam Elementals or Phantoms in every battle, or stack after stack of on demand summoned monsters if you have an enchanted road network.

MoM is cool for all the amazingly cool de facto win conditions besides just the spell of magic if you can set them up. Like the summon spam above, or just having so much magic skill and mana income you can trivially Spell Blast away all any spell you dislike the turn before they cast it. or setting the entire world except you on fire, while terraforming your to be ultra productive.

>>

no, I'm just saying that the mixture of gray and black signifies that the setting is a somber one with little hope or happiness, relying upon negativity and violence for content.

All the undead creating methods in Death makes that color a particularly insidious threat if you manage your armies properly. There's also the minor benefit of Normal Units turned undead have zero upkeep, allowing you to amass vast armies and still turn a significant profit in gold and mana (from Dark Rituals+Infernal Power, as well as Alchemy).

And, if you can get a hero with armsmaster, you can bypass the whole "Undead don't gain experience" restriction.

Its based on the Thief series. Its a dark gothic fantasy.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thief_(series)
>>
>>54275482
It's based on a series of games, originally by Looking Glass Studios (also makers of System Shock).
Thief: The Dark Project, Thief II: The Metal Age, and Thief III: Deadly Shadows.

As for describing it, it's something of a Victorian era/Steampunk/clockwork/fantasy setting. In the games, you play as Garret, a thief who used to be an Acolyte to what amounts to the Illuminati of this world.
>>
>>54275527
It does, but hardly anything worth mentioning from what I've heard. Reddit used to but apparently it's become a 'ghost town' according to an anon from a few threads back.
Because of their failure to make for a good jumpchain communty there, they've migrated here.
We do not like their brand of shit, from what I've seen.
>>
>>54275482
It's not. It's just the name of a game series. It's about Garret, a thief in a rapidly-industrializing fantasy world, who gets caught between the forces of the old gods of nature's chaos and the new religion of mechanical order due to jobs gone wrong. It's pretty cool, they were kind of the original 3D stealth game. Took a very different approach to it than a lot of modern stealth games, much more focus on sound cues and as such a de-emphasis on moving fast from cover to cover. Running just makes your footsteps louder. It's the patient man's stealth game.
>>
>>54275562
I have heard that the redditside community is disliked. Can't figure out why, though; unlike with SB, where people extoll their flaws at great length, reddit seems to lack any specific complaints.

This is relevant to my interests, since that's where I've posted my chain.
>>
>>54275581
Killing is also discouraged (or outright fail condition, on higher difficulties) due to Garret being a thief, and not some random assassin.
>>
>>54275607

>>
>>54275622

>>
>>54275317
Isn't Thief 2014 it's own continuity?
>>
>>54275623
Yeah. Garret's absolute shit at fighting, too, even if you're on easy difficulty and can kill without penalty. Like, in MGS or Splinter Cell or Dishonored, a guard spotting you just means you shoot him with your silenced weapon and everything's fine. In Thief it means you fucking run for your life, because you probably can't actually kill him. And if you do it leaves blood everywhere that can give you away, even if no one finds the body after you dragged it into a shadowy corner. That's what the water arrows are for, mopping up blood.

Don't do it like that, with a random roll for time period. It sounds like the 1st three games can all occur in the space of 10 years? Start the jump at the beginning, and jumper will experience the first three unless he intentionally makes butterflies. Make locations rolls for places from the games. (Or just have everyone start someplace random and safe in the city, or do starting locations by background)
Starting 400 years in the past is a +0 Drawback toggle, or a different jump if you feel ambitious.
So no one gets sent to the game they didn't want instead of the one they did because of a bad roll, and so jumpers get maximum content by default.

>Age: 20+1d8 (100cp to choose within the limit)
Gender: Same as last jump (100cp to switch)
Drop these to 50 CP each or for both, not really worth 100 CP. Add a 50 option for choice of location if you have a location table. Mainly because there are stuff that don't really offer a benefit in later jumps.

>BACKGROUNDS
Could use a bit more detailed description about what choosing each background gets you. Not super important, but would be nice.

>100cp Sound Track
Also a candidate for being dropped to a 50 CP tchotchke due to mainly being a flavor thing.

A bit more elaboration of the setting and overarching backstory could be included in the jump opening. I never played Assassins Creed games, but that jump gave me a better since of what the hell is going on, to help figure out what Jumper would be doing in the setting.

But that is what updates are for, to point these things out and make jumps better.

At least the shitposting here can be easily ignored, and usually doesn't come from a position of morality (because it's fucking soccer, jim). The shitposters here usually just grab at petty, personal insults over design decisions in a jump and it's easy to ignore them. Becuase in the end, it's just a game.

Discourse blogs like to take complex topics and deal with them in a hamfisted manner and call you a horrible person for not agreeing with their hamfisted manner with said complex topics. Looking better.

Focus perk:
You use "use for at least" when you actually mean "use for at most"

Also, I do think Constantine's Sword should be in the list of items.
- The black sword is, by lore, magical. It's not supposed to draw attention while wielded. While the game doesn't demonstrate this ability, most likely to save on programming effort (since you're probably in a restricted area anyway and the guards want to kill you for that, you taffer.)
- It's demonstrably able to kill Apparitions (you don't encounter them before acquiring the sword, but the sword works). Normal swords are also demonstrably unable to do so (In Thief II, where you don't have the sword, you need to complete an exorcism.)

Given who gives it to Garrett in game, I'd place it firmly in the Trickster's camp for discounts.

>is there really anything anyone besides the two Zen-Ohs can do about it?
No, not really. The current power rankings go:
Zen-O>Powergap>Angels>Gods of Destruction>Powergap>Everyone else
There's also a lot of theories that are pretty interesting. Zen-O erased, I think it was, 4 universes some time in the past, but we haven't seen the angels from those worlds. The theory is that they're either off doing something sinister, or that they were erased and the rest of the angels are trying to get revenge.

It was stated that, if their god of destruction is killed, an angel will shut down until a new one appears for them to serve. It's possible that being erased doesn't count as death, and thus functions as a loophole that allows the angel to act freely.

There's another theory that the 4 universes that are sitting out the tournament are actually really weak in terms of power levels. Because they're nice, peaceful places to live, there's no point to getting stronger. Meaning that they'd be the universes least able to field a strong resistance.

>should you kill even indirectly a single living creature, your jump ends.
Couple things. One I would change to do killing someone has you die as well (or instead) so 1-Ups could mitigate this somewhat.
Two, not sure about indirect stuff, because that can get really subjective. Like court cases years later to determine if this guy killed this other guy or not due to knock on effects.
And if Doctor Who can arrange for the baddies to off themselves episode after episode and still count as pacifist, Jumper should also.

Or do you mean something else by indirect? Like no dropping anvils and saying gravity killed them?

Typhoid Mary was actually the opposite, contagious and perfectly fine herself. A clearer name or description might be better, Plague Victim or something maybe.

By that same reasoning, there's no reason to assume it IS related to power. We don't know what metric they're using, just that it apparently comes from the gods doing their job correctly. I think "make the universe a nice place" seems like a more reasonable goal for a god than "make everyone strong."

Goku did that, but Bergamo, Universe 9's head fighter, convinced Zen-Oh to remove the universe destroying rule if he won his match against Goku. Everyone knew about this deal, including Goku. >You're either strong, or you're irrelevant.
That's a bias from the universe with the second lowest mortal level, the gods from that world were incompetent.

The GoD spends the vast majority of his time napping, and when he does do his job he destroys worlds based more off his mood and how good their food is than whatever metric he should be using.

The Kaioshin is a complete newb who has no idea what he's doing and only has the position because every other being that could have done the job, or even helped him, was killed by a bubblegum demon.

Plus, you know, the aforementioned bubblegum demon and a genocidal space tyrant were rampaging for a good while. Neither of those could have been helping.

Jokes aside, I have no idea what a Triangle Heart jump/drawback would even be about. I've never even read it - I just know it EXISTS.

I'm not updating the jump for it, but you can probably get there manually with some form of local timeline hopping (I don't think the local dimensional travel would work because I think there's only one Earth in the TSAB's own methods) you can probably go there. Or just fanwank your chain to happen on that version. Or do a weird crossover.

Basically, Nanoha's family are from a samurai clan and they worked as bodyguards and such. All of them except Nanoha's dad, mom, and aunt are dead because of a terrorist attack. The timeline difference occurs when Nanoha's father suffers an accident while on the job. In Triangle Hear, he dies, and in Nanoha, he lives. That's basically the only difference we know of for sure, even the samurai stuff might be canon. Hell, both of her older siblings are STILL badass samurai swordsmen in Nanoha land. Anyway, Nanoha is a side character in this. It focuses on her sister and brother as they guard their friend who is a rich, vampire songstress, and having to deal with assassins and such. Also romance and fucking between those three. Nothing even stops this from being canon since it would've happened a year before Nanoha starts.

Sword Art Online is a game. You happen to be playing it. Bullying jumpmakers worked in enough cases that it encouraged that behavior way back when. I've only recently reconnected with the community and don't know if that's still the case.

Like a note at the end letting you import an existing item into a piece of CP gear, giving it that items qualities and a alt-form of that item.

Importing your favored outfit into the Hammerite Uniform so it never gets dirty and gains a Hammerite Alt-form look, or a Weapon into Constantine's sword for the overlooking it being drawn effect and a black sword alt-form.

Will you be adding a Canon Companion option, or a "Or gain a new companion" clause to the Thief Crew option?

The argument is that the setting isn't special, and you don't get to decide that the concept of jumpchain works differently because you say so.

I think a better way to fix the problem would have just been to start you out in the real world, before everyone gets trapped in the game. That way, people can just do what they want and they have no one to blame except themselves for their perks not working. Besides, everyone who wants to make a difference would have just killed themselves right away, tanked the radiation, and tried to stop things from the outside.

Anon, my point was that we don't know if there's incest or not. They might STILL be fucking. Nothing says that Nanoha isn't still part of a samurai clan. Nothing says that her siblings didn't go play bodyguard for a vampire for a year and are fucking behind closed doors while Nanoha's off being a magical girl. The only thing we know is different in Nanoha is that her dad is alive.

The Aincrad part of SAO only lasts about 2 years in canon. You might have problems if you claim to have dropped into the game directly.

A little while yet. First is Automata (2-3 days? if I can stay steady, which I probably can't.), then finishing off collabs with Rose, then Nier One, then Vampire Counts, then either Fate GO or Dies Irae, depending on which is closest by then. So still a while. Shaping up to be pretty gigantic despite there only being 3 origins.

Jumpers take magic into worlds without magic. Breaking rules of reality is kind of what Jumpers do, even accidentally.

Maybe, yeah. There are ways around that, but if you went to the wrong jumps beforehand...

Question, did time faster in the game than in real life? If you were going to lock everyone inside at once, doing the equivalent of overclocking a CPU, but to someones brain would be a plausible thing to do so they could be in there for years and not be atrophied husks when someone finally beat the game.
And would explain why jacking out incorrectly suddenly could fry your brain meats better than "I build a death ray into each headset, lol."

In that case 10 in game years would count, no matter how little time passed outside.

>>

Well, the reasoning behind "not taking powers in" is that it's not you in the system, you're laying on a bed with a helmet on.
While that approach works for flashy physical world powers, it does disregard some other powers (especially technology related) that would work just fine either way.

You could apply the same sort of logic to Jumpchain, friendo.
Most people that are aware of our little corner of salt and insanity either have no opinion or outright hate us.
Choosing to like or dislike something based on other people's opinions is fucking dumb as hell.
Try having your own opinions on things for once, anon.
That said, I don't particularly care for Bayformers. Not because of the ebonics, or the explosions, or the dumb plot or shitty characters.
I don't like Bayformers because the audio always seems weirdly mixed to me. The sound effects and explosions are loud as hell, and the talking is super quiet during action scenes.

Sorry, gotta stick to my schedule. ...what schedule I have. Erm. Take solace in the fact that they're both going to be some of my biggest jumps to date? (Or at least Grand Order will be around the size of Majikoi, if not bigger. DI might be more Fate Zero sized)

At the very least I'm generally trying to focus on my public stuff so it shouldn't take too long. And I even only intend to claim one more thing later on! I like to think that's quite restrained of me.

Eeeeeeeh, that's still a ways off. I mean, it is 3 whole fair sized jumps and it's only an update so there's less pressure to try and get it done. Maybe once I've got some of the collabs done, since they take up sooo much time and thinking room.

So I came up with my Servant build:

Servant Don Quixote AKA Alonso Quixano
The Last Knight/The Man of La Mancha
Lawful Good
Classes
Lancer 300
Stats
Strength B, Endurance C, Agility A, Mana D, Luck E
Skills
Mental Pollution (Chivalry) C (Free)
Mental interference magecraft may be rendered ineffective. If speaking with chivalric knights or honourable warriors, there is no misunderstandings.
Battle Continuation A (Free, discounted, 100)
Don Quixote will not give up while there is strength left in his body.
Windmill Slayer C Anti-Fortress (150)
Treats fortifications, buildings or bounded fields as opponents vulnerable to Anti-unit skills.

cont field too long
>>
>>54278582
Well, D&D's magic can be used by the soulless.
Some other magic systems don't specify that they need it (spend mana in particular way, get effect.) - Nanoha could be counted here, possibly.

In fact, I can only think of a few offhand that outright require a soul - Warhammer, Nasuverse (Magic circuits are as much on the soul as the body)...

Noble Phantasms
Reality Marble: Impossible Dream – To Reach the Unreachable Star EX (600) Anti-World
A reality marble that imposes the dream of chivalry onto the world, rendering “that is impossible” to “it can be attained”. Creates a bounded field full of rolling plains and ruins, similar to medieval Spain. Servant Lancer cannot be killed until Impossible Dream is sealed or interrupted. Marble decreases when Servant is defeated in battle or when tenets of Chivalry are ridiculed (See Knight of Mirrors). The Servants True Name is especially dangerous risk.
Greatly increases physical parameters except for Mana while active. Increases physical parameters of allies up to a certain rank, so long as they act in accordance with Code of Chivalry (Sancho). Allows for return from death once per activation to a lowered physical state (Alonso).
The Man of La Mancha C (Free)
Allows improvisational use of mundane arms, armour and steeds as if Noble Phantasm rank D. See Eternal Arms Mastery.
Knight of Mirrors A (250) (Does not feel like using this skill discount -100) Anti-Army
Sealed by Impossible Dream under normal circumstances. Drops all ranks by 2 and seals use of Noble Phantasms until Impossible Dream reactivates. Mana and Mystery recovery greatly reduced until sealing. (Optional: designates the sealer of Impossible Dream as Knight of Mirrors, must be slain before Impossible Dream reactivates).
Final Total: 600+150+150+100+300 = 1300
What Spiritual Form -50
Mana Muncher -100
Final costs: 500+150 = 650CP Demiservant
True purchase reasons: to have knightly fun and get another RM, with the conceptual powers of possible victory or defeat.
Taken in Fate/Zero with the Fool Tree and drawbacks Knightly Manner, Does Anybody Follow the Rules, A Contradictory Life.

So I think it's okay. Any comments? I got an idea for a different build.

And the other build:

Alonso Alter
The Knight of Mirrors
Chaotic Evil
Berserker 300
Alter Template 150
Strength A+, Endurance B, Agility C, Mana C, Luck E
Mad Enhancement EX (Discounted, Free C Rank, 400)
Mental Pollution (Chivalry) C (Class Skill, Free E Rank, 50)
Noble Phantasm: End of a Dream - I Have Attained All in My Reach A+ (300)
Generates Crit Stars. Applies Defence Down and Attack Down debuffs to opponents. Applies Crit Chance Up to servant.
The Man of La Mancha C (150)
Allows improvisational use of mundane arms, armour and steeds as if Noble Phantasm rank D. See Eternal Arms Mastery.
What Spiritual Form -50
Migraines D -100
300+150+400+50+300+150-50-100 = 1200SP

One who exists to destroy dreams and goals. Who burns books of law and chivalry. There is no higher ideal. All there is is all there is.
>>
>>54278767
I heard that was only achievable with new game+ mode.
>>
>>54270280
Really late replay but...

Control Freak's remote and the rest of his tech is really cool since it can animate inanimate objects and send people into TV shows.

There's a gem that enhances Tamaranean powers that Blackfire had.

Raven probably has some interesting magic books you could borrow.

And the Red-X suit will be sitting in the tower for a while between the time Robin stops using it and when someone else steals it.
>>
>>54278847
Nah, it's just a lot easier in new game+ mode because you get more opportunities to go down that path there. You can definitely do it on your first try, but you'll might need a walkthrough for it, since the chances can be easily missed if you're not careful, and once you miss too many you won't be able to get the ending.
