Most of the field has been pretty bland for WotR, the most vibrant characters to me were Leofric and Cyrielle. I think those two probably also have the most compelling possibilities for character interaction as well, personally. Frederick, Seraphina, Ruhiel and Bethany are also fairly interesting characters. I think everyone here is reading Frostbite wrong.
It's a buff spell, you aren't casting frostbite at an enemy, you cast it on yourself and then make melee touch attacks afterward.
At no point does this particular spell need held, and while it does technically qualify for Spellstrike, you don't want to be buffing your enemies.

As to who killed your wife and fucked your dog, Technic League. As much as I'd love to play as a member of the Technic League, they are one of the major antagonists in Iron Gods, and it says so right in the Player's Guide. There's even a Campaign Trait regarding having a hateboner.

That you feel that something has to be "fun" or "quirky" as part of your character shows that you don't even understand RPG:s to begin with.

I've played addicts, admittedly not in Pathfinder, and it worked fine, and the only thing they did care about was the next fix, at least until they'd gotten it.

But let's also not pretend like there's not any high-functioning addicts in society. There's tons of alcoholics that manage their alcoholism, even when it's ever-present and when it continuously fuck up their lives, and I know of a moderately successful car salesman that does cocaine daily.

Not every addict is a heroin addict living out of a crack house, supporting their habit by selling their ass. But just to be clear, I've played that last one, too.
