If my character is basically him (say a year before events of LotR), how should I roleplay him?
thanks

Reserved but confident. Has trouble fitting into human culture due to a feeling of guilt due to being associated with his fathers name. Isn't ashamed of it just knows what it means. Doesn't use his real name very often. Then again this is from just watching the movies.

If you do not know a character well enough to answer this yourself, why do you want to roleplay that character?

Nicely nutshelled.

While both of these are true, I'm not certain there's a causal relationship.
He also has an affinity for elves, possibly because he too resists the aging affects of time.
I think he was about 75 during LOTR. Might be wrong there.

Often /tg/ greatly improves and expands my initial ideas. That is why I ask.

Fair enough.

Well, that and he was literally raised by elves.
