Ok, so this is where I give you an uncomfortable truth: /tg/ is not the bastion of creativity we once pretended it was. And beyond that, the eternal controversy surrounding 5e and D&D just kills any kind of homebrew for it on here. Even more so there's a massive stigma against using homebrew in the /tg/ 5e community. I honestly wish it were different.
All in all, you want an actual community for developing 5e spells, classes, and subclasses? /r/UnearthedArcana blows every other community out of the water in sheer content that's been generated, AND percentage of that content that's actually good. I highly recommend the Sprawling Chaos supplement.
