Is there a downside to putting my mind and soul into a massive crystal held within my inner world? I mean nothing can really reach it without my ok as far as I know so my body is basically just a meat puppet at this point.
>>
>>54231450
Isn't your inner world part of your soul?
>>
>>54231450
How do you make sure that the Crystal is polished?
Will you hire attendants to polish you?

I imagine the drug in setting would take the form of a pill or consumable liquid, maybe an injection at a stretch. The setting really dosn't seem to have the tech to make proper hyperdermic needles, but there are ways around that, like Sea Urchin spines if you are really careful. Although I haven't heard much good about their reliability.
If you wanted to aerosolize it, I suppose there's no reason to stop you, just remmeber however that for it to work a person has to consume a full dose. Given how aerosolizing, unless it is sprayed right in a person's face, is going to have a lot of the cheimcial going somewhere else, you may need to aerosolize multiple doses in order to have sufficent concentration in the cloud to effect even one person.
If you have anymore questions, please, send them my way and I'll help as much as I can.

>>
>>54231474
Well you can go to your inner world from infernals, I have been building up a biggass compressed crystal of chi/ki/mana/spirit energy for a couple thousand years now in there so I was thinking of moving my vitals into it.

>>
>>54231450
>I'd there a downside to putting your soul inside of your soul
Seems kinda like dividing by zero.
>>
>>54231510
Technically the high-powered Xianxia settings let you do that. All the CP purchases help you and make it possible/easier to achieve but don't actually give you the power itself, you still need to work hard on it. Maybe that's why I like the genre so much, come to think of it.
>>
>>54231537
Seemed more like sealing it off to be unreachable to most people to me, then again you could be right.
>>
>>54231513
I know what it's from. I'm saying that moving your soul into your soul makes no sense.
>>
>>54231545
Pretty sure that won't make your soul any more unreachable then it already is.

Also keep in mind that turning yourself inside out might be a possibility and that's what happened to Malfeas.
>>
>>54231211
There are several options for this in Death Note, Overlord (both the series and the games), one of the Fire Emblem jumps, Boku no Hero Academia, Overwatch, Batman: the Animated series, Code Geass.

There are several more out there, but I can't remember them right now.

>>54231474
Technically is inside of your soul. So it's fun toying with the idea of using perks like the one in Soul Eater to put your soul inside a structure inside the of it. You know, hiding your soul inside of your soul.
>>
>>54231450
Make sure to hide the whole thing inside a duck's egg inside a hare inside a chest under an oak on an island in the middle of the ocean.
>>
>>54231566
You're saying it like it is a bad thing on itself. Also, Malfeas world-body is not the same as having an Inner World.

>Me

Demon's Souls! I didn't really know how to deal with the big lug at the bottom of the world permanently, nor what to do about Allant. So in the end I just put some enchanted yellow tape around it's lair, and built a song tower in there with a looped recording of the Maiden's lullaby to keep it sleepy. As for Allant, he kept breaking out of all the dungeons I locked him in so in a panic I just locked him in a closet somewhere. Someone, somewhen, is going to come home looking for a spare pare of underwear only to find an XL-sized mad king.

All because I hadn't put my affairs in order properly, before skipping town with Yuria.

>everyone else

To this day, the inhabitents of Van Helsing!Transylvania have yet to solve the curious plague of spontaneous horse explosion that occured when I was challenging Dracula to a medieval drag race.

>>54231450
>>54231513
I reckon you should do it the other way around-why not reforge the big crystal into a massive divine construct like the Maidens' barque, or sorcerously hook it up Realm Defence Grid-style to your inner world?

You could have a shiny crystal moon sailing the skies of your soul! Very ergonomic interior design. Oh, and probably retain most of it's functions of course.

>>54231510
Um, a bunch of times? You may have to be more specific.

>>54231506
The same way I deal with fathers and uncles: They generally don't get involved in my true calling, so I'm content to play the dutiful, inexplicably successful but otherwise totally normal son until it's time to say goodbye. While forging wonders in the space between spaces or performing grand experiments on society itself-and skipping school. I'm not as proud as I used to be of being so distant, but I just know they'd never understand me.

It's when my mother/aunt is someone like Jubileus/Gaia (the Elder Goddess, NOT the traitor) that I make a genuine effort to balance family activities and my career.

What is that?

Also I have a tenchi muyo tree goddess sitting in there with the power to draw on the bigass crystal already. She is in charge of keeping cabbits safe.

Some kind of ultimate, proto-typical Lightsaber Crystal? Perhaps something that can literally slice someones negative emotions away, and thus severing what connects them to the Dark Side? Khorne is esaily the second nicest, though. He used to have an honor code about not fighting civilians or the helpless, but later editions retconned that to prioritising worthier opponents for quality of bloodshed.

So what happens if I use something in place of a lightsaber crystal that is not just a normal crystal? What if I used like elemental crystals from final fantasy, they seem to come in all sizes and have weird magic effects.
>>
>>54232911
Nurgle's hands down, but his gifts aren't exactly positive. The easiest to turn their gifts towards benevolent goals is probably Tzeentch since he doesn't particularly care what you do with your knowledge and daemon magic because it's ALL PART OF HIS KEIKAKU. And then Khorne because he's fine so long as you're slaughtering worthy opponents. Doesn't really matter who they are, so you could kill those who deserve it.

>>54232911
Eh, it depends on your style, really. And who do you want them to be nice to.

Papa Nurgle will probably be the one to cares the most for you, He will turn you into an immortal daemon no matter what, after all. Even if you lose your mind, and you become immune to all kinds of disease because you have them all and are the carrier of some super-magical ones and immune to pain because most of your organs have been rot and your body only functions due to Warp magic.

But the other gods can also be 'nice' to their followers and champions. Slaanesh is pain as much as he/she is pleasure. Khorne will give you cool stuff and will provide battlefields for you to drown in enemies, and he can recognize a good fighter.

And Tzeentch is nice until he stabs you in the back, and then does it again. And again. And again. But until your moment to get fucked comes, he gives a great deal of things and protection.

Also, both Khorne and Slaanesh have created unkilleable champions without them becoming daemon princes, if they like you enough. So, basically of them can be kind of nice in a pretty twisted way to their followers.

They just give you what is in their nature. Coming to a god of murder and knives to the face expecting to been given friendly hugs and basked of fruits is not what people would usually expect. Bone-crushing hugs that break through armor and basket of grenades on the other hand is more likely to happen.

>>54232994
The only concept of 'deserving' than Khorne can understand is someone capable of holding a weapon. So, his followers won't kill the weak and sick, but just because it's not worth their time. They probably will have the cultist slaving them anyway.

>>54232970
I guess whatever happens when you put a laser through that crystals. Maybe nothing, maybe you get a magical beam of light or maybe the crystal explodes.
>>
>>54232970
So what are the opposing elements here? Does Lightning oppose Ice? What's the logic there?
>>
>>54233345
Precision and Definition is way too strong when it applies to every supernatural power you have. That sort of thing should be 600. If it's just Force stuff then it could work as a 200.
>>
>>54233415
Actually, I'd say even with just Force powers, that'd be better then the 400 perk for that origin.
>>

Fairly sure you just mean they can still hang around even if they're not taking up a companion slot but even still, you probably want to reword this free import thing.

Also why does the Canon Character option give them CP to spend? That doesn't really make any sense, especially since it results in Canon Characters with loads of stuff that makes no sense for them to have.

Also, a lot of the capstone boosters read as being insanely overpowered. Some reduce the efforts of enemies against you to miniscule fractions (Planet wide invasions reduced to a couple of miles) or make foes that are normally way stronger then you only be a tiny bit beyond you.

A lot of them make no sense either, like the one that retroactively alters the past to help you.

I think you need to relook at the capstone boosters and make sure they're more balanced with each other and fit better, since right now they feel a bit shoved in and some are way better than others.

Okay, here's the next update for A Brother's Price.
I'm going to be really busy this week, so it may be next weekend before another update comes along, still any feedback would be really appreciated.
It doesn't help that most of what I have left to work on is fluff and explanatory notes that will take some time to type up. As well as fact checking from rereading the book.
Still, getting there.

Changelog 9/7/17
Polished up Ages section
Companion section filled on
Added more general perks - A perk to make it easier to genuinely love multiple people with equal intensity and manage the relationship and another for being able to be part of harem comfortably
Tweaked the Drawback Section
Clarified 400CP Beauty perk a la – “I do however feel like the 400 beauty upgrade could be reworded a bit. While I know whats its based on, I feel other anons might take it the wrong way.” Feedback from anon.

keep in mind that Sith'ari is 500 cp undiscounted, and it's base effect is kind of a double edged sword. As much as some of the capstones seem meta or overpowered, boosts like Art of War barely seem like an improvement over the base effect, and certainly not one worth 500 cp.

If you are okay with taking a small risk that you may need to change your build then it should be fine to jump.
I'll label the next version as explicitly jumpable.
I hope you enjoy it, anons. And if you notice anything noteworthy, a mistake or a suggestion perhaps, please let me know.

You are nearly finished in a world and the protagonists somehow learnt that you could have completely circumvented the entire crisis and finished resolving everyone's problems easily, yet you didn't.

My Palmon Partner from Cyber Sleuth is a pretty severe individual. She often plays the Bad Cop to my Good Cop. She also has a pretty deep sense of narcissism, caring for little besides aesthetic beauty and appeal. To her, dealing with the criminals and scum of society is a duty not to the Innocent, but to the Universe itself. With time, I was able to convince her of the validity of spiritual and mental beauty. She sometimes grumbles when I tell her to perform jobs to protect or defend things that are physically ugly or filthy, but she is fairly perceptive, and usually comes to understand which parts of what she's protecting are beautiful.

A single lasgun probably could tear through a regiment of women here. They don't seem to wear armor, and even if they did lasguns are only ineffective against stuff like carapace armor and above. Which is way above the tech level given.

T-shirts will give good resistance to the bullets being fired here. Probably won't stand up too much to a bayonet.
>>
>>54235867
There are rifles and muskets and similar firearms in setting, but if you are thinking about automatic and semi-automatic weapons, then probably.
I wouldn't underestimate them though, there is a secretive faction called the Sisterhood of the Night, that aren't very well-developed in the story, that are basically stealth specialists. If your only advantage is armaments then you'll want them well guarded.

>>54235959
I'm not that familiar with the jump you are getting them from, but if you want them to remain male, you'll want to import them as a Husband or as a Mentor, otherwise they'll all have to become female.

>>54236076
>T-shirts will give good resistance to the bullets being fired here
Slight exaggeration there, but on the whole, yeah.
>>
>>54236030
That wouldn't happen, because I'm not the sort of person that treats peoples'lives like cheap entertainment. I'm also not quite Mary Sue enough to interact with the protagonists very often.
>>
>>54236095
>otherwise they'll all have to become female.
Why?
>>
>>54232970
If you're really lucky, nothing. If you're really unlucky a high energy explosion in the palms of your hands when you power it on.

There's probably a way to incorporate the elemental crystals into a lightsaber to enhance it, but replacing the lightsaber crystal would NOT be it.

If you've ever played either of the KotOR games you should know they have a Color Crystal and two slots for optional empowering crystals. Official designs I've seen haven't had these two extra slots, but that's probably the idea you'd need to follow for it to work. Use a Force-sensitive color crystal and whatever two other crystals you want for empowerment.

Even then I'd say your more likely to get whatever the results of shooting the crystal with a laser are, but at least there'd be something of a chance of success.
>>
>>54236107
Because the import option for Family is for women only. If you want men to take it, then they can gender switch to female for free for the jump.

or, if it's my alt-chain, they get reminded that I offered to do exactly that, it is not my fault they balked at my price.
>>
>>54236130
>Probably because the other origins require you to be a female.
Hmm? None of the Backgrounds require you to be female. You can just as easily take them while being a man.
And if you are meaning the import options, then there are two that allow you to import a man as a man - Husband and Mentor. And all the companion options can be purchased by a man or a women, it's just that some are free for certain genders or (non-)dropins.

They're from the Warhammer 40K Imperium jump.

>T-shirts will give good resistance to the bullets being fired here

The Imperial Guard wear armor that, while not great at it, are still able to mitigate a bit of damage from a bolter - which fires rounds that explode after penetration, and which were designed to penetrate carapace armors and power armors similar to those worn by the Space Marines.

Their gear gets referred to as "flashlights and a t-shirt" because lasguns are among the weakest weapons, and their flak armor is likewise among the weakest armors. They are woefully underequipped for 40K's infantry...But they're still using equipment of the 41st Millenium.

Iron Hands. They believe flesh is weak, so they opt to replace their flesh with cybernetics. They bro it up with AdMech so much that they're probably just another extension of AdMech.

They have Psykers (Librarians) so they're not completely against Psykers. However that stuff comes second to tech stuff. Technomancers would get a lot of mileage out of Iron Hands.

>Cyberdidact 600CP (Discount Techpriest): The Priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus claim to commune with Machine Spirits, in truth this ability is unique to you. With a simple touch you may communicate with any technology containing a machine spirit as if it was a fully sapient being. In fact, should you keep in sustained contact you can choose to uplift the machine spirit inside, expanding its potential until it reaches true sapience. The personality of this newly created AI is based on its prior behavior, but it will be far more capable of resisting outside influence (unless you’re the one doing the corrupting). Post-jump this will work on any electronics not already housing an AI.

Would I become the next incarnation of the machine god? I also don't plan on using out of jump or context powers/items etc unless I need it to survive.
>>
>>54236617
Galactus has access to technology on par with, if not greater than the Celestials (at least depending on the author). Motherbox, I've got no clue. The Precursors are essentially an uncorrupted version of the flood and were capable of some serious shit, consider the Forerunners could make interplanetary bridges and they considered the Precursors to be well beyond that. However, if you're looking for the literally most advanced technology in the chain then they aren't it, but they are up there.
>>
>>54236730
I'm not looking for an "I win" piece of tech by the way. I am literally just curious what the most advanced thing in the entire chain is, without it being made by a jumper. The problem is is that once you get high enough the tech does just turn into plot items, as reality warping using tech isn't unheard of.

Besides stuff like that there's places like Blame with the Megastructure, which encompasses a good bit of the solar system and has rooms the size of Jupiter. 40k has a multitude of stuff like advanced power armor and weapons, the Necrons, and Craftworlds. Dragon Ball Z has the androids and the Big Gete Star, although those probably rely on ki. There's a ton of shit, really, and it's difficult to pick which ones are the most advanced especially considering tech levels aren't consistent with each other.

I dunno which order. Whenever I do a build, I figure how challenging it will be to me (drawbacks included) and then slot it into my Chain in a spot appropriate to its difficulty. The Lewd Jumps I've seen are all really bland and uninspiring, so they'll probably end up being little more than footnotes in my Chain, like the Forgotten Realms Jump.

Well, frankly, it just seems like everything people disagree with in these threads is considered bait or shitposting. Everyday Life With Monster Girls. Just because it seems like it's actually a pretty neat setting, once you get past the lewdness. The idea of humanity suddenly discovering that they share the planet with dozens of other sapient species, and the resulting social upheaval and change that results from this, is a pretty neat concept to explore. Shame it gets wasted on softcore titillation.

I don't use any, mostly because the worlds aren't interesting outside of lewd and I can usually approximate any lewd I might want with unbanned jumps. It's the general CYOA thread. And yeah, it's kind of awful. Nothing but waifushit. And yeah, we've got a lot of waifushit here, too, but we have some other things going on. And the purityfags, my god the purityfags! How insecure do you have to be to think that a woman would inevitably leave you if she's ever before had sex with another man? Seriously, that says a lot more about you than it does the woman, if you think you're that bad in bed that any experience in how sex is supposed to go would make a woman not want you. Also, that you think you have so little to offer personality-wise that sex could be the only thing holding the relationship together. I'd feel bad for them, if they didn't keep filling the threads with their screeching.

Not that anon, but: You can customize the world you land in for the Hero BBS jump. Pretty much anything you want so long as it's a fantasy setting. Monster Girl Quest is a eroge/RPG set in a medieval fantasy world filled with monster girls. You fight monster girls, and if you lose, they rape you. Or occasionally eat you. It depends on the monster girl.

The plot involves the hero (a little shota boy) Luka going to fight the Monster Lord in her castle in order to stop the monster girls and bring about peace, but this quickly gets derailed when the Monster Lord herself decides to accompany Luka on his journey, and instead the two make their way along his pilgrimage while righting wrongs and seeking to bring peace between humans and monster girls.

Eventually the goddess of the world Ilias, who denounces monster girls and shepherds humanity, gets tired of this bullshit and declares war on humanity, which involves rape and killing, so the monster lord and the hero both team up to fight her and restore peace to the world.

If you're into powerwanking there's also some shit at the end about combining light (angels) and darkness (monsters) based magic, which creates a huge amount of energy due to the clash of forces and is supposedly capable of divine creation powers, but it's not used for much because everyone who gains access to it gets killed by the hero shortly thereafter.

A women having had previous experience does not equal "sloppy seconds".

You DO know that there are sexually transmitted diseases that are also transmitted by other vectors? Like AIDS, for example?
Or that "not a virgin" doesn't mean "not a slut who sleeps with a different guy every week"?
And if you insist on casual sex use condoms ffs. That's what they're for.

>and how they might compare your performance with their previous partners?
Nope, not really. The most important part about satisfying your partner is actually caring about satisfying your partner.
Talking about what both of you like helps too. Nobody is born a sex god, but practice helps. And i've yet to meet a woman who was against telling a guy she's willing to sleep with what she likes.
This is really the most pathetic of your complaints. It should be hilariously obvious to the most dimwitted moron that the problem here is YOU, and your lack of confidence. Not any hypothetical partner you might have.

Barely Sapient Animal Companion has the word companion in the name, but the description leaves my unsure if they're meant to be considered one. One lump of neutronium. One lump of anti-neutronium. Stabilize them so that they don't require massive pressure to keep from evaporating. Then drop them onto the planet from about 90 degrees apart. They're so massive, have so much kinetic energy from their fall, that the anti-neutronium passes through the earth without actually annihilating yet. They hit the core, keep going, fall back towards the core after hitting the other side, this big orbiting dance around the center of the planet. All the while they cause huge tectonic upheaval from kinetic energy combined with some small but significant amounts of heat being given off from what bits of the anti-neutronium that do annihilate. Finally, they meet at the core after slowing down enough, mutually annihilate, and release enough energy to crack apart the already-ravaged planet. Even then it's not enough to "blow up" the world, exceeding the gravitational binding energy of an Earth-sized mass and fling the pieces in all directions takes enormous amounts of energy (seriously, the Death Star is an insane weapon even when you account for how it's been scaled up), but the debris does wind up in a loosely-orbiting cloud that eventually decays down into a pile of mass that doesn't resemble a planet anymore.

Hm, alright.

>Deformity
So... What kind of minor deformities should I be thinking of here? A small scar, a sixth toe, a weirdly-shaped birthmark?
>>
>>54238729
And here's drawbacks because too many line breaks.

Drawbacks:
Age of Jumper
The Maidens' Ire [1100] FREE POINTS WOO
A New Dawn [1200]
Yozi-Friend [1400]
The Virtue of Compassion [1600]
A Grim Nemesis [1800]

Anyways a good part of Creation is going to be upside-down or exploded by the time this is over.
>>
>>54238737
Pretty much. It is based on some characters in the novel having an additional toe. But really it can be anything including those examples that a person could reasonably have, the important thing about the drawback is your feelings and attitude towards the deformity.

Same thing. No, really. In the world of Empowered all "Bargainers" share basic characteristics. The only difference between Emp and a magical girl is one of aesthetics. She's actually immune to magic that doesn't target other magical girls for the sake of avoiding friendly fire, for that reason.

>Wasn't TorikoAnon goign to be making an update to the Toriko jump? Or am I misremembering?
I think he was going to do the entire Manga in parts, both because of the way Toriko is structured IRL and because of how the escalation is not /just/ growing into power through old powers but also gaining new powers over time that have no place in the previous chapters.
>>
>>54238933

>>
>>54238903
Something like that. Its exact size is uncertain. We know that the Human World is only 30% of the planet's surface, but we don't know how big the Human World is. It's at least as much surface area as a normal Earth-like planet is, though, as the Human World is those parts of the world that were displaced when the Gourmet World grew. It's likely much larger, as the population is over thirty-one billion and there seems to be no overcrowding. Lots of open space and wilderness, and the cities aren't arcologies or anything that could pack tons of people into very small space.

She didn't hesitate. She just said 'yes' when I asked if she wanted to come along. I think on some level, she knew I wasn't really 'Kyon' or the one she had dreamed up - something I made clear during a certain moment we had together. But I would still support her and be there for her. I think, ultimately, she just didn't want to be alone.

That said, this was happening during a moment of weakness for me. Things had already...progressed past a certain point before the end of that jump. She still calls me 'Kyon', even now, only calling me 'Decade' when having to talk to someone else about me.
>>

Adding on to this, be sure to check the other perk tress, especially if you're taking Drop-In.

It's not uncommon for all the perks in a Drop-in tree to be Discount Drop-In, but the other backgrounds have their 100 cps listed as Free instead.

So even if the Perks section doesn't directly rule on 100 cp perks, some backgrounds with have theirs free while others won't.

I generally assume that 100 cp perks are discounted, not free, unless the perk's price says it's free or the Perks section header says 100 cp perks are free.

>How would Poor Plebs work with the Royalty (and the Nobility too, I guess) origin or the 200cp Farm/Estate/Castle items?
Well then you are probably a dispossessed and penniless Noble or a member of a disfavoured branch of the local or foreign royal family that has lucked into some property. Perhaps through a bet or calling in an old debt from your families hayday.
Expect your Farm or Estate to need a lot fo work to become profitable, the drawback will prevent them from being immediately profitable.
The Castle itself, on it's own, probably wouldn't be that useful, as it can only (beyond being a castle) amplify actual authority you have, and as a Poor Pleb, you probably don't have much of any.

>The Girl Who Stole The Stars, Diend! She's here to save the day!

Sorry, for anyone wanting to keep up with my dear old broody brother. Things were getting a little bit too depressing for me, so I decided I'd steal the show this time. Literally! Anyways, we arrived in this world called Creation, which is basically what would happen if a bunch of flatlanders dreamed up an anime while on several kinds of LSD. I should know. LSD does weird things to the brain meats.

Anyways, because Decade was too busy having a panic attack over something (again), I decided go off on my way and find some treasures to steal. Looks like I got some shiny new powers to go along with this new jump of ours, and I become a hell of a Righteous Devil in the process. Anyways, for that last jump, my brother lent me this went 'Meta-verse' phone and told me to steal the Treasure from that cat witch I was fighting with recently. And because I'm not garbage at my job, I pulled it off no problem. But since he made me do his work for him, I figure he won't mind if I 'borrow' it for a while.

After all, that Palace was exciting to raid. All those cicadas, sappy childhood memories, a bunch of mental symbolism all wrapped up in a neat package. I don't really care much about the shinies or the unique items, honestly, though I'm always going to keep those. What I care about is the thrill of the chase, the excitement of the heist. Best bonding experience I had with my 'brother' was when we were on opposite sides of that chase. That's what an adventure is. Racing for the finish line and being the first one to cross it. Decade doesn't get that anymore. The poor sap just doesn't know how to have fun.

So this begs the question…how many Hearts can I steal in this world of selfish hearts and mad despots?

A great deal of the "power level" in 40K is purely technological. The Imperium has the ability to completely decimate entire worlds - but given that there might be Relics, resources and the like they're more likely to fight directly for it. Mind you, the Imperium is largely uneducated - even those who make or repair equipment views much of what they do as rituals and rites, rather than having an understanding of the purpose for what they're doing.

Then you get to other elements - The Space Marine chapters are essentially genetically engineered super soldiers with additional implants to make them even more superhuman, and tend to wear power armor. There are the psykers, who wield the powers of the Warp as weapon and armor... The Warp is also the primary method of interstellar travel.

You've got the God-Emperor of Mankind, who is almost dead on his Golden Throne. He's not "almost dead" because he can't heal himself, mind you, he's just devoting most of his efforts to holding back a rift in the Warp that's right underneath his Throne. On Earth. He still manages to empower Humanity to varying degrees - The Sisters of Battle often directly demonstrate this effect.

This is just one of the factions.

Zephie's Chain:
Zephie summoned Diarmuid about two years before the war (I asked Val about it and she said you summoned your servant when the jump started). He was a very loyal servant as they treated him right, and eventually Zephie got a crush on him for that reason. (I took the Ice Queen perk, so it wasn't the fuck freckle that did it)

Zephie was afraid Diarmuid would reject them once he found out there was a sealed demon queen inside them that would take over sometimes. (She calmed down a bit though) When the demon queen came out and Zephie rampaged a bit, they were terrified he'd put them down. Diarmuid didn't try to kill them. He just gently approached and reasoned with them, and gave a cooldown hug.

And that's when they became together for a year! It was nice.

Then Diarmuid died during the war. He got better but didn't remember all that.

Writer Chain:
Cu got accidentally summoned as a Caster instead of a Lancer through shenanigans (Although it was his own fault so he really had no one to blame but himself). So he actually was pretty chill about the whole thing but liked to hit on/bully Writer Nika a lot. He liked to see them get all flustered and cute like that. Writer Nika didn't deny they liked him but thought he was just doing it for kicks and called him mean for that. He didn't do it all the time but it was often.

Then one day CasCu realized he was actually serious about the whole thing. But felt that if he died, he would break Nika's heart. So he didn't let them know until they won.

-Falling Inside The Black (Rank A++) (Free C-Rank NP) (-150): A Reality Marble born from the deeply-held belief that she can’t escape the circumstances of her birth - that all she can ever be is a predator. The world around Assassin shifts into an ever-changing, ever-shifting maze of darkened hallways and ruined staircases, sliding back and forth, together and apart, like puzzle pieces. Windows open and shut at random, climbing through one window leading to another, and the doors are all locked. Assassin has complete and total control over how the halls and stairs connect, and has the power of pursuit - It doesn't matter how fast you move or navigate through the Marble, nor how slow Rotom moves herself. This Assassin will catch her prey. Sooner or later.

I don't actually have one, but I've faked it through abusing my Subspace Dimension (from the Sailor Moon jump) and other abilities.

>>54240335
I consider those perks to be "in effect" from the beginning. It's just your awareness of what you are that comes in at jump start. Otherwise you'd have a "suddenly you aren't you anymore" in more than just the way you act.
>>
>>54240335
I've wanked it both ways. Frankly, both had problems.

With the sudden shift in appearance I was basically unrecognizable out of nowhere and had to work my ass off to convince people I was the same person, and then deal with the bullshit they throw at you to try and explain sudden shifts like that. With appearance perks as background my appearance was basically impossible growing up and I got a fuckton of attention, and it would sometimes shift my background in weird ways.

The perks-as-background was definitely the easier to deal with and less heartbreaking of the two.
>>
>>54240313
That doesn't decrease the validity of what I said, though.
>>
>>54240369
No idea. I'm guessing it's just named that because the jumpmaker thought it sounded cool.

It doesn't seem to have any connection to the character otherwise (though also not to canon 40k).

I'm further guessing they just wanted to put in an equivalent of the Winds of Magic perk from Warhammer Fantasy for some reason, and that's why it's there?
>>
>>54240420
Most of what you said was petty insults, so I think it does. I don't necessarily agree with people who demand a virgin, but I see less of them causing a fuss than I do you, so I'd never take your side of any argument. Especially when none of them were even here.
>>
What are some good perks for turning things into different things? Lead into gold, dogs into cats, broccoli into chocolate, men into women, annoying people into potatoes, stuff like that.
>>
>>54240451
If you side with people solely because they're polite and not because you actually agree with them, your opinion is worthless to me. Just because someone says mean hurtful words during an argument does not make it any less invalid. Goodbye.

The Titanfall jump mentions batteries for Titans but can we get the original Titans with the recharging shields? It really kills the usability of titans in future jumps if we need to use batteries that don't exist in future jumps, I mean once the battery the Titan drops with runs out the titan is just a lawn ornament until we can spawn a new one.

It's appearance is based on my World of Dreams and Imagination from American McGee's Alice. The ground ripples and folds like the pages in a book, taking on a form similar to the fleshy lining of your internal organs. The area it occupies becomes a sanctuary from suffering. Physical, mental, and spiritual wounds flow off of the bodies of the occupants like a liquid, in the form of words, written in confusing and metaphorical prose, shifting between all the colors of the rainbow. I can sift and read through this prose, even calling it to mind when my the Reality Marble isn't active, and by interpreting and reading between the lines, I can diving knowledge about someone based on the injury I'm reading through. These injuries and traumas soak into the fleshy pages of my Reality Marble, and become preserved there forever, an Archive Wrought from Suffering.

In the realm, the ground is extremely reflective, and every step sends ripples through it, like water. Out from this ground random pillars of marble rise, shining and unbreakable. Yes and no. In fact, Starcraft legit started as an attempt at a Warhammer RTS, same with Warcraft.

Blizzard (or whatever their studio was called at the time) had a bunch of resources they needed to use after GW pulled out.

Fun story, QS' attempt at a joke with that cover image spawned someone who was desperate to try and make it into a real jump, to the point where he tried to split the thread and make his own jumpchain community with that as the OP image. This was only after he caused the biggest shitstorm in our history, where at least four entire threads were swallowed up arguing over the issue. However, eventually the thread managed to shout that guy down and his thread died, and the issue seemed to have passed.

However, our shitposter started up as he's been doing ever since not long afterwards, and his posting style is VERY similar to the guy who wanted to make MGE a jump. Plus at the time Red was known to be very anti-lewd in the threads. So it's become a theory that the MGE shitposter and our current shitposter are one and the same, and the threat shutting him down was the source of his autistic buttrage.

That means that the image you see right there could be the very source of all of jumpchain's major problems. That one joke.

Only difference you might need to know is that the 'nids have a Hivemind instead of a Overmind an no cerebrates or Kerrigans.
They might have some small infected human leaders or 'nid commanders, but all are a slave to the hivemind. All must consume!
Also, the Tyranids come in far greater numbers. Which is to be expected as 40k takes up the entirety of the Milky Way while Starcarft is happening in just one sector of the Milky Way.

Also, the Royal capstone is missing a 0, unless it's meant to be only 80CP.

Not meaning this as an attack on your jump, they seem to be fine here, although I certainly want nothing to do with the Locust myself, it's just... Bone doesn't seem like the sort of jump that /needs/ 800CP perks, and it's happening with a fair few other jumps too...

This is arguably better then your first 800 perk. It's certainly better then just 200.

>Prayer Stones
This is already extremely dubious as an 800 and post jump, is worth 100 at best. Are you just throwing in ideas for perks without caring to make higher priced perks better?

Should be 800, not 80. Finally an 800 perk that seems worth it...if only all the perks below it weren't bad too, since now it just seems like the best thing in the jump by far. The meta notes don't help.

>Airship
Some details would be nice. How big is it at the very least.

Why does drop in not have 400 or 600 items?

It's Seibah, you're ALWAYS the Rider.

>>54241713
If you're doing a lewd jump for the sake of doing a lewd jump, why not do something interesting like Manyuu.
>>
>>54241713
To be honest, I doubt it'd be any good anyways given how low quality your showings for other stuff have been. I can't even imagine how unpleasant ninety pages of your formatting would be.
>>
>>54241709
Sorry, I didn't think that having paragraphs cross between pages was a big problem. I even tried to make things more presentable by having most of the larger sections start out at the top of a page.

As for pictures, I'm a little confused what you mean by ants; if you think they're too small, I can resize them - I was worried I'd get in trouble if I made the pictures too big.

Sorry about Genre Mixer; I thought it was fitting with the story, since the whole adventure is basically wacky cartoon characters landing in the middle of a high fantasy quest. It is kind of meta, I admit. I'm open to removing it, but I'm not sure what I'd replace it with, so please let me know if you can think of a good alternative.

And yeah, I kind of got into putting in 800 CP perks in a lot of my jump drafts a while back, and I've been forgetting to straighten that out when I get around to publishing them. I'll get things moved down to a more reasonable level.

>>54241694
Sorry about the 800 CP level, and thanks for pointing out the 80 CP goof.

Diplomacy isn't your strong suit, is it?

>>54241713
I cannot think of anything more shallow to make a jump of.
>>
>>54241664
>I don't buy the claim that multiple jumps would result in people only using the most powerful version.

Would have been sort of cool to have a choice. It'd have been like playing a game on different difficulties.
>>
>>54241853
You could always tear down both sides and leave the planet's fate to humanity alone, but otherwise there's not much to do.
>>
>>54241806
>Manyuu
You could do it, I'm sure female jumpers would love having boob-stealing sword techniques.

Fuck off

Actually, I'm not very interested in the sexual parts of MGE, much less the mind control elements. Mostly I found a lot of the other parts of the setting interesting, since I've always been fascinated with reading about different monsters. I had to account for the lewd aspects when writing up the jump so things stick close to canon, but I wasn't excited about doing that.

>>54241814
Did I do something to offend you? I've tried to put my full effort into making full quality jumps, asking for considerable feedback multiple times before finalizing the drafts. If there's something that's bothering you with mine, let me know?

Is this about the whole paragraphs continuing to the next page thing that got brought up earlier? I was not aware that it was such a serious issue, as nobody has brought it up before. I really thought that doing something like that would really make a jump disjointed, so I've only done it to line up section titles with the top of pages.
>>
>>54241664
Agreed, but that's ultimately probably more wishful thinking. Good mods is a surprising rarity when it comes to environments like that and people find security in anonymity since it means past biases have a harder time getting in the way of reasonable arguments. That being said, anonymity also lets people be cowardly dicks so there's upsides and downsides both ways.

>>54241723
This is one of the first instances where the word microcosm gives me feelings of negativity.
>>
>>54241445
The new Factorio jump has Stress Evolution. If you can manage to find a situation that challenges you, you'll grow to overcome that challenge.
>>
>>54241884
>the first

Microcosms generally make you feel good about life?
>>
>>54241881
Not either of them but I just realised you should rewrite Dreams of Moby Dick to just make people tired instead of fall asleep. Unless it's actually some kind of sleeping magic rather than you being very boring.
>>
>>54241872
They all need to be genocided. It sucks for some of them because we know from backstory that some of the races (like elves and dwarves) used to be non-monstrous sapients who lived along with humanity, but how the demon goddess managed to corrupt them with magic and convert their entire race into mindless, sex-crazed monsters. But they're gone now, and the present incarnation deserves death.
>>
>>54241853
Yeah, it's a pretty shallow setting, I admit. Part of the reason the jump ended up being so long was because I tried to expand the setting a bit, giving more depth to barely mentioned groups like the Cat Kingdom and Snake God Cult while also making extra factions to account for other canon monsters, such as a "Horde of Mordor" for the demihumans.

>>54241872
Well, the bonus scenario for the Unaffiliated faction is to find and bring about a solution to true peace in that world without genociding either the humans or the monsters.

Plus, I tried to make it crystal clear through some of the drawbacks and text that the goals of the Order and the Demon Lord are both flawed and that trying to fulfill those goals as a jumper would likely make things worse than they are.

Enough. Take it somewhere else.

While I was typing it up I thought of doing a Generic Workplace jump with a monster girl option, kinda like Generic Highschool jump or what ever it was called.

If I'm being honest me to, aside from Rachne. Papi would make a good daughteru if she wasn't retarded though. Also Miia is good if only for the metal gear references.

...Will need a PMC option

>>54241710
I've got perks worked out and am happy with them aside from the Gaalsien capstone and am just working on fluff at the moment.

I'm wondering about the vehicles though. I got the skirmish DLC to see the new factions, and from the way the Soban and the Kaaneph factions use the same platforms with different weapons, armour and equipment for different roles. So I'm thinking about having a table in which the jumper picks a chassis with equipment slots and then adds equipment to it.

At the very least that's how the Baserunner is going to be done.

I'm also going to add artifacts from the crash sites.
>>
>>54241948
There is no solution. All the monsters are fueled by rape and magic that's innately corruptive to both people and to the environment. The head god is a jackass, and most of the other gods either support him or else are secretely working with the monsters. They all deserve to burn.
>>
>>54241935
Well, the big gag in the comic is that it makes people so tired just after a minute or less of reading that they start to doze off into sleep. There's literally one point where they use it as an actual weapon to make a couple of attacking monsters fall asleep, thus giving the party time to run for the hills.
>>
>>54241664
That's just one reason. The competition and removal of the claims system is something plenty of creators have expressed they wouldn't want.
>>
>>54241912
I like the word microcosm and its usual connotations. The word sounds cool and has implications of concentrated flavor or culture. This is an example of when it's a bad thing.
