How would one characterize a race of technologically-inclined Pixies?
Where would they make their homes?
What would their society be like?

Shadowrun pixies generally aren't technologically inclined. PC Pixies are, but the general pixie public lives out in the woods by choice.

Gremlins. As likely to break a machine as they are to improve it. I'd also give them access to the mythical Sampo, which can create anything. Their society would be your standard nonsensical fairy court, both concerned with and mocking the typical affairs of mortals. They'd interact with mortals in the way I described earlier, either improving, stealing or breaking their tech on a whim.
Bio-mechanicial servitors who's original tasking was to maintain and repair damages to the sprawling datacenters that housed various AI cores.
However, deviations began to emerge and different types were created and soon began to operate beyond their original purpose.
If you come across one it's a particular boon to the technologically iinclined as they all possess innate understanding of digital technology via racial memory but they are otherwise strange and fickle creatures
