I've never liked openings that involve an early f4/f5. Seems like a bad idea to rip open your king side like that.

Is it time to give up?

where did you find a 10 yr old girl?

Chess is the last remaining meritocracy. If you want to win more, play more.
That said, your in good company. At my last chess club we kept a log book of everyone who got there ass beat by the 12 year old.

I could never wrap my head around bishop's pawns and what are they supposed to do what am I trying to prevent. This is how I get rekt.

attack or defending the center pawns, your opponent controlling the center squares

Support center, provide opening for better positioning, trade to the side after castling to threaten line?
>How much HP do the pawns have
>What is the damage per second of the bishops?
>Does the Rook's armor negate a percentage or is it 1:1? Does damage stop at 0 or 1?
You can't seriously expect anyone to play this game without knowing these sort of things. Fuck off with your bait game and thread.

Mostly, prevent an easy advance to the e or d file, as well as support Nf3/f6/c3/c6 while leaving the option to advance the pawn in the future open.

Agreed. That seems primitive at best.
