as far as G/B you have a LOT of options but hapatra is probably the closest to a build around me commander that they have, maybe gitrog monster too.
Personally I LOVE the hapatra decks that are in my meta but If I was going to build a G/B deck myself it would either be meren or Savra, Queen of the Golgari

Usually if I like the playstyle I will sink more into it.

No, they are not. You can have Crovax the Cursed and Crovax Ascendent Hero in play at the same time but can't have Jace Beleren and Jace the Mind Sculptor.

I have a reputation for going off and winning at instant speed out of the blue and at awkward times, like in a lethal combat step, or in response to a Pact of Negation trigger. My deck has some complex lines and some clear and obvious ones. I regret how long it takes for me to go off sometimes, but my group usually isn't too upset, or they see the line I'm taking and concede.
My favorite card is probably Mystic Retrieval, for the Mystical Tutor for Retrieval, get back Tutor, cast Tutor, Flashback Retrieval cast Tutor lines that let me grab 2 spells.

Reaper King was the first deck I built back when I started in New Phyrexia. Entirely constructed out of my friends bulk and nonsense, it was a beautiful menagerie of terrible commons and uncommons with an artifact theme (thanks Mirrodin), but every time I got to slam down that King and boldly shout "ITS HARVEST TIME", I was as proud of that deck as I have ever been of any deck since. Over the years of playing with this group that got me into Magic (I didn't realize there were even other ways to play besides with 100 cards and a general) the deck slowly gained more rares, scarecrows, and artifact nonsense until it formed into the scariest deck in our playgroup, and the mere whisper of Harvest Time would send shudders down my friends' spine.

Flash forward 6 years, 1500 miles, and at least 50 decks built and retired. I no longer play with those long gone friends, and honestly I don't even have a group to play with that I even like. Still, Reaper King resides in a hallowed space in my deck case, foiled out, with only the most beautiful un-lands, triple sleeved with Perfect Fit Dragon Shields, Yuru Yuri custom art sleeves, and oversized art covers. It's final form a deck so bewildering to behold, so beautiful and terrible at the same time, an amalgamation of artifact and five color combo, that any who face its glory soon learn the terror of the words of the King.

To play Reaper King is to play the King of Magic. To utter his holy mantra is to evoke an emotion previously unbeknownst to those who hear it. To King is to Harvest. To Harvest is to King.

Not really, you basically build whatever deck you want to build to its fullest, and then remove a couple of the more powerful cards for weaker options that can fill the same role. Like how you can sub out ABUR duals for less desirable ones. Sure, there are some cards that are so good that you can't replace them because there is no knock-off version, like Gaea's Cradle, but then it's probably not a card you'd want in a 75% deck anyway. That being said, you shouldn't make it intentionally weak, just a less powerful than it could possibly be.

There is a growing group of Vintage players that want this. Wotc doesn't pay that much attention to the format and just made a terrible decision to restrict Gitaxian Probe and Gush specifically to hurt Mentor. In their announcement they said it would hurt Mentor decks so that they're played less often and Workshops decks will become worse when they can't prey on Mentor.

Now a few months have passed and it's more clear than ever that Mentor and Workshops are the two best decks and together they are typically 6-7 of top 8s. If wotc stopped sanctioning events it would be sad but then players would take control and the banlist would be controlled by people extremely invested and experienced in the game. Wotc just looks at MTGO and makes their best guess at what to restrict and doesn't have the guts to restrict Mentor because it is a creature.

My playgroup, who usually play high tier decks wanted to take a break from combo decks and stax and try to return to the level that we started with

I want to make a possibility storm deck that uses knowledge pool and other effects to lock the board but I don't really want to go hard for the lock I'd rather play around with the effect for a bit
Are there any other "fun" effects that interact with possibility storm? I know there's a legend that does it but it's mono blue and I want some red spells
I also am under the impression that future sight and magus of the future will get around possibility storm too

Any thoughts?

Looting is NOT card advantage. You can add "virtual" if you want but if you spend 1 card to destroy an opponent's 1 card then you have not gained card advantage. It you gain 1 card by drawing then lose 1 card by discarding you have gained no card advantage. You've gotten better card selection and probably quality but "card advantage" specifically refers to numbers of cards.

Forked Bolt on two 1/1's is card advantage. Killing a 2/2 might be a better play if that creature is important but it will never be card advantage. Vampiric Tutor is a very good card but it doesn't give you card advantage.

You have 39 lands, 30 of which are basics. You are not running cards that punish nonbasics which makes this very subpar. In addition, your curve is disgustingly high and you are running a total of two mana rocks. Take out 4-5 lands, find room for 8 or so other rocks.
