Because Diablo is too generic. It doesn't hold a candle to Warcraft's or Starcraft's lore.

>steal the worldstone and create a Sanctuary
>start fucking and create new hybrid race
>Angels and Demons are still fighting but now this new world and its new race is caught up in everything

To be fair, Warcraft lore is just "muh void lords ruined everything" and every villain is ultimately just an unknowing part of a complex eldritch plot composed entirely of asspulls and bad characterization.
