I don't understand what is supposed to be so torturous about it?

I will play literally any game with an isometric map
Its how maps are supposed to be

Absence of grids or enforced grid bound positioning from your software choice in conjunction with iso may annoy some people.
Anyone know of some good free/libre isometric map programs? Looking to do some map making for my war/rp games.
>>54152555
heh, my favorite level
>>54152534
In my experience they actually work decently well in roll20, because you can just set a unit on the map to be whatever and then use your pointer to calculate distance. Wouldn't recommend them for D&D per se, but might work.

I read that as Hallways of Thyme and was very confused for a moment.
not a combat map but same idea

Missing the pillar that hides the roundabout.

why do I have screenshots of the places you post?
>>54153397
After the expansion, I would camp outside there, get attacked by an assassin, and then have an awesome set of light armour at the start of the game.
>>54153783
It sucks that the unmodified games throws that armor at you so early. I normally delay it or leave the armor stashed somewhere.

Also curious about this.

People also use C4D apparnetly
>>54152564
I swear this is a Spyro 1 level
>>54152445
Top down is better for most people in terms for easy understanding of the area layout despite that isometric looks better.
