Well herald of nurgle gives +1 strength to them when nearby but he's obviously slower than them so he will need to advance a lot to keep up.
He can also cast "Virulent Blessing" to give them +1 to wound and double damage on 7+ wound rolls.
So that gives bloat drones 2d6 auto hits at effective 3+ to wound rerolling 1s with a small chance of a crit against toughness seven vehicles, which is most vehicles! They still only do a little bit of armor though so that sucks.

Virulent Blessing is just such a darn good power. On Daemon Princes, Daemon Engines and Great Unclean Ones it lets you rip up vehicles, on Plaguebearers or Plague Drones it makes you far deadlier than expected. At times its +1 strength and + some crit, but for example bringing plaguebearers up from 5+ to 4+ to wound vs vehicles is a much bigger boost!

So is it just me or is Ahriman terrible? He loses his re-rolls on invun saves of 1 on himself when he takes his disk.
His psychic phase has lost all its flavour and I dont just mean the spells available to him.

Girlyman has a Tribune with him. In 30k, Tribunes are super powerful, near Primarch level. Valdor is only better by dint of giving everybody Deep Strike free of charge. So buy the Tribune model from Warhammer World and you can use them. Just hope 40k brings rules for them.

Step 3.1: Choose Unit to Shoot With explicitly states " You may not pick a unit that Advanced or Fell Back this turn, or a unit that is within 1" of an enemy unit."

Does this not mean you will never have an opportunity to fire your Assault Weapons, since it only allows the individual model to fire, but you can never pick the unit that model is in due to step 3.1?

Likewise for Pistols for units within 1" of an enemy. The rule allows MODELS to fire but you'll never be legally able to pick the unit for shooting in the first place.

mostly slaanesh daemons here. 1-2-0 so far, got smashed by deathwatch (i need anti tank) then timed out against ultramarines featuring calgar. had the 2nd game gone on idk who would've won. keeper of secrets almost shot to bits but managed to snap a dreadnought in half

This is admittedly for a tournament in the UK using Mixed Scoring (ETC System), so it has some advantages against those lists. They'll either have to land to stop reserves getting to the backline, which means they can be charged, or fly around, which means that the backline can be accessed.

The Paladins alone spit out 25 3+ To hit (2+ in sarge) rerolling 1s, with a 3+ to wound ANYTHING.with dready and hammerhand (2+ on T4 or less!). Add in AP-2 and D3 damage and the lil niggas wiped a fucking land raider out in one turn.

It's badass

I get the captin and looking at it the other hq, I even understand the new skull guys after reading the books about them being like scouts+1 but given this is mostly how the legions functioned in 30k what is the point of primaris tacs? Even tacs in 30k had fury of the legion.

Eldar are the psyker faction. Their primary trait in fluff and in game is that they have the best psykers. Almost every Eldar codex and 40K rulebook in its description of the faction calls its psykers the best.

Yes. Anytime you could end up with a unit on the battlefield that you didn't pay for when writing your army list, it has to come out of your reinforcement points. If you didn't set any reinforcement points aside you don't get spawn.

The only exception to this rule that I know of is Tyranid Spore Mines and Mucolids because they have a special rule that explicitly gives them permission to ignore this.

Draigo looks really really good, he can pretty much cleave through a tank by himself. Hammerhand against t7 and hes got a good chance to put out 15 damage.

From what I understand a Librarian still has the Librarius discipline so you can get your daemonhammer paladins up to s10 5 attacks t5 rerolling charges.

Spamming strike squads seems really good if you can get them all with double falchions.
