Alright, let's forget for a second that for some reason in 40k every race is 100% xenophobic to every other species. Here's the situation:

>There's an ongoing 5-way clusterfuck on a planet going between the Imperium (With representatives from IG, SM, big =]I[=, AM, and Sisters), Eldar, Tau Empire, Necrons, and let's say Orks, just for the hell of it.
>Spontaneous warp storm traps all armies on that planet, no communication out, travel impossible, webway gates sabotaged by some dick with a lot of horns on his helmet.
>Fuckhueg daemonic invasion happens, all armies must ally or die.
>Warpstorm lasts millennia, Daemonic invasion is nearly constant and only through constant reaffirmation of their alliance do they manage to survive. Generations live and die only knowing that Xenos and Human work together towards a common defense.

Let's assume that, for whatever reason, they're the most open-minded examples of their species/organizations. Who allies? Who needs to die because even their most open-minded leave no room for negotiation? What do all these armies look like after thousands of years of isolation from the Galaxy?

And what does the final product look like after the warp storms clear?

orks would need to evolve more sane members or go extinct.

Even the most open Minded Eldar HATE Necrons and the Necrons are not unlikely to return the sentiment so the alliance will likely have to choose one or the other.

Inquisition forces will similarly need to cull their more fanatical/stupid elements.

Tau are pretty even handed and would likely be the Commander Shepards, Kirks and Picards to the alliance, but the Kroot's dietary needs may come to a head in any time corpses done pile up, especially as only allies make any.

The Calixis sector has radical inquisition who believes the Imperial Cult is full of shit for theor xenophobic and Psyker prejudice. So havimg the Calixis Sector do a purge of the traditionalists so they can be the go to guys for handling chaos will serve as a lynchpin for the humans need for an Inquisition. The problem is the minor xeno races is a worrying concern for welcoming in like those maggot aliens.

I wonder if Necrons would even be trapped by a warp storm. I feel like they'd just say fuck it and leave us all to die traveling through space the old fashioned way.

Adeptus mechanicus hate tau and probably hate necrons and eldar because of lack of machine spirits, like all admech would feel physically disgusted seeing any tech without spirits.

I can see tau, humans and possibly the orks (when given sufficient time to to be forcefully evolved into being more open to allies) being willing to maintain their alliance after the warpstorm passes. necrons and eldar have to many long term plays to make and would treat such a situation as being an team up born of necessity.

I could see them eldar and space marines giving in to the alliance if the "team up or die" phase lasts long enough for them to through multiple generations/have their leaderships cycle a few times.

Necrons are a no however as they are just evil robots.

How about with different factions?

>Skaven, sisters of battle, lizardmen, chaos cultists, dwarves and tau are stuck on a planet under pressure of a tyranid attack.(functionally the same scenario as OP.

tl;dr
Orks would ruin it, they can't live without war.
Renewed Contact with the Imperium would ruin it, Imperium would consider them Heretics.
Contact with other Craftworlds would ruin it, being "friends" with lesser races? Disgusting.
Contact with other Dynasties, where the Necrons didn't claim them as vassals would ruin it. Nobody would respect them.
Contact with the Tau? Either assimilate back into the Empire, or get wiped out.
>>
Orks are fine, they can fight the deamons all day everyday. The problem is we can't let them keep fighting the deamons cause than we will be over ran by orks. since they die and drop spores and we are here for ages.

necrons are fine if they have an actual leader that can still talk. otherwise they have to die cause they wont give a shit about us and even if they can talk they still wont give a shit.

eldar may support this as having an openminded section of the imperium no matter how small is sure to be useful.

tau are cool with it cause tau like new friends.

space marines wont give a shit about us, but will probably need to keep killing deamons before the orks kill deamons to stop us from being overrun by orks.

if the inquisition is smart all is good for the rest of the imps.but if they want xenos dead than they could be just a big risk. but we need them since they will control everyone else

>Orks would ruin it, they can't live without war.
They would probably never join the alliance, being wiped out by either the endless Daemons or the Alliance. Or wiping out everyone because they're hard to exterminate.
>Renewed Contact with the Imperium would ruin it, Imperium would consider them Heretics.
Set it in the Dark Imperium and they'd probably never face retribution.
>Contact with other Craftworlds would ruin it, being "friends" with lesser races? Disgusting.
Not sure if contempt is enough to threaten an alliance so old even Eldar might not remember what a Craftworld is (immortality doesn't matter in the face of attrition).
>Contact with other Dynasties, where the Necrons didn't claim them as vassals would ruin it. Nobody would respect them.
I would have gone with Necrons just leaving the planet without FTL since time doesn't really matter to them.
>Contact with the Tau? Either assimilate back into the Empire, or get wiped out.
Lost Fourth Expansion fleet wouldn't be able to contact the main empire, then they'd be forced to make their own decisions.

They'd be disgusted as a matter of dogma, but a great deal of their higher echelons are pragmatists to a fault. If they thought an alliance would save their multi-millennia-spanning hides, they'd go for it.
