I come to you, /tg/, to ask about your experiences with any of the versions of the Cortex RPG.
I know there's
* Cortex Classic (more standardized)
* Cortex Plus (more like FATE or FUDGE?)
* Cortex Prime (containing both and rules to do them)

Anyone have any good experience with Cortex? I'd like to get peoples' opinions. We're looking for something to run a Blade-inspired game, and we are kinda WoD'ed out.

So I've been reading and it seems like there's a consistency of step up/step back. Has anyone found the Classic Cortex to be swingy in its dice implementation?

I've only ever played the Serenity RPG but I found it to be passable enough.
