Bout to have my first session of a pnp this friday and it is going to be on a podcast. Anyone have any tips for a first time player or for someone who is going to be recorded playing? BTW, its online

Don't worry about it? If the podcaster has any special request, they'll ask (no cursing, etc). You're playing online with presumably a handle. You're as anonymous as you are here for the most part, m8.

I also have never played a pnp ever. Got any advice for that?
Don't laugh too loudly into the mike. Also don't munch food or slurp drinks during the show, it's super fucking annoying to the listener.

I'll mute my mike when I eat then

Are you familiar with acting or theater in any way. Do you think you'll be able to get into character? How much do you know about how all this works? I don't want to baby you if it's not necessary.

I took some drama and I know how to get into character. One thing I am scared of though is that I won't be able to get into the mindset of someone from the source material
One thing: Dont play a caster.
In general dont play anything complicated. If this is one of the few games where casters are the simplest to play, then you can of course play it.

It's a jojo rpg, so it a given that I am a caster

Then shit dog, you struck gold.
IF you're OP just go nuts, make a ton of 80's references and make sure you're token wouldn't be out of place at a Chippendale's. No one is expecting acting gold, you'll be fine.

You can join, if you have a plebbit account. We are 90% sure 2 players bailed, leaving us with a 4 man cast, so we would welcome you

That sounds like an awful idea to recruit people from here. Which means I obviously want in on this.
