I need help. I have only lost one game ever at my flgs, and I play every week. I'm not trying to say I'M THE BEST 40K MANS EVER ALIVE, just that my opponents do baffling things. I played a Shadow War campaign and I was undefeated, and by the end the other players were becoming frustrated and saying things to each other like "why does it even matter if we play, anon is going to win."

I try hard not to be that guy. I play CSM, which I thought wasn't really that great? My lists are mostly a lot of raptors with some terminators. I like to throw a tough Daemon Prince in, but honestly I do not consider my lists cheesy at all.

What the fuck do I do here?

I assume hitting on a 4+ because movement will be necessary in most situations. You're looking at killing about 10 conscripts in a round of shooting with it, costing 16 points a wound. For reference, most troop units are about 8-12 points a wound, and survive better against the return fire, which you will be in range of, because 24".

Against ork boyz, and brimstone horrors (which IIRC have no armor save), I think it gets more efficient.

It was previously stated that the warpstorms never lasted long in the same place, in fact most of them only lasted a few hours. Still, many worlds were burned to the ground.

We don't know how much the fight lasted, casualties inflicted, anything. We can't possibly tell who would've been the victor with so little information, and really any fan 'conclusion' is just speculation until GW specifically says who won.

More than often you get the chance to say, "had you opted to attack my unit X with your unit Y, you probably would have won the left flank". Its an eye-opener for both you and your opponent. It also helps if you have some hard facts, to tackle all unnecessary "Its OP" comments. How many lazcannons does it takes for instance to take down a DP? Or how much average firepower you can put out with one of your units in comparison to a vanilla space marine unit. It helps to tone down the mood of angry players, and also dumb down their arguments.

Well the hemlocks have smite and 2x d3 auto hits at S10 -4 D2 and a neat -1 to enemy leadership bubble
The Crimson hunters have 2 S8 -4 Dd6 and 2x 1 S8 -3 D3 shots that reroll against flyers
And the Razor wings have 2x 3 S5 -3 D2, a 36" Rapid fire 3 4+poison -0 D1, and 6 2+poison -0 D1 each. So I'm confident I can delete most units fairly effectively.

Really tired of this shit, when i always go second because i have more units. He destroyed hydra and leman turn one with 2 ravagers and won by the first blood. We both slayed warlord, both had 2 points and line breaker.
I used some new FW stuff. 2 cyclope demo tanks killed kronos and urien rakarth. Hades drill almost killed one ravager and delivered melta vets.

Valhalla is frozen shit. Armageddon is forever war. Cadia was the gate to literal hell, and Krieg is post WW3, same as Tallarn.
The only regiment that gets on the level of those shit holes is Vostroya, which doesn't seem like a too bad place to live. Except it's cold too and I dislike that.

I need help deciding /40kg/...

I have a DE army as follows:

1 Archon
10x Kabalites
10x Kabalite Trueborn
10x Wyches
5x Incubi
5x Scourges
6x Reaver Jetbikes
1 Venom
2 Raiders

What should I get next? Either

Gangs of Commoragh because its so good value, I hear Hellions are actually good now and having lots of reaver is also a plus. However they're not what I would pick out of pure modelling interest as I'm bored of painting reavers.

Secondly some Haemonculus stuff, was thinking wracks and haemonculus for second hq and a raider for them.

Thirdly was going to get two more venoms to field all my current infantry on a flying transport.

Any advice?

Think it's a bad idea to jump into a non-Primaris/DG faction right now?
I don't want to buy a bunch of shit and then find out it's all being replaced by newer, shinier models.

but no, non-primaris factions are just fine. Even manlet marines are not going to go away soon, since they have more than 25 years of legacy. I don't know how accurate the info is, but I heard once that in the US, every 3rd kit GW sells is a Tactical Squad, but if that is anywhere close to true GW would be foolish to throw that away.

Even if GW were to stop producing regular marines today, you would still see kits and spare parts on ebay for years.

I went to a 1250 point tourney recently and I had a decent amount of success with a Battlewagon loaded up with shoota boyz. The wagon itself had a kannon and 3 big shootas, and on its own was able to do ok damage; enough that it was definitely contributing but because of how tanky it is my opponent would have to either really focus it down otherwise it would barely degrade, if at all. The boyz also had 2 rokkit launchas and they were pretty good at punching above their weight in the shooting by stripping wounds from tougher units with the rokkits sometimes targeting some vehicle elsewhere or helping out their mates.I got lucky on one occasion where all 20 of the boyz survived into the charge so they got their +1 attack buff. Deffinately glad I purchased the Battlewagon at the tail end of 7th, the shear amount of firepower it can weather was impressive.

they're regular dudes born in a real shitty place , on none of these worlds people are given a complimentary lasgun upon birth, they grow up in literal shit and at one point during early adulthood they get selected, or volunteer for PDF/the imperial tithe
