What do I need to read besides the 5e Sword Coast Adventure's Guide to understand the Forgotten Realms well enough to run a game there?

I played BG2 back in the day so I sort of understand Amn.

Read the original AD&D campaign guide instead, then a couple more books related to the specific place you're setting it to.

Back in those days Forgotten Realms wasn't yet completely and unanimously trash.
