Because I'm a fucked up person who was a fucked up youth who got his first friend in 4th grade. That friend took me to a LAN center to play video games where we eventually started saying magic, and the people playing magic also played DnD. I continue to play tg because it makes me feel like I'm being a part of something even though I'm mostly just drifting.

I got into it when this girl I know took me out to this board game group. we played D&D as well. They're fun.
