You know the drill, before we get started, roll a 1d100 to see which Chaos God our Regiment is devoted to.
>>
Let's get this ball rolling.
>>
>>53966666

goddamnit wrong field
>>
>>53966666

Checked. It goes in the Options field.
>>
Rolled 45 (1d100)

>>53966686
>>
>>53966716

Our Regiment follows Nurgle! All hail the Plaguefather!

Roll 1d10 for Regiment origin!
>>
Rolled 9 (1d10)

>>53966743
>>
>>53967033

> Militia/Cultist: Average Citizens taken to training and arming themselves for the glory of Chaos!

Roll 1d100 for Regiment Demographic!
>>
Rolled 69 (1d100)

>>53967105
>>
>>53967140

> Vat-grown: No families to complain, no friends to consider, much easier to devote themselves to Chaos!

Vat-grown nurglite militia? Interesting...

Roll 1d10 for Nature of Recruitment!
>>
Rolled 10 (1d10)

>>53967248

I'm thinking they use human wave tactics, fueled by nihilist despair.
>>
>>53967610

> Standard conscription: Average or above-average citizens recruited from all levels of society. (If All-Male, All-Female, Firstborn, or Lottery was rolled on the demographic table, you may select this by default)

Roll 1d100 for Regiment Homeworld!
>>
>>53967691
>>
>vat-grown non-military people
>conscripted into a militia
>dedicated to Nurgle

Which makes you wonder, what sort of civillian job is important enough to vat-grow people, but would still give enough warm bodies to conscript a militia from?
>>
Rolled 62 (1d100)

>>53967691
>>53967925

Hmm, maybe mining some poisonous material in mass quarries. It's sophisticated enough human hands are needed, but dangerous enough real people can't be risked.
>>
>>53967925
>Which makes you wonder, what sort of civillian job is important enough to vat-grow people, but would still give enough warm bodies to conscript a militia from?

Sounds like a heretech plan.
"we get all the nurgle putrid juices and put them in a vat, then we throw a guy in there and see what happens!"

Kinda like what happens if you throw a body bag into the biovats in Evil Genius the game.
>>
>>53968022

> Imperial World: Once from among devout citizens, loyal to the Imperium and raised by the Creed!

Maybe their Homeworld has been recently corrupted? Roll 1d100 for Homeworld Terrain!
>>
Rolled 78 (1d100)

>>53968188
>>
>>53968188
LoL Everyone fucked off, this thread is MINE.
>>
>>53968658

> Urban: Good soldiers, once you get the cityboy out of the city.

I'm thinking there's a lot of ruins on the planet. Roll 1d100 for Regimental Core Units!
>>
Rolled 75 (1d100)

>>53969110

Maybe their planet was hit by some sort of disaster, be it nukes, bioweapons, or some kind of extreme pollution, that made it unlivable in the long term for the people on the planet.
Maybe life expectance has dropped to 20 or so years, maybe it's so radioactive that everyone is iether shooting blanks or only making horrible mutants, or maybe everyone catches super-leprosy from the air and their dangly bits turn black and fall off. Whatever the problem is, the elites of the planet (who can insulate themselves from whatever it is, together with the PDF that have proper hazmat gear and training) turn to vat-grown humans to maintain a working population. Of course, their lives a re still horrific, painful and short, but who cares, we can make more, fully grown and with all neccesary skills implanted. Which is the ideal soil for Nurgle's cults to take root, of course.
>>
>>53970255

> Drop!

So these untrained vat-spawn are shot into battle via orbital drop-pods? Neat.

Roll 1d10 for Regiment Specialty!
>>
Rolled 5 (1d10)

>>53970394

Or they just jump out the back of perfectly good flyers in the hope their grav-chutes slowing them down before they crash against the ground. During this they are a sitting (well, falling) duck for enemy fire, and once they hit the ground they need to survive with very little supppies in the middle of enemy lines.

Fortunately, the Nurglite approach to death is "meh, whatever. When it happens it happens".
>>
>>53970507

> Trench Warfare!

I'm not sure how to reconcile that with the drop strategy, but we can make it work. Nurglite paratroopers is a clever take on that concept. Roll 1d10 for Loyalty Rating!
>>
>>53966666
>>53966743
After all those 6s i really think we should have defaulted to Slaanesh
>>
>>53970579
Drop in then dig in survive off of anything they dig up or catch around the drop/trench camp.
>>
Rolled 7 (1d10)

>>53970579

Maybe the static parts of the army keep the enemy in place using their trenches and other defences, while the paratroopers drop in behind them?
>>
What if the standard conscription is just them being plucked from vats? No real in between as far as life cycle goes

>>53970579
The 82nd Airborne Infantry was founded in WWI

Tactically insert behind enemy lines then dig in, or even better clear out and seize existing emplacements. Annoying as fuck to fight
>>
>>53970605

Hmm, maybe, but we've gone too far to turn back now.

>>53970606
>>53970619

I like both of these.

>>53970619

> Undisciplined: Will follow the Gods, but don't expect them to bow to authority figures!

Roll 1d100 for Special Equipment!
>>
>>53970760

That was me, forgot to fill in the name slot.
>>
>>53970606
>>53970699
These
>>
>>53970699
even small forces of paratroopers can cause insane amounts of havoc in a trench netowrk if they came in from the "wrong" side. That is where all the commanding officers, artillery and supplies are located, and enemy resistance is pretty limited considering most troops are needed too man the trench lines near the front.
>>
>>53970760
Let's hope it's something that makes sense...
>>
Rolled 65 (1d100)

>>53970760
>>53970857
derp
>>
>>53970878

> Augmented Troops!

Fitting enough I suppose. Roll 1d100 for the Regiment Creed!
>>
Rolled 58 (1d100)

>>53970921
I...I guess their bodies have trouble accepting the augments or something? Doesn't seem very nurgle-like.
>>
>>53970921

Well, they are grown in vats anyway, might as well stick in some extra upgrades whille you're on that.
>>
>>53970966

Or maybe they've been mutated or cybernetically enhanced?

>>53970966

> For the Dark Gods: They believe in the Word of Chaos as their gospel, and see it as their holiest endeavor to spread that Word with the flames!

Roll 1d100 for Allies!
>>
>>53971012
That one seems contradictory with >>53970760
>>
>>53970966
What?

That doesn't make sense at all, all these rolls flow together pretty nicely. They're basically Astartes Lite
>>
Rolled 69 (1d100)

>>53971060
Maybe they just care about spreading the good word more than they care about following orders?

>>53971012
>>
>>53971086
I can see that, although I would personally want to stray away from the religious angle. Seems more Word Bearer-y than Death Guard-ish
>>
>>53971060

It's Chaos, zealots tend to be chaotic.

>>53971086

> Specific group of Chaos/renegade mortals (renegade/corrupted Lost and the Damned regiments, anti-Imperium rebels, clan of tribals, corrupted mutants, mercenary bands, pirate gangs....etc)

Roll 1d100 for Enemies!

Rolled 76 (1d100)

>>53971160
Looks like no-one else is rolling...
>>
>>53971012
>>53971005
>>53970966

Guys guys, bionic augments arnt always non biological. Think of vat grown muscle. Clues in the name.
>>
>>53971327

> The Imperium of Man (choose an institution or a specific leader or faction from that institution)

Roll 1d100 to see which Imperial Organization opposes us!

check em

Rolled 1 (1d100)

>>53972301
>>
You know, I just realized something.
We're fucking chaos Death Korps.
This'll be interesting.
>>
>>53973593
Seriously. Kreigers without training wheels

And Airborne
>>
Bump beakies!
>>
>>53973131

> Administratum

We're enemies with the Imperial Administratum! I wonder how that happened. Say what you will, they are not to be underestimated.

The evil RED TAPE!!
>>
>>53977427
>FUCK your supply train
>FUCK your archive planet
>FUCK your Administratorium Magi
>FUCK your ledgers
>FUCK your tithe counts

Whoever runs these nasty fuckers knows that to wound the Imperium, you have to hit them where it hurts, in the Logistical crotch. It's hard enough keeping track of a galaxywide space empire WITHOUT a gaggle of insane genemodded, testube knuckledraggers going out of their way to fuck with your numbers
