If you had to design a plant a prey animal to feed on it and a predator animal to feed on it.
For either a world thats 99% water with extremely lush mini islands and large cavernous caves.
A world that shifts from a total ice age for 6 months of the year cycle and then a hellish scorched earth for the other 6 or a world completely made of flesh and organs similar to a human body. What would they be like?
If you have any different environments or scenarios go ahead.

a world thats 99% water is obviously gonna have extremely diverse sea life, life on the islands, depending on how small and far apart they are, is goping to be extremely niche and may be unlike anything else on the planet
a planet that shifts between extremes like that every season would probably have seasonal animals that choose to hybernate during their off seasons, digging deep into the ground to escape the elements and emerging in their preferred climate.

a flesh would is gonna be pretty alien, but I imagine life on that would exist in a similar manner to creatures that live on/in flesh here, parasitically, likely feeding on the endless supply of blood and flesh under their feet. there'd be almost no point to predation. Though the logistics on how a flesh planet would work are pretty questionable. Does it itself need to eat?

The flesh planet recycles any dead matter that isn't consumed by the other creatures into new life or landmass.

The Water World's Cave Systems have main entrances that descend down below the seabed and run all across the planet.
and the radical shift planet has it happen on a instantaneous level.

>Water World
Okay, quick phonepost.

>Plant
This brightly hued plant resembles a flattened flower with large leaves. The entire plant usually ranges between 10 and 30 feet across, and grows deep roots into sandy soil. These plants have very sticky seeds that grab onto an animal's hide, letting them spread along migration paths.

>Prey
The "Sail-Fish" is an herbivorous amphibious mammal. It roughly resembles a cephalopod's body, but with huge, translucent wings in place of tentacles. These sail fish can fold up their wings in order to use them as legs. They drift on wind currents normally, drifting down to land only to feed and give birth.

>Predator
The "Dragon Shark" is a deadly predator. It appears similar to a plesiosaur in rough dimensions, though with a far longer neck, nearly three times the length of the rest of their body. Dragon Sharks can "leap" hundreds of feet into the air, allowing them to hunt even airborne prey.

water world would have floating mats of lilypad-like organisms that can stretch for miles, with hanging roots that absorb nutrients from the water. Many of these root arrays house aquatic arachnids that hunt the small fish that eat the roots. These arachnids build small nests on top of the pads.

There are massive omnivores that feed on the lilypads. Instead of eating the edges of the pads, the animal will eat a line through the large mats, allowing for the pads to separate and spread.

Wouldn't life be less present overall in a water world? most of sea life is roughly near the coasts and most of the deep sea is deserts.

waters could be mostly shallow
something more like a lagoon world

Yo why is Nemo Ramjet so obsessed with penises?
>>
>>53971812
I don't know, but it might just be that a lot of organic shapes just happen to look like penises. Like, if someone had never seen a snake before they would be aghast that a lizard had just up and turned into a penis. Imagine if the first snake they saw was a spitting cobra
