My favorite block is actually Portal: Second Age. It's basic and simple as fuck, but I loved the setting.

I actually really miss the art from back then. The photorealistic stuff we get these days might be "better" from a technical standpoint, but I preferred the older, more "comic-esque" stuff.

All the digital art we get is. . . ok but boring fast. I really like the art from OG Mirrodin up to Shadowmoor, before digital began popping up more and more. Of course, there are plenty of vintage cards that are gorgeous.
