This is all about holding the line and protecting mankind, by providing food and having an innate danger sense I'll be able to alleviate a bit of the stress and horror. Ill suited for rapid deployment obviously, but such is the life of civilian protection. The mixture of food supplies, medical supplies and protecting your kinsmen should be more than enough to keep moral in top condition.

Between my undead physiology, my magical rockets, and self-repairing armor, I'm mostly self sustaining. Note that even though I SAID that this was the only build that accomplishes this, the only completely non-negotiable parts are the mystery box and neon. You DO need a way to get otherwise uninterested girls into the sack, best girls for this are Cinder, Pyrrha, and May. The other girl should be one that fulfills one of the previous 3 goals. I went with Raven, because I believe following through is the most important thing, but you could easily double up on getting getting girls in the sack instead.

I was a orphan adopted by Lunestier groundskeeper. A teacher saw that I have strong innate magical skills. So I got accepted in the prestigious magical school.

Hopefully with my summoning magic and tactics I can basically become a general of my own magic army and I can use arcane magic to protect myself and support my army. After graduation my friends and I can go on quests to find treasures and lost knowledge and help protect peasants and kingdoms. After I become stronger, I can take over a old castle as base and start small Queendom of magical creatures summoned from the different planes. Then become a famous mercenary company and have my magic army help settle conflicts in exchange for extravagant gifts and titles.

Eventually have more titles than all those pompous spoiled students at school who wouldn't except me because I'm "poor" and "low class".

Think about it anons, I have shield, which makes me nigh invincible already. Then I have natural, weightless, regenerating heavy power armor, boosting my defense and my power immensely while also not limiting my speed. I've got my rocks and my magical machine guns to attack from long distances, and my swords, axes, fists, and daggers to attack up close. I'm gonna be almost unkillable, even if they get past my naturally regenerating armor, I regenerate myself and can take most beatings without a scratch.

Hey, thanks for discussing this! Yeah, I based it off of one of the choices of this CYOA, which upon reflection, doesn't include any form of memory death at all. As the CYOA I based it off of had this whole world be made as the result of a choice, I did the same by making this like something you chose for yourself. But I figured having memories of a life you gave up and the fact that you're responsibile for the results of the mystery box and for the entire world being the way it is would be kinda weird/difficult to cope with, so it sort of gradually pulls away your memories of your old life as you replace them with memories of your new one.

I'll certainly provide a set of options, and maybe change up the beginning a bit so it's there right away, so the whole memory death can be avoided or made less dramatic if you'd like. Feel free to assume this is the case until I can remake it with that in there.

I'm not calling it a Persona CYOA however, because I'd like to feel as though I've put enough options to allow you to come up with something more unique if you'd prefer, and because I don't want people to feel like they have to have played or know about the Persona series to enjoy the CYOA.

It's heavily inspired by and I've made it a point to reference the Persona series a lot throughout, because I really love the games, and it's really the only 'Highschool JRPG' type of game I've ever played.

My parents were famous explorers, but taking there young son with them on an expedition proved irresponsible since they both died through a monster attack, leaving Saru to survive in the wild. Two months later I am rescued by an adventeurer from St. Flare who is impressed that I've managed to survive on my own, recommending me to the academy in which I am accepted into a few years later.

With my dream being to explore the unmapped regions of the globe perfecting my survival skills and occasionally skipping classes to go hunting for monsters becomes normal, but it alienates me from many of my peers.
Being one of the few to match Kengen we become friends quickly and develope a rivalry with duels happening regularly. While Kengen started out as the stronger one with time I can surpass him, not through sheer power, of which Kengen has more, but by developing a erratic, nigh-unpredictable hybrid style, fusing various forms of Blue Magic, martial arts and weapons such as daggers and the machete-like sword I have inherited from my father. Through the healing sessions after duels Eloise becomes extremely attached to Kengen, the poor guy, although he eventually warms up to her and they get married. Crale Edwards comes along on my journeys, feeling trapped by the societal norms at home and over the course of many adventures we fall in love. I end up as king of a tribe we discover and lead the men against the demons.

Yeah, I was planning on adding some things like school clubs and detailed companions, but I ran out of steam before I got to all of that and just skipped to the ending details. I'm thinking of adding more to it later, if people like the idea and if I can get some inspiration for what to add in, but right now it's really just a skeleton for the cyoa it's inspired by, to sort of iron out and inspire some details of exactly how the choice of that cyoa work.

Hercules Fingers went from x3 to x5 healing rate. Lion's Pride went from x5 to x10 healing rate. Stackable, so now x15 if combined.

changed Stone Cloak from on/off invulernability to a sliding scale with a speed penalty. it's probably the trickiest to use but very effective against certain types.

I have no skill or interest in image editing. Like, trying to figure out which text I should bold or underline or italicize, and making the title words not spaced too far apart... I hate it. I just wanna type and be done with it! I know you need to break up text, and add little details to help people scroll through it, but trying to find images that resemble what I'm looking for, and getting them to fit around all the text, and whatever stylistic choices I'd want for the text as well...

I was thinking like, to start with. If the ability to survive combat situations with just it comes after the expectation to do so, then that's not very useful.

Like, consider this hypothetical - I see someone getting mugged and raped by men with guns. If I do nothing, that's cowardly, and the blade may leave me before I can use it to its full extent. If I intervene with just the sword, they probably shoot me. It seems that the sword makes my life worse and less likely to be useful to society, not better.
