Has anyone actually played this yet? It looked kind of cool so I backed it a while ago, and I just got an email with the final version of the handbook and some other goodies. I want to try it out but I feel as if I didn't have a bunch of friends to play it with, it would be awkward/I'd look like a furry.
Thoughts?
Just take the knot already furfag

I saw that, but couldn't justify buying into another Kickstarter considering I still haven't used this one yet.
backed it mostly because they said "if enough people back Pugmire we will do a cat book"
and I want the cat book (and backed it)

Looks cool.
If idiots don't remember how awesome redwall was, that's their loss.

Redwall? Can you elaborate?

Pic related, a series of low-fantasy books about heroic small animals in a medieval world.
Game looks cool, I will have to check it out.

Redwall is a series of fantasy children's novels set in a world of anthropomorphic animals written by the late Brian Jacques.

>children's novels
Are they still worth a read? I've been meaning to get back into fantasy books for inspiration.

Looks more like board game than a rpg?

I recently went back to them and they're not BAD. But they are very formulaic in a very immediately apparently way-- there are certain scenes that will come up, certain arcs you can anticipate happening.
But the feast-scenes are fucking GREAT. Jacques grew up during WW2 rationing and so descriptions of delicious food is a mainstay in his writing. You will want to try these foods. They're great.
I'd say give 'em a go but don't expect to have your mind blown unless you're much younger than you should be on this board.

It's a crowdfunded TTRPG, with standard chargen and fairly vanilla classes, though they've put a bit of a spin on them to fit the narrative.
