Only real problem I see with this team is that all of them except Illaria and maybe Varius are very internally contemplative, they don't have loud personalities, which means the campaign may drag at points when there is nothing obvious and dramatic to engage them. This is also probably why they arent memes, aside from Rae and Illaria who may just be too new to have caught their memestride without celebrity names.

But it's a damn story. Stories are in the past tense. DIALOGUE within the story will obviously be present tense between characters that, at those moments in time, are presently interacting with one another, but everything else should logically be past tense.

Bloatmage, for example, is a direct progression to any full casting class.

On the other hand, Eldritch Knight gives you very little bang for your buck compared to going Magus or just staying as a Full Caster. And Champion of Irori requires you to multiclass, restrict yourself to both multiple codes of conduct and a very specific alignment, and only really offers you the ability to make the two classes you chose stack rather than giving you anything worth stepping out of either class.

My mascot NPC (Half-Elf Magus of middling nobility) is generally an easygoing fellow, but he's not afraid to taking a life if it saves others. He's the kind of person who would rather kill the bad guy than work together with them. He's too idealistic, naive, and hot-headed.

The NPC I have running with the party now (Orc-Bloodline Hobgoblin Sorcerer, in personal exile from his troop) is VERY pragmatic. He values his own life above all other things, but the party's lives are a close second. The harsh nature of his ethnic culture (and his own personal upbringings), have left him with a very matter-of-fact view on killing.

I was thinking of something like that for a sci-fi bow and arrow user I was thinking about. Basically you'd have special Hawkeye style arrows that can be loaded up with special chemical payloads and used in various ways.

You could use your arrow filled with alchemist fire and inject napalm into the target but you could also fire it up and have it land on a spot in the ground and create hazardous terrain in the form of a conflagration centered around the arrow.

Similarly if you have an arrow that had a capacitor in it and the enemy is in a puddle of water you could make them dance the dance of death or take the cryo arrow and freeze their feet in place while also making the ground slippery for anyone else coming through.

Well, they can come to an arrangement. The party's off-limits, but any hostile Nightwalkers are a-okay. As for the reason to adventure, it also relates back to the Nightwalker phenomenon. He wants to do ALCHEMY! but he also wants to find a way to cure the condition, because he is scared of the idea of falling prey to corruption and generally losing himself to circumstances beyond his control.

I can see it now:

Rokar was raised in human society; he was an intellectual, a genius, a man who could have been destined for greatness. If only he had been born human; even in a relatively progressive society like Lote, there's no place in higher education for a goblin. Thus, he was forced underground; stuck scraping and scrabbling for whatever supplies filtered down from the "real" college. He got by leaning on his brother, mooching off his earnings; but this life wasn't enough for the goblin!

Bardem found himself in a much similar situation. Being raised by an awakened lobster and a 3 halflings in a trenchcoat (at least that's what I assume, since there's no mention of his family), played merry hell on the young boy's view of societal norms. He grew up strange and shunned by his fellow classmates, and lonely. So very, lonely. He spent long hours alone, unwilling to return to a home filled with the sound of his father's drunken chittering, and his mother's myriad of voices screaming at him to get a job; the only respite was the library. The dark, dusty, and cool sections in the very back where he could catch a brief moments of sleep. Though every time he slept, a creature lurked at the edge of his dreams; a monstrous crab-like creature, all claws and spines. The first time he saw it, Bardem assumed it was some sort of monster, a creature come to consume him. He fought back, he ran, he hid. None mattered. The creature always found him. Until, after a particularly savage clawing for knocking over a bottle of whiskey, Bardem approached it; praying it would kill him. Instead it offered a hand in sympathy and friendship. Turning to magic was the boy's only option to make his friend real; and with it, bring about a better future.

When Bardem and Rokar heard the call for heroes, they both leapt at the chance. A chance to prove that there was something beneath the surface for both of them, that ugly people could be heroes too!

Unfortunately they were soundly rejected, in favor of numerous "beautiful" people. The kind of people they write stories about. Not goblins, and weirdos with pet crab monsters. The defeat stung, and the two found themselves in the same bar drowning their sorrows, and loudly cursing elves, aasimars, and paladins.

The fight started almost immediately, it seemed some of the people the pair were slagging off had very vocal and devoted fanbases. Fans who didn't take kindly to having their "pure elf hitler waifu" called out for being a cheap harlot. It was during the brawl when their eyes briefly met from across the smokey bar. Moments before a chair was smashed over Bardem's head, and Rokar was thrown through a window. But those moments were long enough; they were in love.

The pair came to in the alley out by the dumpster. Beaten, and bloody, but alive and filled with passion. They made love for the first time back there in that filthy alley, their cries of pleasure echoing against the grimy brickwork. Bathing in the after glow, the pair contemplated what to do next.

In the years that followed, both claimed the other had the idea, but in truth neither of them remembered who said it.

"Fuck the princess. We ugly people can be heroes all on our own."

The man gazed deeply into the goblin's eyes, and they both knew it was true.

Not that either of them would every get near the princess.

Today I finished out the 4 Skirt School styles -- 4 sets of styles each with 4 feats, all focused on wearing short skirts! It's like 4 for the price of one request!

Body Contact Style focuses on getting real personal with your allies and enemies, while Falling Star Style focuses on Leaping and Jumping... Then coming down hard on your enemies!

Brazen Stiletto Style can grapple enemies and crush them between your powerful legs, while Flash kick style bounces between their extreme speed and power style, and the 'enraged' Exposed state that alters your feats!

Additionally, for our strumpets who want to kick things: Thigh-high boots and High heels; weapons that can improve your unarmed strikes with weapon enhancements; without the need for a pricey Amulet of Mighty Fists.

You can check out the styles in the above document, as well as all the previous homebrew requests!
