Why do Chaos Warriors, fitted in full plate chaos armour, go down like mooks when things get bloody?

Well I go for red and blue. Its simple really, just put some mix of green in their skin colour to give it a bit of a more pronounced look.

A simple example would be your main team colour (purple) for the armour pieces, metallic or silver for the protective padding or vests, your second team colour for their regular shirts (grey) and their skin colour (green).

If anything Goblins can have a really good selection of colour schemes.

Str 5 still means the other average team will need at least a 3v1 situation to get a two dice block, and chaos warriors can in most cases easily dispatch enough players to let you have a 3 dice block without blitzing, especially after you give guard to two of them
about the 1 in 6 eventuality that he doesn't do shit it's a problem for all big guys, but at least he doesn't lose his tackle zone like trolls or ogres

Is he terrible? no, but he aint good. Use him if you want. tally up how many game he wins for you vs how man he loses.

People won't be staying in his tackle zones to give him blocks if they can avoid it. And if he ever goes down he'll have a hard time standing up without a blitz.

He's not useless, but he needs help to be good. The better Big Guys tend to be fine as they are, which simply makes them better.

Having used a minotaur a lot, I can say they both suck and are amazing. 3d blitzes 5/6 times and crowd surf potential is huge and yes with the right support and low WA he is great. Get claw early and he is a beast....ideally.

Some cases the ideal happens. Other times not so. As a statting chaos team wuth mino its pretty distressing if the mino gets belted and either gets depitched for his troubles or, if mid scrum, trying to rescue him and hope he doesnt have a tantrum and get up.

However they tend to live fast and die hard (and fast). They tend to fall into two categories.

1. Minos will either be utter murder machines who will invariably die quickly in the front lines with opponents realizing just how dangerous he is. Gets a level up in first 2 to 3 games, gets claw and slays dozens. Will die or be crippled quickly. Ocassionally with a blessing of Nuffle will live longer to become even more of a death machine.

2. Fails to get injuries, stuck at level 1, gets gang banged and will spend half a drive refusing to get up. Will either be fired by coach or mercillesly sacrificed as scrm fodder.

Which team is the best at soaking up and dishing out damage? I've never been great at movement-based shenanigans in games, so I figure that's the best approach for me in BB. I'm guessing Orcs?

Claw is pretty bad against AV 8 on its own. But since it has such good synergy with Mighty Blow, you really want to take it if at all possible.

On FUMBBL this is entirely up to you and a solo affair, it's not like real life where you make your advancement rolls with your opponent watching after your post-game. So do it straight away like I generally do, or if you want to be scabby, wait until the next round is drawn and pick Tackle because you've got Elves next.

The heads are a separate piece with a little chunk of plastic that the torso halves close around so the head is held in place. There is a gap left in the torso that runs all the way through if you leave the head out, but you could likely pin the heads you're looking at there and glue it into one of the torso halves to make sure it stays firm.

All I can remember is concessions by people who immediately and publicly quit the league afterwards (and then Mauled banned them permanently for being little shits and not sticking to their commitment), and that's the only reason I can see the two being related.

it was taking several minutes for things to actually get through both to and from his end, meaning his whole turn took place during parts of the second half and I was still looking at the board state from when I ended my turn.

I decided to concede because the game was a forgone conclusion and I didn't want internet connectivity to drag it out and get either of us upset.

Do I take a hit for it? yeah, am I an idiot for doing it? maybe from some perspectives, but I knew I was getting more and more upset having the field change so drastically when as far as I knew he wasn't taking his turn.
