My party mage did similar, waaaaay back. Gave the fomorian bio-troll a robe and oversized wizard hat (with tacky stars and arcane symbols all over it). Then he used illusion spells to hide the metatype/armour/weapons. Then gave the troll the sustaining foci so he glowed like Vegas in the Astral.

And so the legend of SUPLEX-MAGE was born. Able to bench-press cars and snap Knight Errant in half.

Sorry guys I got caught up at work. He tends to make characters that are jokes. For example, the last character he made was a human rouge named "genji" and he built up the expectation that it was going to be a satirical edge-lord that was clearly copying the over-watch character. But when we got into the actual game he just played a normal rouge that happened to be called "genji."

He wants to play a shaman because I made an offhand comment about not wanting anyone to summon an archdemon during their stop at the quiki mart, and figured that a street shaman would be his best bet to summon it.

He doesn't really know anything else about shaman that would make him want to play that archetype.

I'm fine with whatever he plays as long as he is able to enjoy himself, and isn't able to derail games. So if he wants to play shaman that's fine, but he doesn't really seem to have any sort of dedicated character theory other than "fuck with the gm"

A single persona directed by a number of users jacked into a single system, Starved Men appeared every now and then in one of my recent games. We occasionaly used it/them as decking backup, when our codemonkey felt he won't be able to handle something alone. They were usually nice enough, if occasionally creepy, and accepted payments in drone-delivered boxes of faradayed commlinks and drugs.

It's something you build your character around, but it propels you into very high initiative scores (and you could use stuff that gave you init dice with it, right?). It's worth it, especially if DM uses German rules for skilljacks/softs. Add in some nice skillsoft subscription, which allows you to be good at flying stuff/ disarming bombs/ dancing Russian ballet when needed and have fun, as you suddenly become a sammy that's also useful in every single situation.
>>

I'm very sure I'm not treading original ground here, but I'm world-building a shadow organization for a cyberpunk game I'll be running next month. The organization is "many different kinds of wrong" but all steal archetypes and cliches from <DEATH>

ex. I have a female sniper in skull candy face tattoos; I have a face-type character that toes the line between Bella Legosi and Chernabog; I have a legit plague doctor dual pistol (darts).

Anyway I have 3-5 conceptualized, but wanted to see if you guys had any other suggestions or thoughts. I'd like to flesh out a total of 10-12.

the second

>>The heavy pistol from the legendary Urban-Line of the Heckler & Koch house received a facelift and is still the leading handgun on the market if a discreet and hard to trace weapon is needed. The low weight of 900 gram and the compact form of 20 cm length make the weapon practically invisible during strip searches. Its non-metallic components make it invisible to traditional MAD scanners. The Smartgun system was removed to make the Fighter more secure against electronic attacks. At the same time the recoil compensation got an upgrade which allows for more precise firing. The ammunition is fed in sealed form, which makes the ammunition practically invisible to Chemsniffers. No additional accessories can be mounted. The only exception is the specially made silencer, which is also non-metallic.
Standardmods/-accessories: -- Optional accessories: Silencer (Price:1600 €, Avail. 16F)

>The reputation of the Fighter is legendary, even if you don't really see it on the street. But that's obvious. If I had one I'd be too afraid to lose it.
>Konnopke

>By the way: The weapon is only invisible to chemsniffers if the magazine is still sealed and the weapon was cleaned thoroughly. And the standard ammunition is still made of metal...

Yes, but it's gonna cost you. You'll probably need to take Skills B at minimum for the Close Combat skill group.

You might be better off going melee street samurai because adepts get a lot of mileage out of Weapon Foci, and being an improvised weapons guy doesn't lend itself to that. Also you'll want to take a lot of edge, get some skimmers implanted, etc.

STEYR AUG-CSL III
WAFFENSYSTEM

(Another assault rifle that can be turned into a LMG, Carbine and Sniper Rifle)
>>
>>53721879

>>
>>53721879
The Steyr AUG-CSL is slim, purposeful, and adaptable to every situation. It is mainly used by special units and mercenaries who are prepared for everything. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of production in 2078, Steyr Mannlicher presented the latest version. The design has hardly changed, the developers remained conservative. The most important alteration for the new variant is probably the greatly simplified change of the barrel, which means easy and fast maintenance for soldiers in use and allows runners to upgrade a short carbine to an assault rifle in case of emergency.

Standard upgrades/accessories: Laser sight, front-mounted handle (only for armed forces and carbiners), imaging scope and bipod (only for light machine-gunners and snipers).

Note: The Steyr AUG-CSL can not accommodate additional under-mounted upgrades. The various configurations use the range and camouflage modifiers of their respective weapon types. Changing between the carbine and the assault rifle configuration is due to the simple change-over system with Extended Action check using Firearms + Dexterity (5, 1 combat round). The conversion to an LMG or sniper rifle requires more knowledge and time, as well as an Extended Action check of Weaponry + Dexterity [5, 1 minute].

I would recommend against it. I tend to find that at least my for my group they dont like those kinds of things. The story is supposed to be about them not your OC's. Also it doesn't matter what you do, those people will inevitably die like chumps. Save yourself the time and effort and instead flesh out the organization rather then having special dude who the PC's will shoot in the face or ignore before you ever get to go into their backstory.

Speaking from experience.

RUHRMETALL SMK 252
STURMKANONE

>>As the successor of the PJSS 55 is the Modell 75 of the „Produktionsgemeinschaft Jagd- und Sportwaffen Suhl“ (Production group for hunting and sport weapons Suhl) the first choice for the sophisticated sports marksmen and hunters. With a precisely customized burt wood stock, nearly invisible recoil compensators, a Muskin-lined comb, an antibacterial and contact-friendly synthetic leather made from mushroom caps and barrels made with modern techniques, it combines the design of classical hunting elegance from earlier centuries with modern materials and production methods. Aside from the accuracy during intensive usage (and the coinciding temperature increase of the barrel) which was highly praised in the trade press, it also shines through its high user convenience with easy care and sturdy build. Even the base model contains two triggers, so that multiple calibers can be fitted with screw-on barrels. Additionally is a front-shaft mounted targeting system available. Targeted objects are tracked using heat signatures and shown to the shooter using AROs, so that even moving targets can be seen with maximum accuracy. In the M75-III variant the shotgun is shipped with three barrels, which coupled with a bottom mounted barrel extends the choice of caliber even further.

Note: The weapon has two triggers which act on one barrel each. In the model M75-III one of the triggers (after switching a designated switch) acts as the trigger for the third barrel.
Due to the trigger positioning the barrels can be fired simultaneously. The shot counts as a Burst (M75-III) or short Burst (Model M75). Requirement is that all barrels contain the same type of ammunition
>>
>>53720574
If I see it correctly you need to load individual bullets (the (k) probably stands for (kugel))
>>
>>53720574
Oh, and to the barrels
both have two rifle barrels, but the M75-III has an additional shotgun barrel that can be switched to (so either you fire both rifle barrels or one rifle and one shotgun barrel)

RUHRMETALL SMK 252
ASSAULT CANNON
The "Sturmmaschinenkanone" 252 by Ruhrmetall is actually a light cannon that was designed for APCs like the Wolf II. After the Dragon Civil War, but also the use of the MET2000 in Bogotá, the cries for a heavy but portable infantry weapon were increasing, which made several producers start designing such a weapon. Ruhrmetall focused on the wide spread of body modifications of the "natural build" of the soldier (read Orks and Trolls) and modified some of their assault weapons into portable versions. This shoulder-carried version of a 25-mm-cannon has despite its lightweight design still a weight of 60 kg. With its high armor penetration and the large magazine it cancels out that point -- If you manage to get your hands on one
Standard mods/accessories: Extended Clip 1, Long Barrel, Front Grip, Imaging Scope, Bipod

>During design they managed to reduce Recoil as much as possible. Still: After firing one shot your shoulder may hurt like hell. Not a weapon for unexperienced shooters.
>Red Anya

Note: The Ruhrmetall SMK 252 uses Sniper ranges. The longer barrel and the Extended Clip can't be removed. The ammunition storage increases with Extended Clip 2 only by 50%. You can either use Front Grip (mobile, 1 RC) or Bipod (stationary, 2 RC)

From a mechanical perspective, how would a decker go about making a business kiosk or cash register or store divert X percent of their monthly income to them, without the store noticing? Is there a program that does it? A specific action?

Pic related it's my persona
>>
>>53727091
There is a lifestyle for businesses.
>>
>>53727091
Code the kiosk or register to charge an additional 0.0001% of sales tax per transaction, then have a worm reallocate that additional percentage to a dump file and erase the additional from each transaction record before each transaction is logged onto the machine's receipt record. Every month on schedule, the dump file contents get emptied into an account while the worm tells corporate the dump file is empty and erased, then the worm recycles to do it all again next month. The percentage per transaction is so tiny it won't even register on a daily audit.

Mechanics-wise, you'll need to code the worm with some Log + Software, then get access to the machine you're planning to infect and throw some Hacking to get it in there. DM will give you a timetable and difficulties. The clever bit will be coding the worm in such a fashion that it looks like it was always there and is perfectly camouflaged within the software of the machine itself.

Sounds about right. Lotta Sleazework to get that thing in there.
>>
>>53727676

Sounds OK. But I'd also make it so that if anyone gets more hits on perception test than half of what decker had on the spoof while examining the booth, they notice that something is wrong, and if they get more hits than the total of decker's spoof, they can actually find out where did the money go.
>>
>>53719116
>codpiece built into bell bottoms

Every day we stray further from the light
>>
>>53728905
Good luck with that. Since monetary transactions don't register numbers beyond the second decimal, they're not going to have any indication that there's anything wrong to earn a perception test.
>>
>>53728965

Yeah, but there was still some modification to booth's software, so unless your crack was really good, the janitor will eventually find a checksum that's not right. I'd figure that whoever runs such booths needs to take precautions against script kiddies trying to pull off exactly the same thing every now and then.

Besides, I just wouldn't like it to be risk-free for players, and allow PCs some way of finding out who did it if they're the ones looking for Mr Decimal.
>>
>>53729013
You're telling us the corps care enough about their customers to fix a few skimmers charging the customer fractions of creds more while not touching their income?
Unless you go over the top its probably not worth the effort of tracking it down.
>>
>>53729101
A: Fractions of a cent add up.
B: Fractios of a cent add up faster if more people do it.
C: More people will try it unless you make an example of the people you do catch.

Besides, it's not like it costs the corps all that much extra if they're already investing in basic cybersecurity.
>>
Okay, how about this?
1: Find a kiosk where they ask for receipts before the transaction begins
2: If the customer doesn't want a receipt, whole transaction falls off the logs n shit
3: Customer pays normal, gets their stuff normal, but the payment gets wired to me

Obviously this wouldnt work anywhere that has stock to inventory, but say...a parking lot? A toll booth? A bus ticket machine?
>>
>>53729101

It's still profit. Scraps, true, but enough scraps make dinner. They'll probably ignore the hacker, but not the disappearing money.

I suggested this solution mostly because it allows the smart decker more leeway than the obvious and cheapest one - namely running a complete system format and reinstallation using daily-updated data from company's serves.
>>
>>53729251
It doesn't make sense in 2079, when everything is done electronically. There's multiple copies of every transaction logged on both sides.
>>
>>53727091
I watched Ghost in the Shell too!
>>
>>53729263
>>53729191
Its costing the customer not the corp though, The customer is paying Xth percent extra due to 'taxes' and the corp still makes the same money
>>
>>53729639
>He thinks the corps wouldn't want that money for themselves if the customers aren't complaining about the increased price.

>Or that the corps wouldn't kill a hacker to avoid looking weak once customers realize something's up from looking at their bank balance.

Dude. Just accept that you need to stick with mom&pop businesses, or the corps will eventually fuck you.

I'd ask for an extended Software + LOG test with threshold 5 and an interval of a few hours (or days) to craft the exploit beforehand. I might require they survey the system they're trying to exploit first to learn how it works, either by examining it directly or finding specs for it somewhere.

So, my weakest point in character creation: Contacts.

Bonus points for Friends in High Places.
>>
>>53732086
What kind of character are you making?
>>
>>53732086
A fixer is always nice to have. Otherwise: Where do you get your weapons, and your work from?
Otherwise depends on your type of character. A face will have friends in high places, while a ganger has contacts in the slum he's from.

>>53732115

I was talking in general so i have a pool to snag from when I make characters.

Though, I am the guy from above making the Facilitator.

Atleast one bartender or club owner. Everyone drinks somewhere.
atleast one fixer
>>
>>53732251
Have a look at the archetypes and their contacts. After that have a look at the example connections (somewhere around p390).

With each contact decide:
How does having this type of contact help me?
Why would I keep in contact with this contact?
What does the contact expect from me?

Generally: Just pick what you think fits your character.

Some of my favourites:
Fixer (gets you work and stuff in general)
Some seedy politician
Barkeeper/Club Owner (as >>53732307 said)
Gang Boss/Leader
Street Doc
>>
>>53732251

Don't underestimate smugglers or contacts in Lonestar or other police forces either.

Stupid question guys:

How would you guys make a JoJo?

Like, I don't want a Punch Adept or something like that. I want someone, basically, with a spirit that does the fighting for them, but something more personal than just a guy with a dozen spirits or something like that.

Finding some way to get a Ally Spirit seems like the best bet, but that seems like way too much work for an otherwise simple concept.
>>
>>53733594
You...probably don't? JoJo's power level is a bit above what you can get at chargen in 5E, unless you're going Prime Runner.

>Finding some way to get a Ally Spirit seems like the best bet, but that seems like way too much work for an otherwise simple concept.

And it's not building your character around it, unless you do something really stupid like make your character useless without the hypothetical ally - you just build a normal mage and make sure to have Arcana and a decent Logic score so you can make the formula (or are ready to go on a metaplanar quest, depending on tradition and temperament).

Dunno if its worthy of a story time.
We were just sitting in a coffee shop on our second day of entertaining the target. He was smoking his weed while we were keeping an eye out you know. And this is in the center of the town. We have a tail but are generaly relaxed since the mafia owns most of the business and keeps it safe for the sake of milking the tourists. They wont dare pull something to crazy.
And then the tail starts rummaging through her back. Immediately jumps, grab her by the throat and pull whatever she was trying to pull. It was a gas mask.
And then sleep gas everywhere. Put her gas mask on on the spot and scream to the team to book it for the back exit.
Mage throws an ice sheet at the front to stop the guys that are trying to come from the front.
So we are all out, still standing. But somehow in less than 3 seconds the guys at the front have swinged their van are intercepting us at the back alley.
5 people armed with AK jump out and open fire. We? We are armed with light and heavy pistols loaded with stick-n-shock.
So last Initiative pass. I was brought down but got back up with r6 stim patch. Two of them are badly hurt and will almost go down and have around 5 ini or less left. Mage and Face are left to act.
A single lightingball spell will knock at least 2 out and slow the rest enough to not be able to act on the last ini pass.
What does Mage do? Force 12 lighting ball. Not 4 not 6 but 12. In the back alley. Right next to a main street.
The aftermath is where we ended

Right sorry. Its 4 in the morning and I'm half asleep.
I jumped and took her gas mask. The tail entered the coffee shop after us.
We all had gas mask on us but did not expect the 5 AK armed people in the place where it will piss off every single mafia leader

I'm not sure if I just play with kidsgloves, or if it's due to how our players roll, but we tend to mostly get knocked the fuck out as, opposed to dying. I mean, they've only killed guards and HRT by accident, and a few felt bad enough that they attended their funerals and anonymously donated money to the widows the guards left behind, so I kind of play it as they do. Fair's fair, and if they want a nicer 6th world, I'm more than ok with it.

Though if they ever start abusing chunky salsa rules, go murderhobo, or start using spirits as a first instead of a last resort, though, it's fucking on.

So this is a very specific question, but say there's a girl that's carrying twins. I know it's less likely now, but they can be outside of their meta type (like a troll giving birth to an elf, a dwarf having a human, ect) but could one baby be human and the other be an elf, or would those two kids be the same meta type? I had planned on having a character with a very different twin in the form of a paralegal ork while the runner is a dwarf.
And what about awakening, would that be a case by case thing for the kids, or would they both have or have it not due to being twins.
>>
>>53740090
There is no reason why that couldn't happen. Magic in the Sixth World works by a very loose set of "rules".
>>
>>53740090

Easiest question first; Awakening can definately happen to one twin and not the other. It's very case by case.

Now for parentage and races, there's a pretty solid piece on that in Runners Companion p.46;

"Although members of
di erent metatypes are able breed with one another, the child always
expresses only one of the parent’s metatypes—or is born human (as
a result of con icting metagenes suppressing expression)."

As for the twins of different metatypes, I guess you could go for a longshot and go by the fact that there are rare cases of twins being born of completely different apperances by bi-racial parents, where each takes after a different parent. So for example if the parents were an Ork and a Dwarf I'd say it's probably still a rare occurence, but not impossible.
>>
>>53740532

Well copypasting a quote from the PDF fucked it up:

"Although members of diferent metatypes are able to breed with one another, the child always expresses only one of the parent’s metatypes or is born human (as a result of conflicting metagenes suppressing expression)."

Read more of the rules you found. Motion based grenade detonators are a thing, and use standard attack rules.

>>53741919
>Word of Freelancer claims that that line is supposed to be removed.
Word of freelancer is shit, and forgets that grenades aren't always threshold 3 attacks.
>>
>>53742036
Motion Sensors don't make any sense if you use the standard attack rules either. If you're throwing the grenade at one person but two people are in the blast radius, do they both get to make a defence test? If so, what happens if one person's defence test is better than your total hits but the other person's isn't? If you elect to throw the grenade at a specific point rather than at a person, can that person still make a defence test? If not, why would you ever bother trying to throw it at a person?
>>
>>53742171
Yes.
>>
>>53742171
>If you're throwing the grenade at one person but two people are in the blast radius, do they both get to make a defence test?
Thinking too hard. You're targeting a guy. Second guy just happens to be in an explosion, and can Dive For Cover, assuming they're not Surprised.

>If you elect to throw the grenade at a specific point rather than at a person, can that person still make a defence test?
Dive For Cover.
>Note that even stationary or inanimate targets may have a defense dice pool if they have Partial or Good cover.
Someone on the rules team thought about attacking things and places, but probably not the guy writing the grenade detonator rules.
>>
>>53742387
Why is it that people can react to guns being fired at them with no penalty to initiative score, but if someone is throwing a grenade somewhere nearby, the reaction suddenly takes so much longer that you lose initiative?
>>
>>53742644
You have to go further.
>>
>>53742387
>Dive For Cover.
So why would I throw a grenade at a person and potentially have my grenade scatter sideways as a result of their dodge, when I can instead throw it at some bit of terrain that will include them in the blast radius?
>>53742644
You're not reacting to that hit per se, your defence roll is an abstraction of you moving tactically, bobbing and weaving and such. The various initiative actions you can take to increase your defence pool are supposed to represent you focusing on that particular attack.
>>
>>53742644
Dive For Cover puts you behind cover. (funny that) If you're already behind cover, maybe you don't need to dive for cover. Maybe your cover won't save you from the blast, but eh. It's a hypothetical cover, not going to cover all possibilities.

>>53742721
>when I can instead throw it at some bit of terrain that will include them in the blast radius
Presumably, that still counts as attacking the person, because playing weasel words with the GM over what the real target of the attack is ends in the GM's favour.
>>
How inevitable is it for players to turn on their shadowy organization, assuming they are part of a shadowy organization?
I think like 90%, right?
>>
>>53743445
Depends on the shadowy organization and how it treats its people. Generally there needs to be a reason for such disloyalty to be earned, unless whomever's making them the offer is coming to them with literally a deal so sweet it can't be refused.
>>
>>53743615
You know, standard shadowy organization stuff. Money for the loyalty, scary punishments for the disloyal, suspicious medical procedures, vague and sinister plans.
>>
>>53743661
By and large it'll depend on the players and whether or not they think they're getting treated unfairly by said organization. If the organization's been good to them and good for them, they'll put up with some happy horseshit because the pros outweigh the cons in the arrangement. If they've been sold down the river as expendable assets or treated like dirt, odds are the money won't be enough to get them to stick around should they come out of it okay. Also, if they happen to botch a job or something, it could be shadowy organization ridding itself of excess waste, and it not be the players' choice about whether to betray their benefactor or not, because that decision's been made for them.

Only if it's implemented in a way that makes the players uncomfortable.

Like really this isn't hard. As long as you don't make it blatantly obvious your getting off to it or going into uncomfortable detail about whatever it is, it's not magical realm. Just think with your brain not your dick.
>>
>>53744122
Considering that cyborgs, a lot of times with striking and shocking designs, are a core part of all three settings, you'd have to stretch yourself a fair bit to register as magical realm.
You can't call something magical realm if it's supported and intended by the system in a non-sexual way and the GM doesn't make it explicitly sexual or otherwise obvious that he's getting off on it - that means that you're free to put in as many cyborgs as you want as long as they would make sense in-universe. Read up on the culture and rules concerning cybernetics in all three systems, and then follow those rules when you're in doubt.
I don't think you're legitimately worried as much as trying to fan shit, but if you're legitimately worried about coming off as a creep in front of your players, you need to remember that esteemed series, novels and Russian digital artists have done worse before - if we count Armitage III as an esteemed OVA series, you can see how far you need to go to exceed that.

What exactly were you thinking the players would think was magical realm? As long as you don't tie other fetishes into it, tack them only onto characters you find sexy (especially if it breaks setting logic), let your own moral/political opinions seep into your portrayal of the characters and their cybernetics or go into ridiculously convoluted detail on exactly how that sexy cyborg's liminal body works, no one will catch on.

One of my players was driving a truck full of explosives as part of a run, and wrecked it. They burnt a point of edge to stay alive, but their back got all kinds of burnt and fucked up.

If they have multiple Softs running at once, have the skilljack or skillwires malfunction and access the wrong Soft for the action. For example, if hes trying to make a Chase action, his Skilljack might send inputs for a Automatics action and he just spends his action firing a gun that doesn't exist.
I'd treat it like he has the Gremlins 2-4 negative quality when using the Skilljack or Skillwires and when he'd glitch, cause the malfunction.

I wouldn't because she's a horribly written baby's first muscle girl. The limited options given to the player when talking to her are written so either you play her game or she walks over you and you have no option to put her in line without acting the way she wants you to act.

>>53748749
If only there was a way to fug her, then I might have been actually motivated to play through Dragonfall more.

better deck?
Vehicle?
Assorted gear?
DocWagon contract?
Some FakeSINs and Fake Licenses?
>>
>>53752375
Spend some on hardwired tertiary skills.
Get a better vehicle, you never know when a chameleon coating, morphing license plate and spoof tags are going to be needed.
Have you considered any of the various drugs available? Drugs are usable by just about anyone, and will probably stack with your ware.
An extra sin or two is always useful, pair with a bug out bag in case things get hairy.
Saviour Medkit, if you don't have it.
Better cyber, or just more cyber if you don't have any.

I'm still kind of new, how important is it to keep your essence up? I went with bioware so I wouldn't go under 1 essence loss for the stuff I took already.
>>
>>53752506
Seconding this if you don't already have it. It's a +2 to a huge amount of your matrix actions.
>>
>>53752506
I already have a normal one. Does upgrading it alpha/beta ware do anything other than cut essence cost?
>>
>>53752550
Only comes into play if you're an Awakened or trying to get lots of high end combat augs.
>>
>>53752589
Makes it cost more. For cyberware it also makes it harder to detect with scanners, don't think that applies for bioware though.
>>
>>53752550
If you aren't magic or a Technomancer, it barely matters at all. Feel free to get rid 4-5 points.

>>53752589
It's generally not worth it on something so expensive.

post some things that could be shadowrun related
>>
>>53752589
For cyberware, upgrading the grade also make it harder to detect with scanners.

Which can be important for the sneaky types.
>>
>>53752715
Would there be a reason to get bioware over cyberware? bioware seems like its easier to hide since its hidden within you.
>>
>>53752738
Cyber's usually more budget friendly. Also, it's easier to customize the appearance to fit in with a crowd since cyberware's generally noticeable.

Granted, that's not usually something you're going to do a lot. Most likely just showing off for a certain group, or for sporting events.

Is there a limit to how many striking calluses I can take? Is there anything stopping me from just taking 10 and getting ridiculous punches?
>>
What's are the best cheap reaction options? I have a troll that needs to go fast but I certainly don't have enough for wired Reflexes above grade 1. I was thinking about Jazz, but I'm not sure the almost certain addiction is worth it.
>>
>>53753341
MBW?
>>
>>53753341
Here's a secret. No-one pays attention to the addiction rules.
>>
>>53753341
Take a contact dealer that can get you pharmaceutical grade drugs. Double cost, but the Threshold is at -1.

So you can actually take it fairly regularly and have an easy enough roll to avoid being addicted. Or try and take it only once a month and be free of the monkey on your back.
>>
>>53753682
Where can I find the rules for this? Being able to take Jazz every 3 weeks without tests sounds great.

On an unrelated note: What skill would I use for making home alcohol, specifically Hurlg?

Harder to detect via Assensing.

My confusion comes from the fact that it doesn't say that the implant covers a single limb, nor does it say that there is a limit anywhere. It only says it is added to hands or feet. What's to stop me taking multiple pairs on my hands?
>>
>>53754196
Nice link genius. Your shitty acronym doesn't show up on the first page of google, so I'm not going to bother putting any effort into understanding your post.

>>53753545
>Here's an anecdote.
>>
>>53754210
Not him, but I'd say it's fucking stupid getting the same 'ware multiple times and having their effects stack. Logically you'd only be able to get it once at a rating 4 to cover all 4 of your appendages.

What does the family option do for contacts? I mean, is it like a group, where it represents several people, or is it just a fluff option you'd pick for if you decided to have a brother or sister as your contact?
>>
>>53754827
Treat contacts with the family quality as having a Loyalty one higher than their actual Loyalty when performing Loyalty Tests.
The character earns 1 less chip than a normal contact when asking favors.
Chips spent in improving relationships also cost one less.
On the downside, contacts are less diligent in getting things done for family, since it’s work for family.
Reduce the Loyalty by 1 in performing their job (p. 387, SR5). This includes extra dice, discounts, etc.
Buying a contact with this quality costs an additional 1 Karma.

Sorry for asking here but it's not like there's a cyberpunk thread up constantly and character art threads are pretty heavy on fantasy normally.
I'm running a COPS game of cyberpunk(2 police officers and a camera man following them around everywhere)
I am having a hell of a time finding portraits fitting for a police officer, or even a security force officer. Everything is either female in skimpy armor or man in full hardsuit, does anyone know of an artist or collection of humans in kevlar or at least partial less "Space combat armor" look to them?
