And that's coming from me, someone yet to field an army. And only taken an interest at all in the last two years. Relying entirely on pirated rules sources.

Again, it's their job. They can have the rules in front of them. If they're unsure, check.

I don't mind him as a person and his lore videos are informative, just not really into his channel and it's too focused on Warhammer (obviously) for my tastes.

Worst wargame channel on you tube I used to watch was a person who played hail ceaser with his son and was an asshat to him all the time, channels gone now.

I don't like Wargamer Fritz mainly due to not agreeing with a lot of his views but hey I like his enthusiasm for tabletop and the hobby I just don't like him pushing his views of peoples must do this or that to play tabletop onto others, play the games you want how you want the key is to have fun not you HAVE to paint all your shit or you can't play ect.

I agree, it's especially infuriating given they have all the tools they need to succeed, and yet still screw up basic details.

A lot of new players watch these batreps to learn rules and several times I've had a player do really weird shit because he saw it on MWG and didn't know better.
