Alright, think I've put the final touches on this for now. Rebalanced the drawbacks a little and integrated the expansion into the main CYOA.

Water magic and earth magic tend to be a good mix of comfort, power and utility in CYOAs

I just came up with a really cool concept. The entire world is brought into a new magical realm but it happens in phases. Those in the first phase get 100 points to spend, those in the second get 50 points to spend, those in the third get 25 points to spend, those in the fourth get 5 points to spend, and finally the fifth and last ones get 1 point to spend. Each phase or wave contains more people than the last.

Isn't this clever? How do I make it clevererer?

This is one of my favorite cyoas, there are just so many interesting combinations.

I would have really liked Wisdom or Defense, but it is not worth taking Celestial for and I feel like combining Death and Order is more important, otherwise there would probably be a constant power struggle, like in the Holy Roman Empire, between various popes and emperors.

My country is a constitutional monarchy, with the king or queen also being the head of my church. There is a strong empathise on honesty and personal choice, while entitlement. It is believed that rigtheous people are reincarnated into more beautiful bodys, because of that people who are proud of their looks would not be seen as vain. It is also believed that you will meet the people you made very strong connections with in a previous life in the new one. (I am not really a fan of heaven/paradise, because no matter how great it would have to get boring at some point, unless you take the peoples free will to make them always happy) I will only intervene in politics if absolutely necessary, instead I'll be spending most of my time as a sort of muse to artists.

Other people could ride the Drake, but it's top speed would be too much for normal people, who would either get torn off or have their eardrums rupture or something. There are plenty of people with powers in some shape or form out there that would let them survive though, its a big, magic world; out of the companions listed Grasken and Grail could probably handle it.

A stat needs to be High to raise to X-High, but that does include the stats you've already raised from Mid; so you could end up with an X-High Power Leechwolf for example.

I've got a reputation as someone who can get anything you want delivered anywhere you want. It's not true, of course - my buddy can only swim so far and there's some mountains too steep to leap up. But otherwise we've yet to fail.

On one of our trips, we found out about King Archibald's latest tournament. Not normally the kind of thing we're a part of, but something about it sounds like a good time. Maybe we'll win, and maybe we'll just see how good the two of us are, and how much we have to improve. I don't even know what I'd ask for if I won - I've got everything I need on the open road. Maybe I'll just ask for a really good meal - we could always use another one of those.

Booming Drake is seeming to be quite popular...

I'll take a Drake with Strong Bond (strength boost), perfect for doing Courier work moving small things fast or heavy things at a more reasonable speed.

Going to get roped into the Elf War with Ryanne. Should be plenty of use for a flying scout, and dropping a large rock at supersonic speed would be pretty destructive if I need to fight directly.

My job as a courier requires me to move to and fro many places, and should allow me to travel without much suspicion, which should be quite a bit of help in getting Whisper away from places she's gathered too much attention in. And although my loyal beast may be a bit too conspicuous, if proper preparations are made, he should be able to assist in cracking open some high security places and quickly getting away before too many people see him. And even if he's caught? It's not like anyone could stop us from making a getaway anyway.

With my Siegebreaker's invulnerability and unstoppable charge, he'd be the perfect battering ram for cracking open fortresses. Lots of potential for robbing high-profile places with Whisper or when laying siege to an enemy fortress in the elven war. His increased speed should only serve to increase the strength of his stampedes.

And, well. A beautiful femme fatale as a friend and sometimes thieving partner? A country of elven women? I can't ask for a better wingman.

If I can bestow aberrations on myself then I would be an excellent support character and/or changeling character. I could gain an extra 2 powers a day (although random but I'd categorize the powers based on experimentation) and use them for my benefit. Combined with Spectre I would look like a different creature or being every time like a changeling.

If I can't bestow myself then I'd become a power broker that lends out powers for a certain amount of funds. Afterwards I'd leave and the client would know about the powers they have until a 2-3 hour limit and I'd have my pay. I might not need to even meet them one-on-one as they could just pay me in advance and I just "happen" to bump into them during transit and use the touching from brushing beside them to bestow the powers without them even realizing. I'd just text them shortly after the bump-in that they have the powers (if it wasn't already shown from marks) or let them experiment with whatever they got.

has there been a meta cyoa that addresses the random people who now exist in the common "we created a random world for you and its populated" but from thempoint of view of the random humans or not-humans?

ie: turns out the "real world"was made by some fat neckbeard to be a replicate his world exactly but then he fucked off and asplored space somewhere with his anemone-inspired waifu leaving a waste of an earth he aint coming back to

Yep, Undersea Resident is the only power boost that works differently.

Bear in mind You and I means that your power level drops to normal (well, normal beast level) when you're doing much more than lurking and training in the wilderness, but it comes back soon enough when you return to seclusion.

Was going to mostly take the setting as it was with very few changes. My idea is probably far more complicated than it needs to be anyway, since the MGE world affects males and females differently, meaning each waifu option would need a description of themselves and a description of their species (since females would change into that monster type).
