Never in Golarion.
>>
Since you asked, not in Golarion.
>>
>>53619450
I wanna go to the Sodden Lands. I don't care how boring it is, I just want there to actually be content and reason to go there.
>>
>>53619450
Gib Ustalav adventure, pls. Lots of cool stuff down there, I've had a soft spot for it after I read the setting guide book about it. Too bad Pathfinder sucks for a low-power campaign, because I think something low power with a lot of investigation would work best... Oh wait, that's really just a Call of Cthulhu game, isn't it?
>>
>>53619450
Tian Xia, hopefully!
>>
What happened to the old thread?
>>
>>53619528
You bet! There is one and only one setting Pathfinder is good for, and that is high fantasy dungeon crawling adventures. The same goes for Starfinder, given it's built on 3.PF's system. Please, for your own good, broaden your horizons.

Nihilist scum got their own stupid thread annihilated. It was poetic.
>>
>>53619528
Carrion Crown. The first book is pretty low level and has some cool encounters. Not sure about the rest though.
>>
>>53619555
Oh, I've played Call of Cthulhu before, and a couple other systems besides. I'd rather play another Eclipse Phase game than a Starfinder one.

>>53619584
I've heard it's pretty bad overall, getting worse as it goes on. I have no idea though, really. Strange Aeons could be an option too.
>>
>>53619450
I want to adventure in the Land of the Linnorm Kings, Galt, Katapesh and Druma.
>>
>>53619653
All in one campaign? What would the order be and how would the story move the party from one nation to the next?
>>
What nations haven't been covered in adventure paths? Or, maybe better, which ones have?
>>
>>53619688
Katapesh->Druma->Galt->LotLK

>>
>>53619450

Well, considering Golarion will be gone proper i guess the various bits and pieces of Absalom that have the cultural markings of the prior nations.

Since the last thread got deleted, I did find a single chopped piece of the character sheet I was asking about, it being the pic. It's from when one of my players sent it to me in a message but not an actual pdf. I'd love the actual pdf since this is probably the best generic custom sheet I'd seen for pathfinder.

Please /pgg/, you are my only hope
>>
So since it got nuked last thread, how would /pgg/ feel about a game where gestalt was treated like AD&D Multiclassing - you could do it, but you'd level slower. How much would it need to be to balance out against the single class users, assuming no one tried to break anything?
>>
>>53619450
CONAN vs. MAGIC ROBOTS FROM SPACE sounds nice.
>>
>>53619790
An attack in one of the cities leads the nation of Andoran into a long term war and occupation of Katapesh and eventually another long term war and occupation of Qadira when the real culprits of the attack are in Druma.

Why not just either disalow Gestalt, or may instead rework it so that it functions more like VMC?

Hey guys, I'm thinking of working on remaking the shitty Monk Vow system to actually be interesting and usable, providing unique boons for each vow rather than just the crappy +1 ki pool. As well as making it re-converted to the UC Monk

I'm also working on maybe making and adding some new vows (currently I have Vows of Beauty, Physicality, and Obscuration)

So, I'd like to pick your collective brains for ideas on this project. What kind of benefits would you like each Vow to give, and what other kinds of new vows would you like to see made?
>>
>>53620095
First you should fix it so that the Monk isn't so MAD.
>>
>>53620129
I'm a homebrewer, not a miracle worker. Plus its for the UC Monk, so its not so bad, only just slightly MAD.

So, do you have any actual advice or no?
>>
>>53620085
Anon, all you have to do to free Cheliax is kill the Queen and most of House Thrune. Hell's Contract with Cheliax is to House Thrune and House Thrune alone, to the point that an attempted alliance between Einmarch Henderthane and the devil Orxines resulted in House Thrune executing the entirety of House Henderthane's immediate branch - a bold measure, when you consider House Henderthane is the right-hand of House Thrune and the Empire's primary supplier of arms and armor.

Cheliax has been an Empire for over a thousand years, and only 60 of those have been with the descriptor "Infernal" added onto it. Cut off the head, and the Empire will much return to what Sargava currently is; a nation of haughty, pale-skinned Imperialists... Who don't worship Satan.
>>
>>53620166
>any actual advice
Yeah, don't play D&D.

The idea of vows is interesting, but they're so heavily RP-oriented that you run a giant risk of them being free upsides for murderhobos while being crippling for low combat groups. You'd have to be very careful in how you made them, and ensure they'd help as much as they hindered in all situations.
>>
>>53620019
Look.

I have no fucking clue how this system plays.
>>

I wish they would release more lore about the Solarion. I find myself watching a bunch of destiny lore videos and stuff like infusing your light into things seems like something the Solarion would do. I could see some quest where you have to meditate infront of some special sentient black hole and avoid having your soul devoured by it in order to increase your power or something of the sort

Either pick the game back up, or don't. If you plan on doing the latter, you wouldn't be fucking asking for advice, so you must be doing the former.

Thus, we're telling you how to do that.
>>
>>53620318
HA HA HA HA

Hell no.
>>
>>53620318
No, because CR is a fucked system that barely works at all. Further there's also the issue where numbers and formation of enemies and what their skills are matter significantly for determining how difficult an encounter is.

If I take the Silent Spell feat, would that allow me to still cast spells if I find myself gagged often, like with a ballgag?

a-asking for a friend
>>
>>53620409
Depends, are you a sorcerer, wizard, or arcanist? If you're a sorcerer then yes you can. If you're a wizard, then only if you prepared it as a silent spell in the morning. If you're an arcanist then you can fuck game balance with a spiky dildo you conjured as a spontaneous still silent spell that doesn't have an increased spell level.
>>
>>53620299
we should get a preview of the next iconic on Monday, with the actual class preview on Friday. If you're lucky, it'll be solarion.

of course, if I'm lucky, it'll be mechanic instead.

I find its very 50/50 in a lot of games. I personally use XP because I feel like milestone leveling can sometimes be harder to judge and XP is still such a baked in concept as part of RPGs and most people either don't mind or really enjoy seeing that XP total go up over sessions.
>>
>>53620532
Do not take Sacred Geometry. That's the one feat that is guaranteed to get you kicked from a game.
>>
>>53620531
>How do you judge the correct things then?

By knowing your party, their abilities, and finding enemies whose abilities complement them.

It's more of an art than a science, and a very difficult one at that. If you're serious about doing this, then go run an Adventure Path, or other pre-written module.

I've found that doing anything less than level+2 CR tends to be a waste of your time. There are a few CR = level entries you could do if you were particularly clever and malicious with them (attack the party while asleep, while climbing, crossing a bridge, on a boat,in a narrow tunnel, etc) but otherwise its just not worth wasting everyone's time to roll initiative 'cause its gonna die in 2 rounds tops.

Also, how do you guys think environmental effects like gravity will play out and affect combat? If I recall from Distant Worlds, low gravity allows you to shoot farther, and people born and raised on heavier worlds will get strength bonuses?

Oh I looove being clever. See I play all these little tactics games and being devious is the staple of warfare. I think there might be kobolds, and they might have crossbows, and they might hide like sneaky bastards.

But are there other important points to keep in mind when you're trying to run a game? For example loot, magic items, plot, etc?

So why is Cheliax the only cool city in Golarion?

Preferably, tell me why without simply saying "Hellknights"?
>>
>>53620732
The thing that bother's me the most usually related to cheliax's fall from it's world power status. Galt, Andoran, Molthune, Isger all feel like a clusterfuck, and mostly because Druma and Kyonin are right in the middle of what should have been a more contiguous empire.

Or how 90% of the world's problems are because Aroden died, and that his death is a big mystery even after all these years. It's lazy writing, imo.

And Brevoy is fucked on an international level. No important neighbors or international relations. No major resources to export, and shit all for crops.

Perhaps you need to reconsider this domain combination.

Cheliax probably had suzerainty over those nations instead of outright control, akin to it's control over Nidal and Isger now.

Also, a spirit stands next to Pharasma who looks and acts just like Aroden (if somewhat more subservient to Pharasma than originally) so I have to think that Aroden probably "gave up" or wanted humanity to stand more on it's own. What better way to do that than making massive prophecies and then not showing up and "dying"?

Mostly, you'll be looking at grains, and if they're as much of a dietary staple in Golarion as they are on Earth, that'll be a big export... Not to mention booze, of course. Aside from that, Brevoy is noted to have a decent chunk of its economy centered around lumber and mining.

I agree that it's missing something to really give it some kick, though. If they wanted to give it something that makes it feel like it has more of a place economically with the other nations, I'd have said there was some kind of rare, magical liquid only found in Brevoy and nearby areas, said to be blood from Choral or some such like that. It economy would be on the downswing because it's getting harder and harder to find more of it, being a nonrenewable resource, and the nation is being forced to lean more on its other resources to economic support.

Joanna is a peculiar dichotomy of war deity and defender, except those she defends are the honored dead and those who seek an end to war; those she seeks to destroy are those who would disturb the resting dead and the sleep they have earned or those who seek to prolong unnecessary war. Where Pharasma seeks only to maintain the flow of souls, and the Horsement seek to consume them, and Iomedae enforces the value of fighting to victory, Joanna defends the flow of souls, holds the quiet resting places of the dead as sacred, and promotes the end of war over the victory of the warriors. She will destroy those who seek to use the dead for nefarious - or even legitimate - purposes. No necromancy is a good act save that it protects the restful dead or restores the unrestful dead to their quiet.

While she is a defender, all too often fields of battle are places where the dead are desecrated, and life is cheap. Joanna does not approve of prolonged battle; a quick and decisive victory is preferable, because the dead need peace and care and the families of the soldiers suffer in their absence; until the war is over, there is little peace to be had for anyone. The Silent Knight is invoked by warriors who wish a return to peace, more often than those who seek victory, and sometimes that means capitulating in a battle; Joanna does not condemn surrender as cowardice, and believes that an acceptance of defeat for the return to peace is better than a vainglorious death.

This often earns her the name of The Coward's Goddess, and her priests are often considered tricksters and liars, or at best foolish pacifists. However, that is a dangerous mistake, for Joanna is very much aware that sometimes swift victory is the best way to achieve peace, and her servants, while often more interested in quiet contemplation and the care of others, will act with brutal and direct force when there is no other option left - and they are very efficient at using that force to end a fight.

Its been a while since I've played Bastion, so I don't remember them to well, plus you never learn much about them aside from either the descriptions on their idols, and when Rucks talks about them during the Stranger's Dream.

All I remember is that all the Gods are based around representing dualistic concepts.

Here's a video where they talk a bit about them in said Stranger's Dream (as well as some other small tidbits of the game's lore)
Also its just great listening to Rucks narrate over just about anything

What would be some good ideas for a "digital" god? I mean, we have the Triune and what not but I imagine there could be room for things like spirits who possess the setting version of the internet good evil and indifferent.

A trickster god worshipped by hackers who inspires his followers to look for hidden meaning behind the myriad lines of code. An evil spirit that attempts to kill people through their computers ala the Ring. A proxy of the various gods who value secrets who wish to keep them hidden in the vastness of the internet.

Are you a grandmaster creature?

http://spheresofpower.wikidot.com/grandmaster-creature

>Assemble Cabal (Su): The grandmaster may designate up to 4 creatures known to her, plus herself, to be considered a cabal member (this designation takes a standard action, but once done it lasts until changed). Twice per day when she focuses and speaks the name of her cabal, this group of creatures is called to unoccupied squares adjacent to the grand master (an immediate action). They appear at the grandmaster’s location along with their gear, even if the grandmaster and the subjects are not on the same plane. The cabal members know who is attempting to teleport them, and this ability only functions on willing travelers. This is a conjuration (teleportation) effect.

The way the second paragraph is structured makes it feel that maybe the deities in Starfinder will have their own coding styles. The Conquest dude would probably prefer simply programs that work in the heat of battle, while a medic might value efficient coding that does a lot of medical scans in a short while, so the medical bag packed with supplies can be opened properly.

Fucking this, if Brevoy is meant to be Poland than it should have a rich tradition of throwing it's weight around in a major shipping district of the continent. The Sellen(?) River is a mighty source of trade for the region, but it simply can't compare to Lake Encarthan. Delete Razmir, delete Kyonin, replace both of them with Brevoy, and you've got a recipe for greatness.

Holy shit, it would even give Lastwall some Teutonic Order parallels, and the developers could have written Lastwall as a nation that, after losing it's purpose for existing with the fall of Tar-Baphon, began to try and legitimize itself as a secular power, and it would start that by bullying Brevoy and the other surrounding kingdoms.

Oh, and delete Mivon and replace it with Not!Lithuania, or Not!Muscovy.

>so I have to think that Aroden probably "gave up" or wanted humanity to stand more on it's own. What better way to do that than making massive prophecies and then not showing up and "dying"?

The theory I love the best is Aroden witnessed the Grand Prophecy (or whatever you'd call it) and saw that Rovagug was going to win when he broke out of his cage. That was fate. So by cutting the tethers of fate, he gave Humanity and Golarion itself a chance to survive.

My favorite theory is that Aroden never died, but is actually trapped. The Dimension of Time is a place creatures from the outer planes can't enter, even gods, because fate only held sway over mortals. Aroden, however, is a god who was once mortal, so he went to the Dimension of Time in hopes of trying to change some past event. Depending on what you think, he either tried to undo Earthfall and failed or tried to undo some even greater calamity in the past and succeeded. But either way he paid the price, because nobody can wander too deep into the Dimension of time without either becoming completely detached from reality and unable to ever return or becoming stuck in a temporal loop that has them wandering around in the Dimension of Time endlessly.

Since the Dimension of Time is (or was) a place where all that ever was has been and all that ever will be did, it's logically thick with the powers of fate and prophecy. Gods aren't suppose to go there, but if one did and they started fucking around with things that weren't meant to be fucked with, it makes sense that they'd break something... Aroden broke fate. Better than breaking time, I suppose.

No matter what happened to Aroden, there's a good chance Pharasma is in on it. After all, she's the one in charge of handling dead spirits, and nobody said that doesn't include gods. Besides, it's been noted that one of her servants named the Echo of Lost Divinity looks suspiciously like Aroden.

>Song: Fear the Fear by Tursias
>Link: https://youtu.be/OlBxE2zVnQA?t=27m21s

Fitting I got the least heroic song on that goddamn album.

Character: A crusty old sergeant. Fought in countless wars, stood behind the King prior to his death, and is deeply unhappy with the choices his children are making. The boy is headstrong and foolish, playing at things without counting their cost. The girl has her head lost in a dreamland, unaware of reality. Perhaps through his guidance, he can instill in them the proper respect for the power they wield.

Philosophy:
Fear is natural. Fear is our ally. Fear needs to be embraced.

Fear means you understand the gravity of your situation. Pointless bravado and posturing benefit no one, they only trick young people into throwing their lives away. If any of us truly wishes to make a difference, we must all learn to not fear our fear.

Well, I can think of 2 reasons just off the top of my head

1. Fun

2. Sex is a commodity and like any commodity it's more valuable when it's scarce. Part of being sexually enticing therefore is putting forth the image of being difficult to "obtain", like a scarce commodity. So one keeps their affairs under wraps, so that they can maintain that image. Once it's known you're gangbanging dudes your scarcity is gone and the image is ruined.

Perhaps but I get a strong hindu vibe out of this but there's nothing that says we can't make what we want out of it.

Not really consider for am moment that you're a Low Caster with shit CL progression, which means shit Destructive blast progression.

You also have SR to contend with using the Doomblade too.

So it MIGHT be powerful in like E6 or shanktown but would quickly become useless.

Charisma is mental and Constitution refers to your general bodily health. Con might help your dick stay hard, since if it gets too big the body can't supply enough blood and it can only get as hard as a loofa. Destructive Blade uses class level as caster level, so you're not hobbled unless you stop taking Doomblade levels. SR could be an issue, but there's blast types that don't permit SR.

What role will Kitsune have to play in Starfinder?
>>
>>53622896
I had to leave really early in the campaign, at like, level 2! Now they're at level 11. I had to leave for family reasons and by the time I could finally rejoin too much story stuff had passed! There was no time to show off the girl's character apart from "angry fightgirl with large sword"! She was good at fighting at least! I can probably reuse her if I found art that wasn't obviously stolen and if there was a game that would allow it but at the very least I can do side-stuff with the DM using her so that's good!

TL;DR: Generic fightgirl who tragically never got time for character development but may see life in solo play

Considering the round limitation, and how it will basically be complete shit at low levels, and you can't apply your bonuses or spell points to enhance its damage, it really isn't. At most, later on it may become comparable to a Paladin smite, but not until you get to a higher level

Can't say I fully agree with your evaluation

At low levels the damage does suck, sure, but you're making touch attacks so you don't have the crippling inaccuracy of low level combat. You can also shore it up with an initiator gestalt and get another 2d6 or better on each attack off that. +5 to-hit against touch AC and 3d6 damage is pretty damn good for a 1st level character.
You can also carry a real weapon too, you're fully proficient.

And spending a swift action stings, but it's by far and away the cheapest type of action and there's no associated spell point cost unless you use a fancy blast type. The duration is also perfectly fine, should only cost you a swift per fight. Less if you keep it constantly refreshed out of combat.

So can a Gunslinger, and they still kinda suck
>You can also shore it up with an initiator gestalt
Gestalts are not common to all game, and should not be considered when discussing the merits of a class or archetypeon its own.
>You can also carry a real weapon too, you're fully proficient.
And said reach weapon will scale much better in terms of reliable damage when enchanted or possibly used with the Energy Blade talent, which will only be minor since it won't benefit from your CL boost since its not your doomblade.

Again, in terms of damage reliability and use, you're only about as good as a Paladin or unoptimized Barbarian, except without having it as good at earl levels, meaning you're going to trail behind in the damage department behind those two classes

Really, if I was going to be a Mageknight who emphasizes raw damage, I'd just grab Enhancement Sphere and skip the middleman for bonuses.

Don't get me wrong, its a good archetype, but its nothing revolutionary

>ou can also shore it up with an initiator gestalt

How many times can you repeat the same format/structure for arcs in an adventure before it gets stale?

Like, say an adventure has as its premise that there are four great lords jealously guarding four great treasures, their domains scattered to each of the four cardinal directions, and the PCs must defeat each lord, steal their treasures, and use them to unlock further passage into the tower to Heaven at the center of the world so they can challenge the fallen angel who has slain god and darkened the world.

If that game were divided into five arcs (one for each general plus the fallen angel in heaven) do you think it's possible to use a similar structure for each arc without it getting boring?

The above isn't the campaign I'm running but I'm trying to figure out how many arcs I should include in the one I am going to run. I'm thinking five, because that means the first arc lets the PCs learn how things go, the second lets them get use to it, the third lets me buck their expectations by changing the formula slightly, the fourth lets drama raise to a boil while letting the PCs feel like they know what they're doing, and the fifth can break from the normal structure more than the third while giving a sense of finality because the path is clear.

>>
>>53623528
No not really.
>>
>>53623504
Its not retardedly powerful for Full Attacks, and Strikes tend to be strong anyway.
Again, if you were to be an initiator gestalt, this shit would only really be as strong as someone who took Paladin or Barbarian as the other side of their gestalt, which reallly why would you fucking do that when you've already got the ability to shit out retarded damage from mixing Boosts and Full-attacks. If you're wasting a gestalt on that combination, then you're going to drag behind in terms of overall versitility and effectiveness than the characters who gestalted with a 9th or 6th level caster instead

Alright, Joanna is a fun hit with everyone, so I have an idea for us all to do together. Lets randomly make some Gods!

Go here
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/cleric/domains
And look at the Paizo domains

Now, roll 4d37 in the options field. This will determine your 4 domains. If you get repeating digits or incompatable domains (Like Good+Evil, or Law+Chaos) you may reroll.

Now, with just this, start comingup with ideas for a deity to fit those domains and go nuts. You'll come up with your own alignment, portfolio, favored weapon, clergy, and everything else. If you wihs you may choose to assume either Golarion setting, or make them setting agnostic. If you get stuck with the specifics yo can ask for help, or not, its up to you.

As for me, I'll start us off, then take a show and ponder on it. It'll probably be a while until I come back with something concrete, but I imagine everyone else here will be faster at it and have fun drumming up discussion.

>>53622394
I never mind. If I did, I wouldn't help /tg/ with this stuff.
>>
>>53624504
Probably. There's also a matter of 'starfinder might be total shit and be dead within a month'
>>
Assuming they have typical sci-fi gear, what kind of ship do you want for your first Starfinder campaign? A freighter modified for speed? A sleek stealth ship? A gunship?

>Paizo Games General
Sounds like a place to discuss Paizo Games. 3pp relating to these games seems perfectly fine to discuss here.
>Paizofinder General
Sounds like a deranged fanboy paradise where the very mention of DSP's perversion of the pure Paizo system will get you crucified.

>>
>>53624504
Because we have been over this. Its going to just split the general even further than it needs to be split. Then we will end up with two dead threads.
>>
Personally I'd like to keep it as /pfg/. /pgg/ doesn't sound as good and discussing a spinoff game doesn't warrant a change to the generals name.

I love the game. The company can mostly eat dicks. We give a shit about the product, not the people.

Not really, you'll just create a power vacuum that the next strongest noble family will be ready to immediately pact with big A to fill. Or they will all descend into a brutal civil war that will end up with most of the civilians in Cheliax dead or sacrificed to some fiend or another for power.

Earth, Destruction, Death, Weather

Hmn.

Ururu is the Chained God. He is trapped within the earth, an unkillable monster-god that is bound underground. He struggles agaisnt his bondage, and those who pray to him do so only to calm him and grant him restful and peaceful dreams.

Because when he does not dream, when he remembers where he is and why he is bound, he struggles, and he draws breath to scream. The drawing of his breath creates tornadoes, and his yells erupt into hurricanes. His struggles agaisnt the entrapping earth creates earthquakes and cause volcanoes to erupt.

He is a tragic, damned thing, a god cursed never to be free, for his freedom would result in a swath of death and destruction, unending torrents of rain and constant and repetiitive erathquakes as he walks the earth. Magma and tornadoes would strom in his wake.

Ururu is the God of Kaiju, and fear his waking moments, for his children will flock to him and the world will be rent asunder in their joyous games.
>>
>>53624655

It didn't sell super well. Which is a shame, because it left the freighter market to be dominated by Corellians and their "let's swap which side the cockpit's on and charge full price for it" mentality.

Entirely irrelevant. Read Inner Sea Gods; Iomedae's next, canon priority is the Salvation of Cheliax, her homeland. Once she's done finishing Aroden's job up north, she's absolutely moving on those fuckers.

Callote, The Miragemonger
>Alignment: NE
>Portfolio: Mirages, Magicians, Mountebanks

>Subdomains: Alchemy, Deception, Greed, Medicine, Smoke
>Favored Weapon: Sling
>Favored Colors: Maroon and White

>Holy Symbol: A vial filled with smoke

Calote may be a minor God, but his name is always the first on the tongue of snake-oil peddlers, false street magicians, and other people who live off of deceiving others for personal gain. He is the patron of those who bamboozle gullible fools into buying faulty curatives, or who use their own skills as a smokescreen to blind others. All manner of fake miracle worker prays for aid and blessing from the Miragemoger for skill at gulling and luck in profits. To Calote, the world is a playground filled with fools and idiots whose minds are filled with smoke, so its no skin off his teeth to take advantage of such fools, and better yet to trick them into believing they were helped so the ignorant saps may return to be milked more and more for profit and laughs. Callote's followers share in his mindset, and will use whatever means they have at their disposal to keep raking in the cash and praise from the smoke-eyed sheep around them.

Callote has no official church, nor does he possess any holy texts, and those that worship him either are solitary, or form small congregations often consisting of members of the same merchant/hustler family, circus troupe, or similar. Clerics of Callote will often masquerade as followers of other gods in order to scam fools out of tithes with false or temporary blessings and miracles. Spellcasters and magicians who worship Callote often favor spells that make use of illusions, temporary and removable buffs, and commonly will use smoke and pyrotechnics to distract their enemies and victims alike.
>>
>>53625008

Callote rarely appears before mortals, often prefering to take the form of an inocuous peddlar or grifter, though often his own flamboyant behavior will sell him out as someone who's not a common charlatan. When he does reveal himself he often takes the form of a masked figure wreathed in billowing smoke and heat, with hil sleeved arms lined with dozens of pristine flasks and vials filled with all manner of liquids. While he is most often found traveling the planes in order to trick would-be travelers, his home where he resides and stores his vast collection of ill gotten gains is the Chateau de Fume, a giant mansion of solid smoke which stradles the space between the Elemental Plane of Fire and the Plane of Shadows. Many would-be adventurers have attmepted to raid this estate in the past, though nearly all of them have fallen pray to all maner of traps, both magical and mundane, as well to their own greed, as the smoke of the mansion will shape itself to the desires of those who enter, leading them to awful traps and imprisoning them in an unending cage of their own unsatiated want.

Whentoo lazy to decieve people himself, Callote will often send his herald in his stead, The Smoldering Duchess. This divinely empowered Efreet was once eftreeti royalty, before she entered into a foolish bargain with the Miragemonger and inadverdently sold herself into servitude to him for a while. Though she has long since fulfilled her indenture, she has chosen to stay and serve the Callote as his closest servant and herald, having learned to take pleasure from the thrill of deceiving and goading mortals into foolish bargains, and now serves as Callotes herald and closest companion.

>>53624911

No, no, that's fine, we get it. That reminds me, though-there was an issue with some captured members of the so-called "Reclamation". Their surrender was peacefully accepted, but they committed perfidy and turned on their captors almost immediately. One of them was actually a paladin, if you could believe that. Just shameful; that kind of behavior would never have flown in the Order of the Godclaw. You know, before they were killed for refusing to support open rebellion.
>>
>>53625008
>>53625024
So, thoughts? Or should the god-talk be moved to the other thread?
>>
>>53625031
Perhaps they shamed themselves, and for that they will be chastised. It hardly justifies diabolism.
The weakness of Sarenrae will not be repeated.
>>
When a fighter retrains feats as part of his level progression, he can use the retrained feats to qualify for new feats on the same level right?
>>
>>53625086
The problem is that they started to kill members of the Order of the Godclaw, whose ranks INCLUDE PALADINS OF IOMEDAE, as well as other non-evil gods such as Torag, Abadar, and Irori

Or are you telling me Iomedae approves of fratricide amongst followers and killing the servants of other Gods of Justice

Perhaps not, but it would certainly seem to justify harsher measures taken against the rebels in Chelaxian territory. After all, if we can't even trust the PALADINS in their ranks to conduct themselves with honor, then clearly, we are wasting our breath offering mercy to the insurgents and their sympathizers.

Yes, well, best of luck to you in waking it. Do be warned, however-apparently there are dragons loose in the countryside. Some of our forces ran into one while purging rebels from what used to be Citadel Dinyar, but they managed to put the beast down for good.

Just an FYI.
>>
>>53625375
Except Iomedaean don't even aspire to be good. They just act like Might MAkes Right assholes and claim to be "Good" and "Just" because of it despite having none of the qualities of a chanpion of righteousness and justice. And when anyone tries to call you liars, charlatans, and hypocrites out you just yll at people to check their privilage and screech autistically about how you must be perfect by definition.

The worst form of Evil, is the kind which cannot and will not recognize itself as Evil, which the Iomedeans certainly fit the bill of.

You guys are essentially Enrico Pucci levels of deluded, except with lesbians instead of gay men.

Your very existence tarnishes the name of Justice and Honor
