They're almost impossible to riffle, and even harder sleeved. On the other side, Mash shuffling is made easier (well, possible) by sleeving and can be done with big fat edh decks better than riffle can. so sleeve that shit up and mash it 10+ times or so.

What I did was bought a bunch of the same type of sleeves and make a sort of modular EDH deck. You just have a large bank of cards and grab the ones you want for a specific commander. It's a lot quicker than I thought for switching around cards since they're all sleeved and stored together, and you don't have to waste more money buying extra copies of lands or staples.

But fetches are really good with life from the loam, and anything else that cares about lands in the yard. Additionally, they're decent at protecting yourself from untimely single target land hate while also giving a free shuffle. Ally colored decks even get to have something like 4 dual colored targets when fetching, which means that fetches are extremely strong fixers, pulling both untap and taplands when necessary. If you can afford them, they're strictly better than a lot of other dual colored lands.

what kind of meta are you going to be playing in though? if it's a casual meta then it's not going to be a problem building a deck, but for a more cutthroat meta 165 dollars might not be enough

if you want to build a budget deck that is also powerful, i'd probably recommend building a reanimator deck, or maybe like jeleva, prosh or something like that. edric, spymaster is also cheap to build but painfully boring to play

Since you're thinking about a B/G deck I think your best bet is to purchase Meren's Precon Deck (Plunder the Graves: http://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/feature/commander-2015-edition-decklists-2015-11-06).

It's probably one of the strongest out of the box, has several staples for its colors, and three great commanders (Meren, Jarad and Mazirek).

To be fair, Sylvan Library is stupid good in any deck that allows green. It's easily one of the top ten best green cards period. It puts in so much work it's unreal. For 1G (and a little life every now and then) it helps smooth out land drops, increase card draw, and/or let you set up your topdeck.

Anon who was asking about Brago a few days ago here. I finally got a list that I'm somewhat comfortable with, but I always like to have more opinions.
