Dumping a collection of surrealist comics I found, post Urban Unease inspiration and ideas, particularly about transit.
Bonus points for keeping it comfy in the uneasiness.
Some are kinda "silly" but the majority are exactly what I think when I picture urban unease
Anyone enjoying these?
These are pretty great.
Fuck yes The Bus. Read this on /co/ earlier this year and it was amazing.

I love this one.
Thank you OP
>>53578900
bumping.
>>53579010
Wow, didn't expect a berserk reference in this.
Are you still going, OP? The Bus is great and you're doing a great service by storytiming it.
Buying the hardcover collection was one of the best purchases I ever made, it's a 10/10 coffee table book. I think there's a second volume, too; I should look into it sometime.
Anyway, this one's my favorite.

Berserk reference? Where?
What is this that roareth thus?
Can it be a Motor Bus?
Yes, the smell and hideous hum
Indicat Motorem Bum!
Implet in the Corn and High
Terror me Motoris Bi:
Bo Motori clamitabo
Ne Motore caedar a Bo---
Dative be or Ablative
So thou only let us live:---
Whither shall thy victims flee?
Spare us, spare us, Motor Be!
Thus I sang; and still anigh
Came in hordes Motores Bi,
Et complebat omne forum
Copia Motorum Borum.
How shall wretches live like us
Cincti Bis Motoribus?
Domine, defende nos
Contra hos Motores Bos!
I have no idea what urban unease is but i'm gonna keep this dump going
Now i want to make a character whose class is a busmancer

Ok, I burst out laughing at this one.
>>53579266
Holy fucking shit.
>>53590724
this one's depressing
that's it for me. I think I should buy the book once I have money.

>Anyone enjoying these?
I am! I've only read a few of these

These storefronts are killing me
This is fantastic, but what.
>>53592149
Can't spell "succubus" without a "bus".
This is fantastic.
I've always wanted to run a game based around the idea of a paranormal roadtrip, where each session would be another stop along the way with its own puzzles and mysteries to solve.

First time I've seen these, it's fantastic, you're awesome for sharing that.
Nice, hadn't seen about a quarter of these.
Let's dump some ideas, shall we?
>you swear you've seen the same guy drive the taxi, handle the trams and drive the bus. Sometimes you'd see him controlling a tram from the window of a bus he's also driving.
>the speaker system's old and worn down.
>It sounds like a school PA system when the driver's using it
>it always seems to play either the latest or something from your favorite band.
>although sometimes the passengers get a bit crazy
>like that one disco wannabe boogieing down to some heavy metal ballads like it was the 60s.
>there's never any news on, either.
>oddly enough, you can't figure out what station it's tuned to...
>sometimes there's a catering wagon.
>even if there shouldn't be a catering wagon, like on a bus or something.
>once it was on a taxi.
>it's run by this young-ish woman who looks a bit like those old pinups.
>she's wearing standard company uniform, but her hat is always oddly tall and conical.
>the wagon's loaded with all sorts of import stuff.
>there's a box underneath the displayed goods and the menu seems to have more items than on display.
>once, you saw a girl in a yellow raincoat buy something.
>the catering girl began digging into the box under the display goods.
>you looked away, and when you looked back, the wagon was gone and the girl was licking on something that looked like a statue-themed popsicle
>you swear the popsicle winked at you just as the girl smiled at you.

It's Hieronymous Bosch

Weird and somewhat unsettling supernatural occurrences in an urban environment with little to no explanation
See Unknown Armies, some SCPs, various urban legends, this one thing I saw on the internet about a subway that connects to all other subways, The Lost Room, and this cyoa
