Why are Dungeons and Dragons books so small?

Ease of transport?

Why would they be bigger?
>>53577140
1.) most books generally are much smaller than 11' so it can't be said that DnD books are really small
2.) what would be the benefit of making them larger than 11'? given that you're not talking about thickness, you're not adding content just making the already existent content larger which would be pointless.
what the fuck are you even talking bout? how big do you want them to be? all rpg books i've seen are around that size or smaller, thicker sometimes but having them be bigger just seems like it wold make them uncomfortable to handle

Larger book allows for larger font and more pictures.

Put on some glasses grandpa, or get laser eye surgery
>More pictures
What are ya, 12? Fucking hell, all you need is text/numbers, any pictures should be considered a nice bonus, not something to make a bigger book over. use your imagination,,,

I think they're the maximum size they can be while still being convenient to take to sessions

Who doesn't love curling up with a good book?

Easier to fit in a backpack, and can be easily carried one handed or carried on a stack.
Large books are incontinent to transport.
