Is philosophy WIS or INT?
>Pic kinda unrelated
Knowing philosophy is INT. Living philosophy is WIS.

Yes.
INT to learn and recall the work of philosophers, and potentially to practically apply it.
WIS to truly understand the nuances of a given philosophy you've learned about, or develop philosophy of your own.
Known philosophy is Int. Understanding Philosophy is Wis.
Int is memory. Wis is thought. Huginn and Munnin.

Both, there is very analytical, almost mathematical philosophy and philosophy that can be much more spiritual and abstract, or which deals with common sence.

>Huginn and Munnin.
Whooaa.

High int: I know about all the philosophies.
High wis: *kills self*
>>53556947
In DnD terms? Neither, there is no stat to represent that. I could go find some NPC from some book or another with high INT and some other one with high WIS who are both childish in their worldviews.

lil column A, lil column B

By definition philosophy is WIS; philosophy literally translate to love of wisdom
Wisdom/int decide doesn't reflect real people very well

>Is philosophy WIS or INT?
Neither, tbqh.
>>53556947
Both and neither, depending on the specific philosophy, how it's practiced, and the practitioner themselves.
I'd even say that some specific philosophies could be based on Charisma, if you go by the idea that Charisma is force of personality and individualism.

Philosophy is the Bluff skill.

Philosophical debate is the intellectual equivalent of a circle jerk.
The academic discipline is INT.
The concept as referenced in workaday discussiom and self-help books is WIS.
>>53556947
Regardless, philosophers are low WIS and low INT.
Analytic Philosophy: Int
Continental Philosophy: Wis
