Oh, my bad. For some reason I thought they were on the martial list. That's weird when the Eastern two-handed martial weapons contains the nodachi, a giant katana. Actually that whole list of two-handers look like exotic weapons. Sansetsukon is a three-jointed nunchaku. Some of their stats are also above and beyond the martial norm, nodachi being a 1d10 falchion with brace, and two 1d8 reach weapons having scythe crit multiplier.

Here's the Feat Tree since it's kind of buried as one of the last links among many. It's by far the most accessible way to view feats for a newcomer. Some things like Style feats are missing, though, which is fucking annoying.

Depends. When playing an elf I tend to go with the school of thought that elves take a longer time perfecting something, so it's ok to say they spent 20 or so years perfecting the art of magic. As is, elves are still usually considered children until their first century or so. I tend to bring out a little more of the way that their long lifespan affects them in their personality, not as much their background.

Here is the thing about a character with a long life span or immortality; they could spend a very long time studying and perfecting that one thing they're really into and they can take a lot of vacations. Sabbaticals are part of the learning process, you can say they have been studying abroad and generally observing things for the sake of learning and education. Or if they are less academically inclined p'raps they're going around studying hell other races fight so they learn how to be a better combatant. Maybe they are inclined towards nature and they want to learn more about other environments, their guardians and the dangers therein.

Just because they've lived a long time doesn't mean they were necessarily doing the high adrenaline life or death adventuring that your default player character does during a campaign.

"Ranged Avowed" could mean any number of things, you'll have to be a little more specific. In general, something with Full BAB would be best for making you a better archer and those classes often help you get feats sooner, though Bard could also serve for extra utility. Aether Barrage benefits a lot from the extra iterative of full BAB but is just fine without it, and if you can get a big flat bonus to attacks then Aether Duelist could be good with it.

So I was looking at what made humans uniquely human in my setting. Here are a few things, I need opinions on them.

>Humans are the only creatures to be obsessed with recreating their own likeness. Dolls for instance are a uniquely human invention, as well as the art of humanity has humans as one of its center points throughout the ages. Other races feel no similar compulsion to recreate themselves by any means other than breeding and find humanity's obsession with representations of themselves disturbing.

>Similarly humans are the only species with an 'uncanny valley' effect of others that look close to them but not quiet. This seems to be tied in some way with humanity's obsession with recreating themselves.

>Humans are very good at single minded repetitive tasks. Other races, such as dwarves, have natural talent with certain crafts, but humans have a single minded persistentness that allows them to devote an entire lifetime to a single craft, or even a single piece of art/craftsmanship.

>Humans have a very different relationship with corruption than other races. If another species falls to corruption of some sort they almost always give themselves over to their new master. Well here's one thing that comes from my time playing gnolls all the fucking time.

Humans call EVERYTHING they see that is sapient and stands on two-legs "human-like". They're that egocentric and arrogant.

Gnolls? Hyena-men.

Strangely the only ones safe from that treatment are dwarves, orcs, elves and the like.
