I'm looking to build a campaign where the majority of the regular action takes place within a generic high fantasy MMO.The idea is that some asshole is doxxing the players, and murdering them.
Which system(s) would you suggest I use for this game?

Why not use an actual MMO? Like, just play it in Tera or something.

Because I want to run a turn based table top game. Not over see a small guild in an actual MMO.

4e of what?

Dungeons and Dragons Fourth Edition
>>53504540
Log Horizon, duh.
>>53505083
i really dont like 4th ed but i do agree with you.
for a mmo-like setting, go 4th ed dnd
>>53504540
4th edition d&d is the most video gamey system I can think of

this^
my one piece of advice, as someone who has done something similar, is to keep the stuff in the real world either dice-free, or use a very different system. Something that'll really play up the contrast between the two.

Did a ruleset for that actually get published?

To be honest I was considering GURPS for the real world half.
May I ask how you game went?

Huh, what do you know.

I just grabbed the .rar, so we'll see.

Alright, I've got three .xml lists, Enemies, Items, and Skills, and a 39 page .txt rulebook.
I'll read through this when I get off work.

Seconding this
>>53504540
GURPS

Considering GURPS Lite for the "real world" half of the game.
