Mortal Wounds don't even deal damage, they are just dealt in groups. That's all the "rolling over" stuff is, is GW explaining that if an attack says it deals D3 Mortal Wounds it is not 1 Wound dealing D3 damage but D3 separate Wounds.

Armoured Autocannon sentinels are so good I don't magnetize them. Dont need missile launchers as I got hwts of them, lascannon sucks on bs3, plasma cannon is ok but I'm not a fan of plasma, Heavy flamer is only good on scout, multilasers are all on my chimera so I don't need more.
I plan to run 6, maybe 9 depending on how much I like them during game play.

Someone, either in this thread or another, pointed out how vehicles and units are point-priced independently of their weapons and how even the basic lowest denominator weapon is also point-priced.
I've seen speculation that this would make it fairly easy to homebrew units. One suggestion was for Orks to be able to loot anything from any faction with a "Vehicle" keyword, but using weapon profiles from the Ork's own lists to equip the vehicle.

If this is indeed a universal constant, and if individual infantry units from separate factions are comparatively and fairly priced against one another, it should be fairly easy to homebrew IG units equipped with Tau weaponry, at a reasonably fair points cost, to simulate gue'vesa for friendlier or fluffier games.

Chaos Space Marines might have an easier time mirroring some more modern Imperium counterparts, that I've heard them bitch about not having access to. I think the specific example was drop pods. Speaking of drop pods, Sororitas could borrow the datasheet from Space Marines as well, stick their own weapons on it instead for a hopefully balanced price, and field the classic Dominica pattern again.

All of this would theoretically be very straightforward with a whole lot less gay faggotry from homebrew autists like Space 0din who get balance just as wrong as GW.

Then again, I made my 30k ones fairly bland legion style without any wolfety-wolf stuff. I do plan on looking into alternative helmets on the primarines I intend to do, MkIV just doesn't do it for me on them. And, if possible, do like a studded shoulder pad on one shoulder. Thought I think the models don't allow changing out the shoulder pads without cutting and grinding the old ones out first.

Leandros please. The codex was never meant to be a hard rule set that out lined the only way to do things. Now, legions are never ever coming back, and legionfags should kill themselves. Legions are a inferior structure to the chapter: the chapter can litteraly do everything a legion can, since legions were already divided into chapters anyways, and full strength is the same as a multi-chaoter crusade now, but without one guy being in charge of all those marines. So if a chaptermaster goes chaos, we lose 1000 or so at most, not half the space marine legions.

That's entirely different though. The issue that the codex was trying to adress was the one that the Horus Heresy revealed: commanders of legions being able to take there armies and rebel.

Guilliman is now far closer to the emperor during the HH than Horus: he's in charge of the entire Imperium, so there's no worry about him rebelling against the imperium, only people rebelling against him. He, as """leader"""" of the imperium, can't really rebel against the imperium, that just doesn't make sense

The whole point of Gravis armor is that it has extra plating that is attached to the regular primaris one. That means it isn't a "gut", but reinforced armor. Also marine heads aren't supposed to be larger than regular human ones.

Have you considered that those extra plates and the armor itself is a highly advanced mechanized suit that adjusts itself as the marine moves?
