I need to have a moment of honesty, with all of you. That's why I've summoned all of you to the Warehouse. It's been a long time, hasn't it? Some of you have been with me for centuries, now. With each jump, I'm becoming both more and less than I was before. But I don't have a real direction. I just keep walking on this road and may never leave it. I know the years have started to drag on for a lot of you. The charm of adventure only lasts so long. And I know some of you have unfinished business in your home worlds. Bastion, Hope, you've both been talking about the ongoing Omnic Crisises in the former's world. Azuka and Luke, I can see the eyes you make at each other and talk about wanting to settle down. Blue, I understand that I'm not the regal uncrowned king you hoped I was, and I haven't done much to expand my influence anywhere. Erika, if you're really so discontent with being on this road, even times you can be a detective without anyone pulling your strings, I'll hear you out, too.

Don't know if Disney change it but Ryloth (home planet) has a thin line of habitability between burning and freezing with firestorms sweeping across the land. They never discovered FTL so they were reliant on aliens for space travel.

Sometimes, you can't kill enemies. Little things like 'they have important roles' or 'they have a network of informants who would be lost if they died' or 'you need them to perform some task for you' but also they're terrible people who will do terrible things and you're not interested in reforming them.

So. The next best thing is to enthrall, or otherwise forcibly turn someone into a long term minion.

I'm hoping for something 'fire and forget' where I can bind a target to my will semi-permanently, maybe after subduing them or something. Originally I was eyeing up World of Darkness's Blood Bond, but while I don't mind the monthly maintenance, the actual means of loyalty is too erratic to my tastes. (I'm hoping for something with less maintenance as well, granted.)

My current fallback is something from Simant, but I admit I find that one distasteful since it requires eating the subject, and while the copy is loyal in the way I desire, there's also a fairly significant loss of capacity that kind of defeats the purpose of keeping a high functioning operator around.

Behemoth is dynakinesis. I seem to recall that he can only manipulate one form of energy at a time. He switches very, very rapidly, but it's still there, so you can overload his ability. You just need to deal with his comical toughness at that point.

To answer what I think is your real question: I think he'd be able to snuff a magical conjured flame, but not stop you from continuously creating flame; it's just that at some point a magical effect begins to be propagated by physics from the magical source. So he couldn't do anything about the magical source, but he could do something about the propagated effect.

Of course, then there's Balefire from Wheel of Time. I'm pretty sure that'd just fuck him right on out of the timestream... and replace him with a different Endbringer, except nobody remembers it but also different cities have been wrecked in different ways? I guess it depends how hard you retcon him out of existence.

So at first, I thought this was going to be a pretty fun jump. I was going to be a super butler who was going to stick to the sidelines, relax, and for once not give away my origins as a Jumper or the Destroyer of Worlds. Except something became horrifyingly apparent mere days after my entry and awakening into my newest incarnation.

This world wanted me DEAD.

I made a faux pas and ended up pissing off a powerful mob boss shortly after I had dodged a speeding semi that then crashed into a gas station and exploded in front of me (miraculously hurting nobody else), a hurricane struck the place my mansion was at, my sing rings kept leading into open volcanos, and Voyager went bankrupt (again). I am now running for dear life as the world finds increasingly contrived ways to inconvenience or murder me and I'm running myself ragged. Just how can this get any-WAIT NO! I WAS KIDDING! While I don't really keep a close eye on it, I do have a Gift Shop attached to the Hot Springs Hotel that comes with a small workshop attached. Santa can usually be found there with Jeradine (a Doll) manning the cash register should a customer actually wander in. Santa, predictably, makes mostly toys based on the past worlds we've been to. He enjoys old fashioned tin and wooden toys, but also enjoys stitching together stuffed ones.

As for a delivery service, while I don't talk about her much, I do have a witch on staff specifically for that purpose. Kiki, a British Witch who seems completely unconcerned with the fact the world outside the Hotel changes every ten years or so, handles it with her broomstick and a little teleportation magic. While outside orders are rare, they do occasionally happen and she's off like a shot. I'm sure she has some kind of pseudo-invisibility magic as well, because I've never once seen anyone report about a girl flying around on a broomstick, no matter the setting.

Overall the whole affair doesn't make much, but it keeps Santa busy and he seems to enjoy his work.

Personally I'd vote for a cross-over event with Kamen Rider. Decade has crossed the streams once again and brought villains from all eras into the MHA world, while a number of Riders accidentally hitch a ride. Shenanigans ensue.

Old King Jumper is maybe my favourite drawback ever, so thanks for that. But just to clarify, future!Jumper isn't meant to be all that interested in causing our death, just untold despair and irreversible damage to our psyche? And is their goal meant to be turning the jumper into them, ensuring their own creation? (That's sort of how I'm reading it, but not sure if it's meant to be more general).

With Elder God Hybrid, how strong would you be in your parents domain, compared to other regular boosted/unboosted domains?

Does Jumperforce cap out eventually? If it's tens of thousands of years to equal Odin. are we far beyond him given hundreds of thousands?

Not even Malefor could get me to beg for death, that first jump we met.
Although there did come a point where I finally stopped talking, and just waited for the jump to end, because it was easier than anything else.
I think it still took a few months for Vee and Vera to find me, after that.

Well, I've invested pretty heavily into shapeshifting, so... it depends on what you mean.
In between altforms, I have a bunch of tattoos and birthmarks that create a mishmash across my arms and back that stay between them. Stuff like the Joestar birthmark, my War Trophies tattoo, the mark of Slaanesh, the Outsider's Mark, just a bunch of shit.

In terms of shapeshifting, not really. JITTAGALL from Redwall means I always smell of lilacs, but I wouldn't really call that a "tell".

A lot of my companions have trouble finding me, if I don't make some effort to keep in contact.
Neet always finds me really easy, though, because she respawns instantly near me on death.
Vee doesn't have any trouble picking me out either. I asked him how that is one time, and he said, "Even if you pretend you're different, your heart is always the same."

... which is a little creepy, if I'm honest.

Guardian Force, it's basically the equip system for Final Fantasy 8.

You junction (equip) GFs to characters, then you can select what skills you want to give the character to use in battle. For example, you could give them the ability to use items, cast magic, summon the GF, or more specialized abilities like Devour or Recover. You can also junction magic to a character's stats to boost them, which you kind of have to do both because your characters gain so few points on level up, and because monsters scale to your level.

It's a lot more intuitive than it sounds.

This is the story of two souls cursed by Heaven.

He would use his abilities not for his own power and influence, but to safeguard the weak and the helpless, asking for no reward before continuing in his way. He had plenty of opportunities to take whatever he desired - treasures, power, women - yet all he ever sought was the light of his guiding star.
