Money becomes a non issue once you can summon earth elementals to mine gold for you. OR you go into a cleaning service and make mad bank with just fucking Presdigitaion alone. Or pretend to be a chef. OR a million other things. Money is a complete non-issue to a reasonably clever wizard.

Also, "Low Magic" settings are just as harmful to Martials as it is to casters, perhaps even more so, sinnce the game is built around the expectation you have X magic items to be competent at your job

I've noticed that there are quite a few ways to reduce a body to ash/fine dust in one go. Just how many are there? Off the top of my head, I remember Disintegrate, the assassin's dust item, elder mythos cultist channeling, one of the options in the destruction sphere, one of the aether blast options for the Avowed, and the Crimson Templar's capstone.

Question for DMs:
I've got an Incanter PC with the Weather sphere. As of the last level-up, they're capable of stacking three severity 7 effects with a single casting.
This is a boat-based campaign, and they have in the past used Weather to fuck over ships.

Now that they can drop tornado-strength lightning-blizzards on ships, I'm sure that at some point they'll try to drop half a day of hell on somebody.
What would a high-quality warship (8th level or so top crew) have that would likely be able save their asses?

It seems to be more for the GM to use so far. You get helped and a quest from the nicer outsiders you pull in, you get teleported to the next big mission place 'accidentally', or the GM has had enough and throws baddies at you in an attempt to TPK.

You could mess around with it a few times and have the players re-roll race when coming out or messing with some of them by shrinking them.

Hunter seems like a gimped Ranger. Is it actually better than what it seems?

Ranger actually has some awesome spells, they're just crippled by being in a class that doesn't actually want to cast anything. outside of a few things. Allfood and Gravity Bow are excellent examples of that, and hunter gets access to them earlier and with more ease of casting than ranger.

I'm playing a Posseses Battle Suli in a Reigns of Winter Group. What are the odds I'm going to die before reaching 3rd level to get martial prof/heavy weapon prof and how hard should I ask the GM to allow me to flip my mysteeies for 1st and 3rd level?

Looking at the Ranger list, they actually get a few things earlier than other classes do; animal Growth at level 4, for instance, and Named Bullet at level 3

An actual ranger can't pick up Named Bullet until level 10; if they haven't pumped Wisdom, they can't even cast it until level 11. Hunter, meanwhile, can grab it at level 7; the same level as a wizard (earlier than a sorcerer!), but the Hunter is much more capable of using the spell properly. Particularly if they've picked up a musket or something.

So to be a Possesed Oracle, your first mystery needs to be the Two Minds mystery. I like to dip into gunslinger. Getting a bunch of deeds, a free gun, gunsmithing, and that sort of thing is pretty valuable, even if you don't stick with the class. It's also a full BAB, 10 HD class, with two good saves and decent (though not great) skills.

If I were to make a build around it, I'd probably go with a Trench Fighter that has a one level dip into Gunslinger, since that'd let me snag all the feats I need for the "archery" combat style and gives me dex-to-damage with specific guns ahead of time.

How dead is a prebuild cleric character with Con 9? Is there any way to fix it?

I find it very interesting. Whenever you mix science and fantasy like this (and even sometimes when it's pure fantasy, like in Eberron) the question of constructs having souls comes up. There's a few really interesting things we can infer from this statblock they provided of the ship in that post.

Looks like this is a section for crew slots, defining how many people can be working on a given position at a time, and it provides bonuses to the pilot based on equipped gear and type of ship? interesting. this also basically flat out tells us that one-man ships will be a thing, so if any of you want to get your ace pilot on, you can. I imagine taking down a much larger ship in a tiny fighter will feel amazing.

So I plan on making a Duetist Bard. At level 6 I can do the following:

Depending on how many wizards are running around, that's entirely reasonable, and even classic. a lot of older stories have dark lords being whispered to by their animal spies - the Wheel of Time has a great example with carrion birds being spies for the darkness, and the borderlands had a tradition of shooting any that they saw so they couldn't report back.

Seems like it's the same concept here, just writ large. I say keep it; it's a nice bit of flavor description.

I'd say make it fairly common among the more experienced warriors and rogues, but not so common as to be common knowledge (since they want their own adepts to be free to do whatever, and making the killing habit common knowledge flies in the face of that). they have a vested interest in doing the thing and getting others to do it, but never explaining the why.

As a bit of flavor description, if there's a a group of people that hate casters, it's not a bad idea to have them kill small animals like crows, hawks, and weasels and pin them in visible places as a warning to mages that they aren't welcome.

No this is entirely reasonable in fact it survives as a metatrope. Vermin were bad luck for other reasons (among others they ate all your goddamn grain for next spring), but the whole 'glowing eyes watching in the dark' shit directly references rats, cats, ravens, etc. that are either familiars of witches or the witches themselves.
I imagine it's certainly a common practice for experienced thieves, esp. those infiltrating locations that have a good chance to have mages in them like noble houses or old crumbling towers, to kill literally every small animal that's lingering for too long near them.

I'm slowly introducing a different kind of magic system into the game. It is incompatible with normal magic, but they can affect each other. Just now, a highly trained person developed a scroll to detect such magic, let's call it old magic.
The campaign is around the classic "return of old shit" idea, and I want my players to interact with it personally. They went around smashing shit already, fighting it (because it obviously wants to destroy the world or so they think), but they don't use it themselves.

What is the best way to incorporate these effects without turning everything upside down? If anyone can get it, it would be too much, but if not, why would they?

If the Old Gods are coming back then it's extremely likely they're coming back in patches. Perhaps only champions chosen by the gods can understand it. Maybe you need to study their old form, as opposed to arcane writings in common use today (think reading ancient Persian scrolls or Chinese texts or Sanskrit engravings instead of Greek volumes). I want to try making healers great again, and I'm going to base it on Chloromancers from mmo rifts. So I have to ask first, just how much can you boost a save DC?

I want an ability based on infecting enemies and triggering it to siphon health. Idea was that you hit them with your standard, then as a swift you activate ALL infections. To get un-infected, they have to save on their turn, scaling penalties for how little time they take to do so (auto success for a full round, bonus as a standard, normal as a move, penalty as a swift)
