The Future of Go Summit thread & AlphaGo v. Ke Jie!
----
First match starts soon. If you missed the AlphaGo v. Lee SeDol matchup, but heard all the hubbub following it, this match is even bigger with much more media attention.
This will probably be the last time AlphaGo plays, to be honest. Deepmind will be focusing on other endeavors including Starcraft 2 after this match up.
My money is 3-0 AlphaGo.
Opinions? Does anyone even care? Livestream here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-HL5nppBnM
Holy shit. Ke Jie just played the 3-3. He's going to beat AlphaGo by playing the moves it invented but hasn't trained on.
GOOD LUCK ALPHA-CHAN!
Ke Jie is focusing on territory, but he has a lot of moyo in the top right, probably roughly equal to AlphaGo's moyo in the bottom.

Where do these images come from?

>by playing the moves it invented but hasn't trained on
There aren't any. A significant part of its training was playing itself.

Is the game over or is it still going? Your video is 6h long, so I dunno if I should watch from the start or not. I remember when Lee SeDol played, and the hype around his one victory. Pity we never got a proper series of threads going.

He lost by a tiny bit.
I'm so fucking happy there's a thread on go. I forgot about that match. Dunno if there's anyone for discussion, since there plenty of place on lifein19x19 or r/baduk for that, but redmond doing any review ? results maybe ?
btw, fucking sad that they do starcraft 2 instead of broodwar

oh well, any bump is welcome I guess

Oh cool. I'll watch it tomorrow night
>>53388673
As expected then. Nice work alpha-chan

Rather than bumping for no reason, why not try get a game going. I believe https://online-go.com/overview is still the place to go

I don't really know how to play. Just interested, so bumping to see any interesting commentary pop up.
