Yeah, there's several versions of quite a few of the myths - normally Aphrodite is pretty early in the chain (like where Eros is there) and born from the sea (which may or may not be primordial chaos)

Fun fact - the moons of Jupiter are named after the mythical lovers of Zeus/Jupiter - it's not until we gets to moon 34 (Euporie) that they had to start using the names of his (minor) children
