+1 and +2 refer to super mentalities which, when active, tell the team to get increasingly aggressive and push up further.

There's also -1 and -2 which tells the team to get more defensive.

Think of it like Bloodbowl-
If you go +1 or +2, you're looking to kill people and sweep up the field. If you're -1 or -2, you're probably playing pointy ears.

Moving aside from the jokes, Super-mentality is a pretty dangerous tool, because it can lead to goals, but it opens up holes in your defense and offense respectively. For example, if you go -2, then you're opened up to sudden counter attacks, and if you go +2, your players move out of position when the other team is driving up the field. Generally, +1 or -1 is really all you need, and not even touching the Super Mentalities is a perfectly fine tic-tack.

It really depends on the team, and what cards and Advanced Tic-tacks you're using, like memenepress. If you want to learn more, I recommend checking the wiki: implyingrigged. info, and go look at the Glossary and /wiki/Pro_Evolution_Soccer_2017/Tactical to learn more.
