GURPS, tried to run a setting where WWII simply never ended, took place in 2100. Lots of weird monster people and stuff. Players were a Neo Nazi and a Brazilian. Self explanatory as to why I gave up.

I've tried multiple IRL Fallout PNP games, but I live in a town filled with uncreative stoners and psychotic tweakers. Failed due to interpersonal drama.

Shadowrun failed because I as a human being cannot handle those fucking car chase rules, and the 5E folks I was running for couldn't even handle hacking.

A small logging town slowly turned tourism spot over the years finds itself in the middle of the largest protest in Canadian history. With Police resources strained to maintain peace between the two sides, and media coverage not budging an inch between interviewing loggers and protesters, in the background there's no one but the locals talking about a string of petty theft, break ins, pet disappearances, and strange markings scrawled on the sides of buildings. I was planning on running this game almost a year ago, but wasn't able to get enough players at the time. With Twin Peaks coming back now seems like the perfect time to find people who would be interested in this niche kind of story. Saw this thread and got a bit excited ... but it all seems to be focused on online games. Which is great and all but I've never been able to get into it with much success. I like actual groups and the BS giggles.

For what it's worth, though, I'm in my 50s and in the St. Augustine, FL area.

I'd like to find an active group that would be interested in Rolemaster or Harn. I ran campaigns for both over many years. I never see anything about those games here, though. I also liked to play CoC and RuneQuest.

Sci-Fi Dungeon Crawler set around the passengers of a Mass Transport Vessel having mis-jumped and crashed in a distant alien system.
The game will be ran like a drop-in/drop-out Survival Horrpor game, in the vein of Metroid, DOOM and Alien Swarm

Not super attached to any setting, mostly looking for people that actually fit well as far as tone I generally like to run. I have the Cannon PDF of it. along with some minor changes.

The big difference im running with is is Magic and the nobility being always just sort of intertwined. Nobles in setting are considered nobility because they have supernatural powers. Its something the Vaticine doesn't like, but has to deal with.
Rather than it just being a Fad that happened because La'Empurer is doing it and now everybody in Thea thinks its cool.


Otherwise, some minor historical changes and cultural adjustments. Things that wont really come into play that often or really matter unless your character is an archaeologist or an Innish nationalist.


...oh, and skills. gutted the shit out the skills system, made it more like l5R. takes away some of the ability to specialize like crazy. But theirs now a hell of a lot less to by and its not spread out peace meal over 160 different random subgroups. Have a google doc for that.

Its not a preexisting chapter I am afraid, I don't want to bend anything. So instead I just randomly generated one using the 1d4chan chapter generator

It came up with:

>Hate the Eldar with a passion
>Recently reduced to 10% of their fighting strength due to a battle with the Eldar

The final chapter is vaguely Arthurian in nature and seek an ancient relic called the Grail of the Emperor which was stolen by a craftworld after the chapter had taken one of their maiden worlds as their homeworld.
