Is Sebastian still around? Because I have a few things to say, plus an important question:

In truth, I can even guess which of my ancestors was from the land of the Zodiac. For, no kidding (and in real life) my great-grandfather was a mysterious traveler who stayed just long enough to make my grandfather and then left on his journies. Clearly a dalliance by the former king almost a hundred years ago!

And most of the children from this line are women, too. There are exactly six males in this line, all of my generation, all within ten years of each other's age, all unmarried, all in the same town.

So why was I chosen? And not them? I certainly hope this will not turn into a 6-way war where the 12 princesses are not only fighting each other for dominance, but picking between me and my cousins to decide which will be king in the first place.

Right Sebastian? Right?!!
>>
>>53311917
Not him, but he already answered this. Obviously you were born under the right stars to give you an unquestionably-superior claim.

Thalciomache Palcadia
>Olympic Parentage
>Ariella

>Lothorio (2pts because Inheritance) 48
>Unyielding Flesh 34
>Armed With Wings 29
>Demihuman 26
>Lightning Seer 22
>Ocean's Herald 12
>Marlin's Quickness 7
>Grace of the Deer 0

I'd do all the quests, not all at once of course, and improve my abilities and learn new spells along the way.

24pts for all 12 quests.
>Serpent's Reflexes (already had Grace of the Deer) 21
>Medicus 15
>Lord of the Inferno 6
>Stormcaller (already had Lightning Seer) 0

I happen to be a winged naga. A very unusual creature born from an ill-fated love between the Goddess Ariella and a great serpent. I fly through the clouds searching for my place in the world and trying to do good things for people. I'm usually very peaceful, but can fight if I have too. Even though I seem immortal, I actually have a weak spot my belly-button.

>Incredible Vegetable
I travel to the plant and drive away the bugs with rain and lightning. Then I study it to try and unlock it's secrets. I use my knowledge of potions and what I learn from the plant to make a potion from one of the leaves that gives me Healer magic. I take the seeds to some monks who I think will bring the plants back and not abuse them.
>Whales in the Sky
I spend time with the whales to find out and fight out what's happening. Hopefully I can use what they tell me to make a potion to cure their sickness.
>The Kyphian Mines
To cure the whales, I need a artifact from the Kyphians. When I arrive at the old Kyphian mines, I here about the missing pioneers. I search for them as I look for the artifact to cure the whales.
>A Divine Affair
The Goddess Lenya notices my beauty and sees me trying to use my gifts for good. She tries very hard to convince me to live with her in her realm of flowers and cloud castles. But because of my wandering ways, I can't settle down for good. Not even with a Goddess. We part ways amicably and she teaches me more about healing magic before I go. This is where I get the Medicus ability.
>The Fire Witch
I follow the Witch from high above in the clouds. I discover her coven having a meeting that seems pretty sketchy. The next time she's alone I ambush her and wrap her up in my coils so I can question her about what's going on. I report the questionable coven to local paladin order, but conveniently forget to mention the Fire Witch and help get her back to her old job with Prince Kasper. She teaches me fire magic as thanks, since she didn't get along with the dark witches anyway. That's how I learn Fire Mage magic.

>Devil Without a Cause
I fly up to the Elemental and explain to him that he's causing problems for other people by staying here, and that there's other Elementals for him to talk to in other parts of the universe. I help get him to trust me by doing some tricks with the fire magic I already know. After convincing him to move on, he teaches me more fire magic to thank me for telling him where the other elementals are. That's how I advance to Lord of the Inferno.
>Always Read the Manual
To convince the Fire Elemental to move on, I have to learn about the plane where the great elementals live. Turns out there's a King who's looking for a book about ruling. It's lost a great ancient library. I figure I can find something about elementals while searching for his book. This helps with the other quest.
>Boss Monster
I use my powers to fight the beastman horde and their evil leader. People who I've helped join in the fight against evil. Ariella and Lenya give me a boon to help survive the fight. This is where I get Serpent's Reflexes. My storm powers increase to Stormcaller from me using them so much for this.
>A Peaceful Village
>Chesswolf
>Solve My Riddle
These 3 are a bit trickier. I do my best to solve each one as best I can, but as I'm not a great solver, I also seek the help of other heroes to help with these.
>Door to Door
Being a great heroine, I'm chosen as a ambassador to the new world. I travel through the door and have new adventure and meet new people. I return now and then to report what I find to the old world.

Could the door to another world be to another cyoa world?

If I went to other cyoa world as Palcadia, it'd be the Alt History one where I made Sitmut-Nefert and we had that rp. I'd fit in perfect there.

Perfect, thanks. I guess I'm lucky, being a Gemini born on June 18th, 1987, then.

Oh, well. It would certainly make for an epic anime or visual novel, having six contenders for king, twelve potential brides, and this entire city getting fucked the hell up. It's small enough that one could imagine all major areas involved, but big enough to hide in.

Oh, one more thing: The way ZBG portrays getting caught by Vignette makes her slightly terrifying. I am suddenly scaroused, This makes her EVEN BETTER.

Anyway. Hey everyone, what were the other signs I was supposedly compatible with, again?

The spirit of gin grants you a dead kitten, love letters to your first crush she never read, and a reminder of how much debt you're in.

The spirit of whisky grants you a really great piece of grilled meat and a fireside.

The spirit of red wine has you wake up naked in a guy's bed without any memories of the prior evening.

The spirit of absinth made inspiration strike while you were sitting on a toilet, causing you to begin writing the greatest story onto a roll of toilet paper, but you lost your train of thought at some point and by the end you were just drawing tiny flowers onto the paper.

The spirit of vodka talkes you into taking a shitload of russian food with you. Back home you remember just HOW fatty it is, and how disgusting when cold.

Have an educated guess on how well she holds her liquor. Anyway, might inspire you.

Making an Endbringer build to spice things up early. We're assuming this exists in a different universe, right ?

>Humanoid
>40 meters

>Megastructure
>Summoning
>Elementalism

Regnum is a humanoid skeleton wrapped in gray cloth that never seems to break. His motives seem to be less about attacks and more of disruption - he can use his four powers in conjunction to build and alter entire landscapes and citys at a time, making his own twisted worlds and kingdoms within the bounds of his power, full monstrous summoned creatures that patrol the boundaries, even after he leaves. Even after, the entire city is laid with traps and turrets, using advanced technology not even the top tier thinkers or tinkers have been able to understand.

Maybe? We could just say "No trump powers". I still want to lose the 25 shard powers, they're pretty broken too and don't feel like thy're in the spirit of worm. Same with abaddon shards.

I kinda disagree. Glastig and Eidolon seem on par with the 25 Shard powers IMO, stronger than some. Abaddon kinda fucks with humble beginnings, but is otherwise not so bad.

I think really the only things that ruin the spirit of worm are bullshit 'loops' like 'I abuse power fluctuation, kingmaker and mirror images' that are just interpreted super generously, Shard Administration and the second triggered Shard Works. Other than that, even the BS stuff seems like it's within the limits of Worm's top echelons. I do think that Broken Limiter should be banned too though, just to get rid of the 'lel I one punch them :^) ' risk.

The spirit of rum hands you a cigar you tried to smoke the night before, but which made you vomit. And also, of course, a child-sized pirate's hat, because people only drink pure rum when they want to feel like a pirate.
>>
>>53313404
that's not the only reason i drink it

I'm just translating and posting. But her opinion is: you drink rum in a cocktail, or when you ran out of other stuff and want to feel like a pirate.
>>
>>53313360
True, but those super-powered ones like Glaistig are the exceptions, not the rule. Loops are broken too. I think these these rules work the best:

1) No trump powers
2) No abaddon shards
3) No 25S powers

That stops all the really broken shit and leeaves things more balanced.

I don't think it's so unfair to let anons have their fun when it comes to powerwank, though. My only issue is when it genuinely becomes impossible to counter like 'lol I have all the powers'. If we're rocking Endbringer people, I don't think it's too harsh to let Eidolon/Glaistig-tier heroes run around too.

So the most compatible are Aries, Leo, Libra and Aquarius, huh? And least compatible are Virgo and Pisces?

Well, I suppose I can imagine how Vignette and I wouldn't get along. I'm a fairly boisterous person prone to rapid changes in mood, though rarely is it deep anger. My loud voice when happy, excited, annoyed, shocked, laughing, or competitive might scare her. D:

The first is trivial to handle with assassination, given that it gives nothing except for bullshit offense. Absolute Path to Victory is somewhat mitigated by the fact that I don't think the 'Blindspot' perk is negated by it even if it works on entities and Endbringers, so all the other builds will be fine, and 'kek luck' is basically only as strong as you want it to be.

You misunderstand me. When I say bullshit loops I mean hacking the wording of different powers to break the whole system (Another example being 'Endbringer Mastery power, I get Tohu to copy Mirror Image, Shard Administration, Kingmaker, have her use Admin to remove Kingmaker's limits and then she gives me all her powers'), not simple power feedback loops with implicit upper limits like with Two.

>>53313545
>>53313258
Also, from sign alone Lucianna might be the most compatible. Of course this is not based on sign compatibility, and there's much more than that.

But I am not at all against marrying Red Saber on the face of it. Not that I would let her rule the roost in and of herself. Things might get quite competitive. Hell, I wouldn't be averse to funding political opponents just to distract her and give her something to defeat. Not serious ones, nor ones that endanger the realm. Just something to stir up some excitement and competition.

I wish I had saved the rest. I need to look at everyone again.

Wrath, real name Jason Andrews, is an incredibly troubled person, mentally. His first day in this world - to put it lightly- was hell on earth. He was just a normal person, without powers, who was berated and abused by every person he'd come upon - finding no solace or peace. Then, the Endbringer came. Wrath triggered then and there - in the midst of a fight between the most capes he'd ever remembered seeing and a giant skeleton. He can't remember much after that - except getting scooped up by some capes that saw him trigger, where he was offered therapy, medical attention, and a spot on a superhero team to further ease him out of his amnesia, and the obvious trauma that had unfolded around him.
Whatever happened to Wrath that day, it left permanent scars. A strange form of multiple personality disorder - one was a frightened child, who didn't easily trust people, always afraid of nearly everything. The second was an extremely hateful being, that wanted nothing but to spread violence. The being manifested itself in a projection over Wrath whenever he was endangered - the torso of a red humanoid creature, with the head, demon-like in nature. Whenever Wrath was put on the battlefield, he was in a constant struggle to only use his other personality when he really needed to, whenever they were losing a fight. Without it, Wrath was useless, as his projection/personality was useless without the human and the human useless without the projection. Wrath could hit hard, naturally, but his childlike personality didn't like to hurt people - he could turn into fire, sure, but he didn't like burning people either, and there wasn't much point to being made out of fire unless everything else around him was made of fire.
This is where the Stand comes in - the other personality lets him hurt people and use his powers, while also summoning weapons for the both of them, and using it's omni-combustion to set the surrounding area on fire.

I'd say it'd be shit for a story. You want to be able to empathize with the heroes and heroines, and if the main girl is a cheating slut who'll go with whoever has the biggest dick/is the best at killing, then I'll hate her and be pissed at the story for the MC ending up with her.

I feel like best way to fit 'rival heirs' in would be to have them join up with the princesses you didn't choose to still give them a bet at the throne. Leave it ambiguous as to whether it's the princesses falling in love with someone new, a rebound after you rejected, or just a political alliance to salvage some victory from not getting you for individual anons to decide.

He's a part of >>53312554 's team, when he's a home with his friends, it's the only place he can truly feel safe. On the battlefield, he's truly a cruel judge, but in the midst of good company, he just wants to relax.

I'd imagine the Slaughterhouse 9 tests him by trying to get rid of the childlike personality and making the demon-like one more dominant, most likely through psychological torture instead of physical, as Wrath can obviously handle pain.

Fair points, both. I like second anon's idea, IF rivals happened. You pick your waifu(s) first, then they join up for various reasons. I doubt Leo would ever do it, because she's aiming for the best. But others potentially could.

Of course, in the CYOA in general, I'm not for it, and I'm not asking ZBG to make it happen. Just saying that as a story, it could be done well.

And this ain't a story.

There's really no room for ambiguity. Aint nobody going to want any of those girls if they're fucking their rival, 'muh political alliance' or not. I have some questions that demand clarification for the assurance of the future prosperity of the Zodiac Kingdom, Sebastian.

First, considering Lucianna powers extends as she recruit followers, do you think she will be made a primary target from other brides? Trying to destroy her before she becomes to powerful to be dealt with.

Second, do you think that Brides willing to kill each other like Cassandra or Lizette will be willing to kill civilians en mass to disrupt Lucianna powers?

Third, without my intervention, in your personal opinion, who do you think will most likely win the confrontation?

I'm really happy to talk to Sebastian because I'm having a bad day.

The problem is that "Apprentice" powers are based off of crossovers with your choice of DnD, RWBY, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Star Wars... and Mage: the Awakening, which is what I took. You start off as a newbie, and train your way up.

My build relies on the versatility of Supernal Magic, which has certain applications that can't be found in version 5 (Ghosts, Spirits, sympathy, Astral Realms)

I think that if I wanted to port that power into this version, a fair price would be 20 power points. Five for the Negenthropy effect (Supernal Realms don't run out of power), three for the ability to grow, two for the fact that trump powers can't do anything against me, but if a normal human sees me throwing spells, I get to eat Paradox, and ten because that's a fair price for the stuff a Gnosis 1 Space 3 Mage can pull off.

Clearly not enough Endbringers, so lets add some more!
Name: Ryley "Wendingo/ Yaldabaoth"
Path: Endbringer
Powers:
>Megastructure: Got those mad architecture skills. I guess I'll just build homeless shelters or something.
>Time: I have an unhealthy fixation on this kind of ability!
>Power Mimic: I'm just going to copy Tinker powers, but it's good to have options.
Appearance: A tall, slender, well dressed deer looking guy, usually surrounded by devices.
Size: A paltry five meters.
Flaws
>Sibling Rivalry: I'm the one that isn't a rude asshole, and they're rude assholes about that.
>The Entity known as Yaldabaoth was first spotted October 15, 1987 in Halifax, Canada. While at first it appeared to be a normal, if large, Case 53, later research has determined that it is physically and chemically identical to an Endbringer. It's usual behaviour has been show to be wandering throughout North America, building structures of often unclear purpose, occasionally coming into conflict with both other Endbringers and local power structures. When confronted, it has been shown to use a form of teleportation to immediately escape, and if that is made impossible use a some form of mover power to multiply it's speed exponentially. Avoid contact if possible.

Basically kills something that has a potential concept of death (capable of dying in any fashion). So shit like Perpetuance and Observer would be immune, but relatively little else. Of course, without other powers, you're fragile enough that you're likely to get btfo before you get to use it too much.

Name:
>Oceanus

Scenario:
-Gestation

Path:

Powers:
-Elementalism

-Energy
-Telekinesis

Appearance:
-Beast

Size:
-40 Meters

Flaws:
-All at Once
-Sibling Rivalry

Info:
An unknown serpent-like creature was recently discovered off the coast of North America. It was quickly classified as another Endbringer, not only due to it's immense size, but it's ability to fire highly pressurized jets of water and lightning that managed to take down all surveillance vehicles.

It has also been recorded in combat with other Endbringers although the question why is still under debate.

Although rarely seen on land, the few times it was encountered near the coast, it seemed to have altered all the surrounding terrain into open ocean. However Oceanus has not ventured very far inland with this terraforming ability so it's extents are still unknown. This ability seems to precede Oceanus and has been used as signal of his appearance.

It's other abilities include being able to utilize water as a weapon, much like Leviathan, although Oceanus seems to favor using extremely pressurized jets of water as opposed to large waves and blasts.

Oceanus also has been monitored generating and expelling bolts of electricity although it seems to be a fairly rare occurrence.

Thought to be strictly bound to the ocean, given the fact that Oceanus transforms land into ocean before heading close inland, an impossibly large serpent-like creature has been recorded "flying" in large storm clouds. The only creature resembling the thing in these reports are Oceanus but if this was true, then it must have some sort of telekinesis or flight ability, making it an even bigger threat then was previously believed. However reports of this flying serpent are few and far between, making this nothing but a rumor.

"Hmm...
This is quite an interesting, my Lord, but I shall try to address it as best as I can.

To you answer your question, it is entirely possible. But the Brides are most likely build their strategies around the location of the war and who they're able to find to first.
The Brides shall not be arriving together.
Portals from Zodiac will place them randomly around your town/city of at random intervals and distances. Their only common factor shall be that, should you link them on a map, your home would be the center they all converge on.
The only exception is your chosen Partner, who's portal will appear inside your home along with myself exactly twelve hours before the beginning of the war.
Besides that, remember that each Bride is an individual and personal grudges may or may not affect their decisions.

There's a lot of information to unpack here, so allow me a few additional posts to explain it all.
As an apology, please enjoy this picture of Imperatrix Lucianna.

There was a comedy build the other night about second trigger perpetuance as a villain. Their real power was that they stacked a bunch of the bad luck drawbacks and just caused collateral as they did things and ran away from the horde of people hunting them down.

Their gift was the second chance one because they'd inevitably just get second trigger shard administration'd and then creamed by all the stuff they've been running from.

From the moment he first appeared (seemingly out of nowhere), everyone knew that Demonlord Deathfiend - as he called himself - was a despicable being. A villain so terrible that even other criminals don't want to be likened to him. Its all clear, given how the day he appeared, so many bad things happened it was like a storm had swept through the city.
No one knows exactly what he did (even the capes who fought him that day), but everyone is sure it was very bad.

Nonetheless, his evil agenda must be stopped - as he always goes on lengthy, oddly persuasive speeches about how "showing kindness to children will make them grow weak and bring forth the end of the world" while he robs groceries and markets out of all available candy.
Later, Demonlord and his mooks visit orphanages and schools, forcing children to draw pictures of the villain himself, giving them large bags of sweets for every drawing they collect. The poor staff is unable to do anything but beg for mercy, powerless against the halberd-swinging mooks of the villain.
If capes show up and try to defuse his evil operations while they are in progress, he fights untiringly while his mooks run the business. Once all candy is distributed, he flees with his minions in an old truck, a spine chilling laugh echoing through the streets.

People complain about how OP the 25 S powers are. Nobody seems to notice the combination of Blitz and Invulnerability. Pick a point behind your enemy as your Blitz target, turn on Invulnerability, and slam into them at the speed of sound.

>>
>>53314801
Weak argument. Broken Limiter is canonically invincible as per One Punch Man WoG, and thus should be immune to Death Perception. The problem with mashing together canons is that we get multiple unstoppable force/immovable object debates. It's really impossible to define who beats who without either community consensus or author chiming in.
>>
>>53314870
>Broken Limiter is canonically invincible
But not the shard.
>>
>>53314870
I'd personally err on side of whoever's on the defensive in the argument, if it came up. If Shiki cape is trying to bait a perpetual by saying they could kill them, they can't. If Perpetual is mocking the Shiki, the eyes work on them.
>>
>>53314867
Enough toughness means they would just be shoved out of the way, unless they are held inviolably in place. Just because I have infinite inertia, doesn't mean everyone else does.
>>

To your second question, I'd like to say no, but they may be willing to do a great many dishonorable things should Lucianna, or any other Bride, gain a significant advantage over them.
That said, all the Brides are good, kind ladies deep down regardless of any's... unique personality quirks.
They should only resort to this should they be desperate enough.

For your final question, the answer is based almost entirely on the battlefield and the way things play out, but I can hypothesize for you.

Should Lady Cassandra be able to isolate each of her opponents and fight them one at a time, she stands the best chance of victory. If you live in a particularly cold region, she'll also have a bit of a home field advantage as few of the other Brides is at home in the bitter winters members of House Capricorn are born and raised in.

Talisa stands the greatest chance of victory should she have an abundance of wildlife to call upon for aid as well as many safe vantage points to fire her rifles from.

ZBG already brought this up, but should you live in the wilderness or close to a significant forest, little Vignette actually stands the greatest chance of claiming the Throne. This chance is doubled if the other competitors focus on defeating each other instead of trying to breach her defenses.

Bothe Lady Lizette and Abarathi are unpredictable by nature, making it difficult to guess how they'll fight, which could play into their hand if the others aren't prepared to improvise. In addition, should there be little cover and significant open space, Ms. Aquarius would find it easy to defeat her foes while soaring above them and Libra's representative would be most at home if you live in a particularly arid or warm climate.

The Twins of Gemini are also a wild card, but my guess would be that should they remain hidden until they strike, they would be able to win using guerilla tactics that it can be difficult to defend against.

One moment...
>>
>>53314890
>>53314921

Absolutely no reason to assume that Negentropy can't defend against it. There is Nasu precedent for things existing outside of concepts of death, like Ultimate Ones, and given that Negentropy is outside of the purview of even Entities by CYOA canon, it's not impossible that it would protect the user.

But I'll drop the argument here, it's pointless and cyclical.

As a villain I work for myself, doing and taking what I want. I prefer to stay away from the spotlight, but everyone's always on my ass trying to kill me. You accidentally kill the family of a "hero" and they send the whole organization after you...I still have no idea how they keep finding me. Most enemies never see me coming when I'm on the offensive. I am damn near unkillable, and I can easily kill anything and blink away, but if I can't blink/stealth away from my enemies, I'm fucked. Too much use of my powers and I pass out, making me easy prey. My cat ears and tail help me parkour away when I can't use my powers, and since I've bribed a number of high-ranking "heroes", I MIGHT get a half-minute warning before the cloaks find me try to kill me again.

“What is there to say on the file?”

“Showed up in Philadelphia, 1987, October 15, right in the middle of a regular old sideshow. 13 Dead capes, 298 regular humans, with injuries in the thousands, then Subject Unmentionable vanishes.”

“Second Sighting is Edmonton north of the border two months later, vanished before authorities could do anything. One month later in Vancouver, same situation. Last sighting was set south of the border, in Salem Oregon. That was the last confirmed sighting.”

“However there are plenty of unofficial sightings on the west coast, Unmentionable is essentially bigfoot now. Even has a line of paraphernalia, shit like coffee mugs and t-shirts. Nutters love this subject in particular. However in terms of more concrete evidence there is evidence of Unmentionable making moves on several criminal enterprises and morally ambiguous groups. The Subject is wanted dead in most gangs west of Utah, though serious hard proof of its involvement varies wildly. Most heroes likewise would leap at the chance to take the subject down, not that anyone has made gotten so far.”

“We don't know where the subject is. We don't know what it's capable of, or what it wants. But there are allegations it's running a makeshift orphanage operation down in San Diego. If you want to believe that last lead. Or that Unmentionable is a giant woman bit. Thankfully this one is quiet enough I don't have to refile her papers that often.”

Honestly, the way combo is worded is kinda vague. Do you get stronger? Do your blows just generate more energy from nowhere? What is the equal and opposite force? I think powers in Worm have some amount of protection from themselves due to the Manton effect, so I would just immediately destroy my own arm from the force of the punch. But once my hits start getting up to those silly levels, that is two all ten quantum position punches, I could probably expect to start taking damage from the explosions they're causing just from kinetic energy transfer.

>>53314983
Is that how that works? I only have a cursory understanding of metaphysics of Worm. If that's the case though, I think I might drop being super smart and some of my gear to get it.
>>
>>53314947
There's absolutely no reason to assume it can. It's a power source, and by default, power sources are as vulnerable to damage as anything else. Negentropy just makes it immune to damage from time/entropy.

'Will exist for all eternity' is in the perk's outright description. That's an entirely solid reason to assume that it can. You could also assume that it's solely talking about not running out, equally valid, but we simply don't have the information to determine which of the two is correct.

Surprisingly, Lady Angelica has the biggest chance of success should the other Brides all gang up on her. Once she's set herself ablaze, the more they attempt to damage her, the stronger they make her. Should they injure her significantly enough and if she still has the strength, she could easily be able to dispatch any that oppose her.
She's also the most likely to demolish your city in the process.

Finally, as has been stated many times before, Lucianna would singlehandedly obliterate her competition should you live in a particularly populated area and even more devastatingly if there are a large number of the community with combat training.

It all comes down to circumstance and location, Your Lordship.
It's nearly impossible to predict how things will unfold.

im still confused on how ultimate luck works. wouldnt someone with this power and its second trigger be basically safe at all times? how could anything counteract this power if its literally the power of everything going you way? also what are some practical applications? just seems like a lazy but effective power to me
>>
>>53315179
That's pretty much it. Though someone with something like Path to Victory could probably still get you if they really squeezed out all the variables.
>>
>>53312195
You only get an civilian identity if you choose insert, right? It seems to imply it, but I don't see a hard ruling anywhere.
>>
>>53315116
Good. The hotel will help keep Vignette from instantly winning.
>>
>>53315179
reality is keeping you safe
nothing can counteract it if reality is bended in your favor
its effective but you cant really do anything else assuming thats your only power, no actual fighting or bringing down the baddies
>>
>>53315179
I think that it means that as long as there is a 0,0000000(^10)01 chance of things going your way, they WILL go your way.

I'm just not sure if it can save you from the bullshit Causality Reversal's "can't be blocked or dodged and always hits targets and always kills".
...Even then it could, idk, make it so that the people who would release the projectile gets hit by a meteor and dies before firing it on you.
>>
>>53315116
Gemini Prince again.

My hometown is fucked in this case, and I basically expect all the girls to have their strengths here.

With my luck, Leo will appear at the local Air Force base if I don't pick her. Vignette will either appear in or flee to either the close-by forest or the great wilderness and arboretum park in the city's near-center... and the city itself has enough variety, hiding spots, and verticality of the environment to allow hiding spots and fighting grounds for everyone.

The place will totally be burned to the ground. Final battle surely takes place in the tiny island park in the middle of the city and it's river, where the world fair was held back in the 70's. That'll be the last thing standing, I am sure.

"I would be lying if I didn't say that that did not sound like an exceptionally exciting incarnation of the War to see unfold.
Incidentally, I believe I forgot to mention this, but I and a small number of the Royal Court's most important members shall be watching the war. Though unable to intervene, we will be monitoring your health to ensure you aren't mortally wounded and keeping out for any activity that would violate the Wars very, very few rules."

>>53315019
Oh god, that's a very, very risky build. Safe money is you don't last the first day.
>>
>>53315116
II see, thank you Sebastian.

With this information, I suppose I can have a notion of what is to come. But I'm still unsure about how to proceed with my future marriage.

Do you think that with the elixir of skill and magic I would be able to cast a spell to determinate the location of each bride? I think it would be important to meet some before the others.

How do you think Lucianna would react to the idea of polygamy? I used to fear for Vignette, bur considering I live in a small rural town with less than 20 thousands habitants, maybe she wasn't the one most in dangerous. (Or perhaps, she is the most dangerous one?).

Do you know anything about the style of rulership of Cassandra and Luciana?

Do you think that, if things come to be and I marry the three of them, Cassandra and Luciana would be cruel to Vignette? Cassandra is suppose to be her friend but their social situation would change.

Also... Lizette is no doubt attractive, but what you think she meant writing in such big letters that she would "make me beautiful"?
>>
Would it be possibly for a survival CYOA to be comfy. I've been playing with the idea of doing something like subnautica or minecraft-esque CYOA.
>>
>>53312195
So let me get this straight, if I combine komenos, second trigger of Schrodinger, hyper speed and copycat together.

I can make myself travel at infinitely high speeds indefinitely and just delay the cooldown a month into the future via Komenos, but since time has slowed to planck time I have more time then I'll ever use before a real time month is up.

And if I'm reading the second trigger of schrodinger correctly I can be at least 10 different places at once or maybe more? And copycat allows me to copy any person in one of my superimposed state's 5 meter radius I can copy their powers?

So I have to do is slowly and but surely find the ten strongest entities on the planet (preferably with second trigger death vision and broken limiter) put one of my superimposed quantum states within 5 meters of them preferable away from their sight radius, copy their powers then one at a time kill every single threat in the multiverse at my leisure?
>>
>>53315399
I figured stealth+blink would help keep me relatively safe while I get more aquainted with my powers. I was going for OP escape artist who only has to worry about whole groups of "good guys", cause I can instantly kill any single/small number of Entities and good guys that come after me. Yeah, the overuse of my powers can fuck me up physically, but regeneration with 2nd Trigger should help with that. I've also got lots of non-power attributes to help me find information, plan escapes, battle tactics, fight, etc. Stealth should help me blend into the crowd, so I figure teleport to a crowd (which good guys won't slaughter because they're good) and blend in before they catch up.

Once I'm well aquainted with my powers, I doubt I'd have to hide. Instant kill is way OP, but I figured this was a better build than the Planewalker+immortal build I initially wanted to make, since this one actually has attack power, which I need since I took so many flaws.

Villain Name: Omni

Scenario: Gestation

Path: Villain

Origin: Drop-In

Identity: No Identity

Costume: N/A

Skills: All

Shard: Eden

Perks: Negentropy, Second Trigger x2, Blindspot, x3 Followers, Villain: Mooks, Villain: Connections

Flaws: Nemesis x3, Rough Start x3, Case 53 x3, Worst Day Ever x3, Slaughterhouse 9, Endbringer Target, Villain: Kill Order

Gift: Second Chance

Powers: Observer, Counter: Second Trigger, Copycat: Second Trigger

I am Omni. I exist everywhere and I exist nowhere. I appear near parahumans to copy their powers, and leave without a trace. I am the unseen hand, guiding humanity. Teaching humanity. Improving humanity.

Even causality reversal cannot kill me, as Observers are immune to all shard attacks. Counter: Second Trigger and Blindspot prevents Masters and Thinkers from potentially manipulating me.

My form is invisible, but it is picture related.

(Is there a more OP build?)
>>
>>53312552
Color me interested.
Requesting the Old Fashioned to be put on the list of drinks, not sure what it would do though.
>>
>>53315411
"You're exceptionally interested in this whole thing, Your Highness. ZBG wishes me to express how touched your engagement with the setting makes him feel.

Ascertaining the Bride's locations would actually be very simple and easy magic, considering the time you'll be given to adjust to your new abilities.
You must simply be prepared and smart about you engage them.

Polygamy has never been definitively outlawed in Zodiac, but it's not very common, so Lady Lucianna may not have ever even considered the idea.
She could most likely be brought around to the idea, but you would have to be very careful how you present it to her and be prepared to her that, even if your heart doesn't belong solely to her, you will love and cherish her as much if not more than your other wives.

I can't imagine a situation where either of the girls would be outright cruel to Vignette. Lucianna may even grow to be exceptionally motherly and protective of the girl. Cassandra may be stiff and overly serious at times, but I can't imagine her having anything but love for Vignette in any context outside of the war.

As for the Lady of Libra...
I cannot begin to guess. Her mind works in difficult to understand and sometimes outright unsettling ways. She most likely meant that she intends to do everything in her power to make you the best man you can be. Reach your full potential and remove or at least subdue your flaws.
I don't think she meant it literally...
I hope."

I think it's probably fairest to assume that Observer and Copycat are inherently incompatible, since the 'phantom' you project isn't really you. Your build is still pretty much indestructible (and rightly so given the investment) but probably not capable of mass power-copying IMO.

What's the point of the CYOA choice from exchange student. Wouldn't people just choose one that gives maximum points?
>>
>>53315735
Only because he exists outside reality. If you end up next to him outside of reality, you don't have to use shards. You have fists.
>>
>>53315741
How? Copycat specifies that you need to be near an individual. Observer means that you exist outside of reality and are only capable of projecting a phantom to interact with reality. Personally don't think it would work with Copycat as a result, but it's vague enough that everyone can make their own rulings I guess.
>>
>>53315565
But you have Humble Beginnings + Worst Day Ever x3 + Kill Order, Slaughterhouse, and Endbringer right? On a Dead Shard start.
Normally, you wouldn't have to worry about Slaughterhouse, Endbringers, or people gunning for you at the very start, so Humble Beginnings isn't necessarily suicide. But with Humble Beginnings + Worst Day, you're going to have to acquire your vial from Cauldron before you get powers with everything conspiring to kill you.

Even if you make it through your first day (good luck with that), you don't have any answer to the cheese assassination powers. And with Kill Order + the consequences of Worst Day, things are going to keep trying to kill you nonstop--probably still before you get powers. Regeneration is good, but there are definitely things that can ignore it and kill (or Master) you. Especially with no detection powers.

Out of curiosity, have you read the setting?
>>
>>53315735
well what if you have copycat, second trigger of schrodinger, hyper speed and kemenos?

You go into hyperspeed indefinitely and just keep on delaying the cooldown one month into the future, travel the world and find all the crazy entities and position all your super imposed selves right next to them?
>>
>>53315768
He keeps the power he copies for an hour. Second trigger.
>>
>>53315765
You have absolutely no cause to argue that you can get outside of reality though, given that doing so is a 25-point power in its own right. You might as well just argue that 'given that Shard Administrator lets you manipulate shards, I'm sure you can fuck around to get all the Shards and become an Entity'.
>>
>>53315780
>I'm sure you can fuck around to get all the Shards and become an Entity
How are they created anyway?
>>
>>
>>53315542
I'm working on a survival island that tries to achieve just that by having multple tiers of nemeses from minor things like saltwater crocodiles to things like mercenary manhunters and dimosaurs and more options that revolve sround actually surviving and establishing companions than just running away from evil monsters
>>
>>53315815
They basically evolved over a really long time. Technically, you could totally become an Entity. It'd be a bit ridiculous, but you have ridiculous options, so it's not quite impossible.
>>
>>53315777
I'm aware of that, but you need to get near them in the first place, which I don't think you can because 'you' don't exist in the same world.

>>53315773
Sort of. You're fucked hard if you get exposed to Second Trigger Counter creatively applied (eg, it reverses your Copycat so it transfers your powers to the Counterer, but except for that trick you fuck basically everyone up.
>>
>>53315565
Also worth noting, the reason I'll never take Worst Day x3 + Slaughterhouse is they'll almost definitely show up earlier than they normally would. Which means Hatchet Face. Hatchet Face terrifies me unless I have infallible detection from out of his range. Hell, even Worst Day x2 comes a bit too close for comfort on this.

Mortal Progeny

Boar's strength
Wolf's Run
One Man Army
Exotic Warrior
Fist of God
Lord of the Inferno
Water Adept

Little white blade

Kind of a glass cannon, I want to be able to use improvised weapons and set stuff on fire. Water Adept is so if I set too many things on fire on accident I can put it out and avoid causing a calamity.

Ayme (free)
Nizek (Free from Mortal Progeny)
They both seem like total bros. I can help Ayme get better at Fire magic and Nizek sound like he'd have some great stories to tell and experience to share.

No Mount

Boss Monster

We're going to kill that beast and set all of its minions on fire. We will blacken the sky with smoke and run them out of oxygen.

>>53315772
>>53315890
I was figuring stealth would help against detection, because that's what stealth means. Worst Day x3 is a nightmare, but at I start with money for a ride+silence money as well as blackmail/bluff material in the worst case scenario. Best case is I'm mad high strung as fuck while I try sneaking to Cauldron 1/2 a minute ahead of almost certain death, but it would be worth it once I got my shard
>>
>>53315701
Hmm, maybe. If phantoms can use powers, they'd seem to be similar to Second Triggered Mirror Images, which can also use powers. I never got the impression Second Triggered Mirror Images couldn't use Copycat or any location-specific power.
>>
>>53315953
Only if you get them to burn down Seattle first.
>>
>>53315630
I see. I think I have made my decision for now, at least until the future candidates be able to officially communicate their letters to me.

I don't think I could live in an harmonious relationship with Abirathi, no matter how beautiful or fascinating she is. I have sovereignty duties, and my nature is of a homely person. I don't think that I or Abirathi and her wanderer tendencies could be happy.

Gwendolyn and Gracia seem to think that ruling a country is a joke, and even if I went along with it, I don't think I could keep a promise of never bore neither of them, specially if I plan to live for long.

For similar reasons I don't think both Angelica and I could be happy: I have no intention of heroics, and I don't think it's normally in a kingdom best interests for their king to go around slaying dragons.

And in principle, Talisa don't want certain arrangements that I have in mind.

So I hope that they will all agree that for everybody happiness they better give up, even if I have to cheat in my persuasiveness.

Lizette on the other hand seems like a dangerous individual, and I may have to arrange a less pleasant compromise with her: but I believe that with three allies such should be possible.

Still, one question was left unanswered: what do you think of style of rulership from Cassandra and Lucianna? Would they clash to much to a point of it being harmful to the throne?

Also, you may inform lord ZBG that I'm most pleased to hear such news, as I was fearful that I may have been too much of an inconvenience. I'm deeply grateful for his services in these unpleasant times.
>>
>>53315939
Who do you think would be ruling Sprague?
>>
>>53315965

Can Observer phantoms use powers at all? Mirror Image phantoms have 'interact with the world' and 'use powers' separately listed, whilst Observer only gets 'interact with the world' and if second triggered 'can make neat illusions'. Given that it IS a Stranger power, I wouldn't be surprised if Observer wasn't intended to be capable of throwing around powers and shit in the real world, just absolutely impossible to affect with them in exchange for that.

It's definitely my favourite interpretation at least, since anything else is overpowered to the point of being unfun IMO.
>>
>>53315963
I think you're overrating stealth desu. It's only a mundane skill, not a power, so you're still at huge risk from the shit luck of Worst Day Ever fucking up your stealth or worse, getting you targeted by someone with the kind of powers that normal hiding skills are useless against.
>>
>>53316018
Interesting point, it IS a Stranger power after all.

I made Omni for fun to show how drawbacks are meaningless when taken with Observer, and am working on an actual character now. But Observer simply being a truly immortal, teleporting human is a cool interpretation. I guess some Thinker powers might still work? Observer+Perfect Mind sounds like a fierce but not "I Win forever" build.
>>
>>53316066
I think that Thinker powers and probably some Trump powers that don't explicitly require contact should be fine. I love the idea of an Observer Kingmaker who's basically playing god but ultimately not able to control what its targets do with the power it gifts them, so it has to depend on its ability to judge people effectively.
>>
>>53315963
Stealth means that you're good at sneaking around in regular human ways. There's a character whose power is to know how to accomplish any goal she wants and then make it happen--and you didn't take the perk to make her like you. There are countless combat scientists who can detect just about anything and they're all gunning for you. There are characters who can spy on you from far out of detection range using their powers. There are characters who can talk to you over a videocall (or in person) and then take control of your body for...well...as long as they want. There's a character who can autodetect in the nearby environment and basically swing a skyscraper one-handed. There's a character who, from your drawbacks, will almost definitely be showing up before you have powers and casually drops mindscrambling diseases on entire cities. While holding back.

What I'm saying is that a lot of people have answers to just being sneaky. And a lot of people can absolutely take you out even after you get powers. Almost everyone scary on the continent will be gunning for you from day 1 while depowered and being clever and being sneaky will only stop of a few of them.

Again, have you read the setting?
>>
>>53316049
You have a point there. Maybe I would have been better off doing the Planewalker build. I loved the idea of going to multiple realities, and that skill is almost required to make use of the 'Payoff' "gift". Only one thing kept me from that build: How can you defeat all of the bad guys in all the different dimensions while aging/dying? Since immortality wasn't given to Planewalker, you'd never have enough time to do it before you died. And if you did regeneration+Planewalker, you have no offensive power on the level to kill the entities, and youd still have a fuck ton of flaws to be able to afford it.

Kingmaker doesn't work on Parahumans. If he's willing to use Trump cheese, Second Trigger USW + followers with powers he wants would give him what he wants. Or really creative use of Second Trigger Counter if anyone tries body manipulation on you. Or any of the other Trump options that you could use similarly.

Hmm... the Gemini twins will hide downtown somewhere in the mass of people, and probably wait things out at first. Cassandra would be quite direct and would probably, if she couldn't win straight away, either wait on the South Hill or if it's winter possibly win outright.

Talisa would probably go to the wilderness first off and come back with some augmented brown bears, moose, deer and mountain lions. Oh, and probably nab some horses from the local horse ranchers.

But to answer... Considering how low the buildings on Sprague are, I bet Ms. Aquarius would by flying up around there. If anyone else went there, that and much of the flatter parts of Spokane Valley would be easy pickings for her.

>>53316314
Nothing so specific. Those are just the names of characters in the setting that could give you what you want if you befriended them. And there are options in the CYOA to make yourself part of the family they belong to or to be a character they care about (sort of, double edged sword that). The Panacea girl I mentioned? She's affiliated with New Wave, one of the hero options at the end.

>>53316307
It kind of has. Worm is not a stable, happy universe. There are entire characters who are treated as natural disasters, not people, with government teams that monitor their movements and evacuate anyone who gets near. And some of the monsters are heroes. The average person is relatively safe, though. The odds of something terrifying from any faction locking on to you are really, really low...unless you take that combination of drawbacks, which pretty much guarantees that they're all out for blood with luck shenanigans to boot.

"Umm... I'm not sure exactly what about your comment caused it, but ZBG appears to be experiencing some manner of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder episode.
He just keeps rocking back and forth saying, quote:
Friendly rivalry.
Good-natured competition.
Playful one-upping each other.
I'm sorry.
I'll be good.
Unquote.
So... I think that implies that they can work together harmoniously, they just may get playful competitive from time to time.
I'm sorry I can't get more out him, My Lord, but I think you may have unintentionally opened up a fresh wound from whatever happened last night."

Yeah, but the multiplicative power of the Schrodinger + Combo might well be enough to deplete it. As mentioned, just two (actually twenty) punches would be about half the energy released by the little boy atomic bomb.

That is peanuts to Shards. Considering the sheer number of dimensions they draw power from. . .

"Yes, Lady Talisa is one of the few heirs of Taurus to be adept enough to control insects and the like.
If my understanding is correct her power over animals, while awe-inspiringly powerful, is typically easier to use on larger creatures. Her ability to give detailed commands with immense numbers. Though she could hypothetically command a hive or three of bees to advance or attack. Telling them to go directly for her targets eyes or spell out a message would be quite difficult for her though."

Hero Name: Redux

My actual build! Seems like there are a lot of Villains/Vigilantes/Endbringers running about, a couple Rogues, but not many heroes. Someone has to beat back the darkness!

Redux is a founding member of a new organization (name pending: possible examples include The Good Samaritans, HFB [Humanity Forefront Builders]). The group deals primarily in economic and humanitarian efforts rather than wearing spandex costumes and punching bad guys in the face, though some group associates are simultaneously in another organization that specializes in such. From protecting and organizing rogues to rebuilding destroyed towns to investments in businesses the group seeks to meet the more mundane needs of people everywhere, using a combination of parahuman powers and hard work from normal individuals. Perhaps the following would be interested in joining? >>53313776
>>53313638
>>53312554

As for himself, Redux specializes in mass production and building safe houses in major cities. He uses animated constructs to provide near endless labor for factories, warehouses, construction, etc. His home base is an enormous factory specially built to withstand cape attack, and hopefully stall an Endbringer attack long enough for evacuation. The factory produces ever more animated constructs to send throughout the world.

He is also a chill dude despite being such a weird looking motherfucker. Despite his looks, his relaxed attitude and generosity seemed to have garnered a small fan following.
>>
>>53316875
The issue with the idea has always been how he framed it, not so much the 'threesomes' part.
>>
>>53315307
You think you have it bad? Try living around Killeen, Texas; largest 'small city' in the US and also the front gate of Fort Hood, the largest active (in manpower) military base in the world.
Within 30 miles of there, about 30-40% of the land area is heavily wooded, to the point that deaths in the forests are a common thing; 30-40% is open plains, home to a lot of wildlife and livestock (which are not as nice as most people seem to think); and the remaining 20-40% is Urban. The entire area is an ambusair's wet dream, and...
...Ah, to hell with it. Vignette can stay with me in my 'bunker', hidden deep in the woods. With luck, I'll be able to get Tali to side with us. May have to shoot Lucianna though, before the Army gets involved, even though I'd much rather try to win her to my side and unlike most people here, when it comes to the Army, I can just fucking pull rank, and...

That actually is an interesting problem, Sebastian, if I may ask; would Lucianna be able to sway an organization against you whom you have already had long standing authority over?
>>
>>53316919
The only ones framing the idea that way were the people arguing against it!

Like it isn't hot that for a moment the girls don't lez out and focus on each other for a few minutes. I have a goddamn refractory period, and with a threesome taking a break for a moment might be nice. Possibly to drink some gatorade. Or join in. Join in a lot.

What I'm saying is some people just went waaaaaay overboard on a relatively innocent sentence, interpreting it in the worst way possible.
>>
>>53316925
Ooooh, yours sounds like an even better scenario than mine. Well, except for the fact that Lucianna basically wins outright 90% of the time.

Mine is a little more fair to the other girls. A little.

Also can't wait to see Sebastian answer your question.
>>
>>53316983

"Oh, you're part of one of Earth's militaries, Sire? I commend you and ZBG had instructed me to thank you for your service.
As for your question, the more soldiers she can amass, the more difficult it will be to remind them that they answer to you and they will, in fact, begin trying to convince you that she is a woman you should be following as well.
But, the higher their rank and the closer you are to them, the less convincing she shall seem to the officers at first. But given enough time, your previous standing may be worthless in their eyes.
A feat that would not be possible for her to achieve quickly, but if the forces are as condensed as you say...
Depending on how things play out, given three days without distraction, she could most likely get almost the entire Fort under her command. Though many wouldn't be prepared to die for her, she would have still have endeared herself to them enough to gain their support."

"The only one I could see outright being smug about such a situation would most likely be Scarlatina and even that's a bit of stretch.
Cassandra would only hold it over her if Talisa was being particularly obnoxious and childish about the situation and was relentlessly annoying her about it. She'd almost certainly regret it as well.
Lady Catherine would sooner drown herself that be cruel to anyone, so I don't see that happening.
Scarlatina is a lovely young woman, but she can be a tad smug at times. She'd probably stop before she went too far, but that might be farther than you find acceptable."
I'm surprised you remember that far back.
And I'm just having fun since I haven't said anything about it in a long while. It's not supposed to be a jarring twist as much as I just like seeing people who weren't there jumping to conclusions and figuring out how to word things to keep them as vague as possible.

Hmm. May be tight, but that is where B-02, B-03, and S-12 come in.
I may be able to get to most of the major chess pieces before Ms. Lucianna does. and perhaps even most of the pawns. Perhaps introducing her to 4th Generation warfare will be enough to convince her to hold discourse in aims for a peaceful resolution to the conflict between our parties.
But look at me, making war plans without knowing all of the actors, how silly.

I am to assume that S-12 does NOT work (towards the intended effect of 'stand down, let us settle this peacefully through 13 party talks and war not with physical might, but with words and dreams') on the young ladies, am I correct?

>>

I see. I will wait for news of the new Brides for now then, Sebastian, perhaps of Scarlina in particular. You and ZBG have my thanks.

Well, it was implied that it was the head alchemist influence that convinced the people of the inclusion of the S-12, and Sebastian puts in great part the blame in his "alluring emerald eyes", Sebastian doesn't seem much interested in any of the girls, so I was trying to get his support and silence for more morally questionable activities in exchange for opportunities for him to have some kind of approximation, moral or not, to the head alchemist. I was betting in a crush of Sebastian in the Head Alchemist, basically.

"S-12 can very, VERY subtly affect the Brides. But you would need either B-04 or be the single most convincing person on the face of the Earth to get each of them to agree to 100% peaceful negotiations.
Many of them follow the philosophy that actions speak louder than words, though there are a few innate pacifists among them.
Primarily Vignette and Catherine spring to mind."

Sebastian was conceived of as being semi-asexual, but the Head Alchemist is quite, quite good at convincing people to do things they normally wouldn't. They're quite aware of Sebastian's innocence and knows how to use it to their advantage.
Plus, Sebastian believes your words to be law. Bribing or incentivising him isn't really necessary, though he is hesitant to do less morally upstanding things.

"And with that, I'm afraid, Lord Zodiac Brides Guy has informed me that he's just about tapped out for the day. He promises to keep working hard and (hesitantly) says that Sagittarius should be done at some point tomorrow or early the following morning.

You know, I can see this as an anime, introducing girls as the series progresses.

Episode one introduces the MC, who gets surprised with the entire revelation that he's now the zodiac king and a bunch of brides will be showing up soon to fight for his hand in marriage. At this point, he's mainly just interested in getting through the whole thing with no one dying, so he picks like upgrades like vitality, to be indestructible, and beauty/domination, so that he can try to talk each of the girls out of fighting. He then literally heads for the hills, going to an old deserted house in the forest/mountains to try to keep the fighting away from innocent people, and technically picks Vignette so that she shows up a bit early at the old house.

Episode two would be the MC getting to know Vignette, her powers, and trying to convince her to help him end this whole thing without bloodshed. Vignette could also probably spruce up the house, which in addition to the forest/mountains around it will be the main setting for most of the show. Talisa could then be introduced, giving the cast a more forceful, albeit still friendly, contrast to Vignette, and starting the chain of introducing girls, getting to know them and their powers, and trying to convince them to agree to stop fighting. Vignette’s powers over the forest keeps the house hidden, so the girls are introduced one by one as they are allowed to find it one at a time.
>>
>>53317878
As more girls are added to the harem, you could also occasionally get snippets of some of the heavy-hitters battling it out elsewhere in the woods. For example, Luciana can have a big chunk of the JSDF on her side, and they’re engaged in a pitched battle against Angelica, who has done her whole RIGHTEOUS FIRE thing and is smashing tanks and helicopters that Luciana sends against her. For added hilarity, Sebastian can also be popping up regularly to check on the war’s progress.

Eventually, after all the girls have been convinced to stop fighting and honor the MC’s choice regarding whom he’ll marry, you can have a final arc in which each the MC goes on a date with each of the girls where they try to win him over somewhat more normally. That final date arc culminates in the MC making a choice, and having to deal with the consequences.
>>
>>53317878
>>53317893

The Bachelor. You are describing the Bachelor with deathless explosion-filled anime combat as the episode gimmicks.
>>
>>53317893
The consequences being a bunch of angry girls as he says that he’ll be marrying all of them, citing the fact that while they promised simply to honor his choice, he never specified that he had to choose only one. Show ends with him running off into the sunset, pursued by 13 angry, super-powered girls.
>>
>>53317893
>That final date arc culminates in the MC making a choice, and having to deal with the consequences.
If that 'choice' is not the Path of Kings, then I will be disappointed that my Annie-May lied to me all these years.
>>
>>53317946
Well yeah. That's basically what the harem anime genre is. Just minus the pretense that it is somehow a reality show.
>>
>>53317893
No, this is anime, so the show will end with our spineless protagonist not making a choice and still telling the girls he loves all of them equally *shudder*
>>
>>53314937
Well it seems that this will be a little more difficult than I thought. Of the available choices so far, I'm supporting Tali but I live in what is practically a desert town with the largest wildlife being coyotes. We'll probably spend some of those 12 hours together driving towards some real wildlife and discussing strategy while we go. We get far enough and we'll have some bears, cougars, maybe some moose if we're lucky.

If we relocate during the early 12 hours, do the other brides arrive near where we are when the 12 hours is over or where we were 12 hours before then?
>>
I don't really understand the incentive of B-04.
Ok, beautiful people are suppose to be more persuasive, but I don't think the effects should be that big. Maybe if you want to be 100% persuasive a possible combination would be B-04, M-06 and S-12, but I'm not sure how much B-04 would contribute - plus, knowledge of persuasion techniques from M-05 or some of the effects of M-06 or M-07 (and maybe S-09) would probably surpass it.

M-04 should be able to make the girls marry you more... but don't they already? Also after the war you should acquire effects of M-04 anyway.

I guess I can see it's uses in some very specific circumstances, like if you choose Lucianna and want to make fall in love with you faster so that she becomes stronger in the war.

But I would say that it seems to me the least useful elixir.
>>
>>53318002
Let's subvert that and go the seldom seen Badass Harem Protagonist route, and ends with "I'M THE KING, AND YOU'RE ALL MINE", and then all the girls realize that the true Last Boss was the MC all along while poor Sebastian and Co. begin second guessing this entire thing.

Personally, I'd want Shaft to make it and would want Mamuro Miyano to voice Sebastian.
If I'd be personally writing and directing, it would either end without innately stated who won (show ends with the MC turning to the screen in his Royal attire and reaching out his hand, which a hand wearing a white glove takes) or what >>53317951 described. Probably end with a wedding photo of him surrounded by all the girls, some of them pouting, others looking defeated, and several just looking genuinely happy and hanging off him.

I'd imagine that would come at the very end.
The final scene is the MC gathering all the girls together in the house to announce his decision. Sebastian is also there because reasons.

The MC announces that, as Zodiac King, all the brides belong to him and he will be marrying all of them, citing their agreement to honor his choice without him ever specifying that he had to choose only one. The girls sit in stunned silence for a moment. Sebastian leans over to the MC and asks if this was his plan from day one. The MC confirms that it was. Sebastian politely points out there may be a flaw in his plan.

The silence is broken by Angelica bursting into RIGHTEOUS FIRE and smacking the MC in the face with her hammer. Having taken vitality, the MC is fine, albeit knocked back. Chaos ensues as all the girls chase after him, intent on claiming and/or punishing him. The MC runs off into the woods, where he runs into Vignette, who at first appears to be her cheerful self. The MC asks for her help, but she responds by growling scarousing and tries to go all evil dead tree rape on his ass. The arrival of the other girls interrupts that, and the chase resumes.

The final shot is a sunset over the woods, the camera slowly panning up to the sky, with the sounds of the cast shouting angrily in the background. The occasional blasts of thunder and lightning, blades of wind, and jets flying over to bomb the forest can be seen. Credits roll. After the credits, one of:
A brief shot of the court alchemist, crying to himself in bed, hugging a body pillow of the MC
Or
A wedding photo of the MC and the 13 girls, as previously mentioned.

I'm putting way too much thought into this.

So instead of the harem protag waffling and being indecisive because he's a spineless wretch, it's actually just been part of the plan the whole time, and he's stalling for time so that he can gain the power to win all the girls. Excellent.

And the powers he chooses at the beginning even explain the usual harem protag durability and the fact that a bunch of girls all want his dick.

Normal body with an animal head, I'm mostly spending my time trying to clean the streets best I can. I'm a killing machine with whatever I can get my hands on, and with the ability to see how plans of mine go in the next 5 minutes, as well as knowing if something significant happens in my immediate surroundings, it's going to be hard to kill me when I see it coming.

Yeah, I'm pretty much a superpowered Jacket.

Posting my Vigilante.
I originally wanted to go for a general toolkit of powers and to simply hunt down villains and heroes who were not true allies of justice through a wide skillset, second trigger competence, and adaptability + blindspot to render the vast majority of powers useless against me. Unfortunately, unlimited shard works lends itself better to a large set of powers than just buying other ones. It also synergizes perfectly with a Vigilante's lack of a slot limit.

And now for shitty writefagging and Case 53 appearance.

There is evil and corruption in this world. I shall do good for the common man, with no affiliations to impede the passage of justice.

There are 'Heroes' who are little better than the villains I face. Though it may earn me enmity, my path is set. Those who are are not true allies of justice shall be punished.

I have awoken to this world with not an identifying memory in my head. All I know is that who I am, what I am, is not who I once was. I am host to a wealth of knowledge about this world, and its status as a falsehood. While the existential ramifications of such knowledge keeps me up at night, it has also given me a great advantage in seeking out both allies and enemies.

Some of my powers are developed beyond the norm. Though my own powers began quite undeveloped, I found myself physically capable, eerily competent, and able to sense what powers a person might have at a glance. Though I did not realize it during the first day of my new life, I am selectively immune to the powers of others, a great boon for hunting enemies of justice. Beyond that, I seem to be able to learn and copy the powers of other parahumans through observation, to which I can only call that first day a blessing in disguise, as it allowed me to hear witness to a great many powers. Thanks to my abnormal competence and foreign shard, I can quickly master these powers, granting me an advantage in my mission that only serves to grow as I fight.

To clarify, all the Kings that have been mentioned are named Jeremiah, because each was named after his father so, if it's an anime, it'd probably be something more like:
"King Kenshiro "The Pervert" Zodiac, First of His Name."
Though I personally kinda like "The Shameless" as the MCs nickname.

Speaking of I have two questions:
1) What do you think your nick name might be?
>King Anon "The ________" Zodiac
"First of his name" is optional
2) Do you think I should actually change Sagittarius into a centaur? I'm not a supporter of elf hate, but now that I've finished by research her portrait kinda feels... Wrong to me.
Thoughts, anons?

I can't imagine a universal nick name to be applied to all CYOA players and that is good. Maybe something to do with the fact that he was very distant from the main line and didn't live in the Zodiac. "The distant" "The otherworldly", but I don't think any of these is that good.

And I prefer much much more elfs, but I already have some brides that I like and I'm sure that there's some anons around that have a thing for centaurs.

I will sleep, good night ZBG, you made my day less terrible.

Here's first nemesis
>Name: Cobble
A 9 foot 3 wall of pissed off rocks.
>Origin
Golden Age (10C) (20P)
Villain
Insert: One of the first Case-53s to show up, before they were even called case 53s. he's a real blockhead, so of course our relationship was rocky from the start.
Male (?)
Adult (??)
No Identity (12C)

He has some pants. good quality jeans, XXL size
>Skills:
Tactics (8C)
Survival (5C)
>Shard: Dead (23P)
>Drawbacks:
Case 53 x3 (29P) Like the thing, but dark grey and with barely any vertical symmetry, to the point that he ends up hobbling more than walking.
Rough Start x3 (14C)
>Perks:
Second trigger x2 (6C) (23P)
Power Slot x2 (21P)
>powers
Rocky [HA] (14P)
Regeneration (4P): As his body heals, it undoes the effect of Rocky.
Immunity: second trigger (3P)
Mountain: Second Trigger (1P)
Jump (0P)
The power of lore: Being made entirely of a non-biological material, he has no brain. Insomnia, and all of my stranger powers don't work on him. Not even my shard seems to know when he's around, not that he's particularly stealthy. all in all he's a bitch and a half to fight on any day.
>Villain
Mooks X (4C)
Connections (0C)
Other: And you know, it the funniest thing. I don't even remember how I manged to piss this fucker off. Maybe he just doesn't like spiders? It's not like he's just a dumb thug, he's clever on top of his stupid strength. I mean he's the leader of his own little band of dicks and he's not birdcaged yet, so he clearly knows what he's doing.

Let's go villain this time.

Gestation 15C-S15
Villain
Drop-in 18C-18S
No identity 20C-18S
Costume: Budget first, armor later. 15C-18S
Skills: First aid, Mechanics, Marksmanship, Martial arts 1C-18S
Shard: Natural Trigger: 4C-18S
Flaws: Case 53:1 (2S) Worst day ever (9C-6S) Unruly passenger (5S) Psychic nosebleed (4S) Numbed emotions (3S) S9 (5C-3S) ET (4C-5S) Total (22C-46S)
Perks: Second trigger x2 (14C-40S) Plot convenience (13C-40S) Secret lair (11C-40S) Negentropy (6C-35S)
Gift: Interludes

Powers: Wavelength ST, Regeneration ST (6C-0S)

Gang: Merchants
Villain perk: Money (3C-0S)
Flaws: Dishonorable (5C-3S)
Extra power: Flying (5C-0S)
Extra skill: Strategy (0C-0S)

I am assuming that the villain path bonus awards one extra point in all drawbacks, and not just from the ones in the villain path, otherwise my build is totally fucked and wrong.

I picked the merchants since they were the most hated and the weakest gang of Brockton bay, my plan is to one day wash away my own dishonor while turning the merchants in a respectable and powerful group in their own right, first giving up the drug trade for kids and then going for the conquest of territory and managing profitable businesses, I hope that I wont have to actually kill Skidmark over this.

Since I have some money already I can start working on some high level tinker projects, if I can get to do half of what Scion does with his stilling, destroying the other gangs will be somewhat tough since I cant actually go full golden morning and kill everyone, but it will not be impossible.

Never killing or torturing anyone and always showing to help in endbringer fights will also serve me if I ever get captured by the heroes, I can ask to switch sides in exchange for not going to the birdcage.

I think my first creation will be a indestructible tinker box that manipulates wavelengths to kill all insects in a 1km area around me, sorry Taylor.

As for a suitable villain name, Mad void.
