Irrational hatred of most small animals, solely based on the whole "mouse up the elephant's nose" sort of logic
Albino skin?
>>53294130
a barbarian orc terrified of mice is a great start
>>53294130
Wait, what? Is this why elephants are afraid of mice? Because they could crawl up the elephant's trunk?
Or is that just a myth? It's just a myth, right?
>>53294297
It aint the real reason, but plenty of people believe it when you say it.
Makes more sense as far as sentient beings go, since it's so easy for them to have irrational fears.

is this true? holy shit
>>53294028
what's his background, culture, history that sort of thing?

He's oddly good at baking, but everything he bakes isn't sweet at all since he doesn't know what "sweet" tastes like. His ultimate goal is to make the tastiest cake and actually be able to taste it. (Mundane baked goods are no good)
He gets left and right confused all the time
Has a powerful & sharp whistle, that can cut through he noise of battle he uses to call the
attention of friends & /or foes
Scrimshaw tusks
Bread for Bed. Leaves a gift of bread to anyone who gives him a bed to sleep in, even innkeepers. He usually leaves the bread tucked under the blanket/on the pillow the bed. This is because being accepted & trusted into someone's home is a big deal for him.
Names his weapons, acts like they are pets. Threatens to "feed" people to them sometimes
Loves helmets, constantly looks for a cooler/better helm
He hates pixies and fey

It's actually a legend: elephants are kinda scared of small quick animals, probably because of their eyesight, but they don't go crazy on them.
Anyway OP, try an orc that is gruff and all that usual shit, but he was adopted by a human wizard/cleric before adolescence. He's still a warrior, but he's learned, likes books and perhaps even art.
The real quirk is that he's kinda conflicted about all that: on one hand he REALLY enjoys a nice drink and a book about (say) botany or other unharmful subjects in peace. On another, he not only knows that humans treat an orc like an orc and has adopted a fearsome persona because at least that way they leave him alone, his attempts at writing stories are surprisingly decent if not good.. but they're dark, brooding, perhaps even blasphemous. Now the funny thing is that he made some money with that. Money that could perhaps make him have a good life (or at least one in which he's not actively shitted on by humans). It could even be that they're based on his adventuring jobs so he kinda feels the need to go adventuring to get his head around this shit.

Actually grew up in the most fantastic and prosperous city in the land, but got lost one day and decided that the life as a barbarian suited him better than life as merchant/scholar/ whatever. but still holds a keen eye for some business or managerial business. as such he has a point or two in disguise. not because he's good at fooling people, but because he has his former life as an aspiring noble of some kind to draw on.

Carves of a chunk of any interesting monsters they fight, just likes a few beers and a hot meal after a long days work and it seems wasteful not to eat the chimera.
>>53294028
He likes to write novels, but he's not very good.
