Good news and bad news from the Wiki archive. Good news is, we've managed to recover MOST of the lost images. But we may be still missing some. We still haven't finished combing it yet. However, one of my compatriots raised a concern that we might be missing some pages of Velgarn's Yven-Le-Blue comic. I don't personally know yet what they think is missing, but if anyone would be good enough to post any copies that they have of the pages the archivists would appreciate it. Vel's pages are one of the major entries that we'll be installing into the planned 'Lore' section on the wiki page.

Might be a bit too late to comment, but I'm against major changes to the Gen 1 chart as well. If it, for SOME reason, is absolutely necessary to change Boy Princess' name though, Field is the best option.

I believe my use of the word apathy was misinterpreted. I was more trying to say that I was becoming more indifferent to those expressing their upset, particularly when they did so without going into enough detail for the community to respond properly.

For myself, I'm satisfied with the most recent design that was shown for Squid Princess, though I can agree that she may not quite be "squid" enough and could be seen as another tentacled invertebrate altogether. However, I've only seen one or two anons suggest how it could be changed to remedy this (albeit without something to provide reference) while the rest have expressed various degrees of "I don't like, fix it" with little more than saying they liked the original design the best or that the new one wasn't close enough to the original. This leaves very little direction for our resident artists, and to me comes off as self-entitled or nit-picky (an unfair assumption, since most everyone who stated not being happy with the new Squid did so much more courteously than some anons in the past have with their issues towards Princesses).

I guess what I really want to say is that I believe there's a middle-ground we can find for her design, one that fits within the Towergirls artistic style, doesn't alienate too many of her previous admirers, and opens her appeal up to those who glossed over her, before. To achieve this, open communication needs to be established between all parties so that ideas can bounce back and forth until we have something satisfying.

Trust me, I know all too well that change requires speaking up (I went into great detail as to why Panda needed to be reworked back when we were still hashing out Gen III EX).

I don't use these terms very often but I think noblebright is a good way or putting it. The bad guys are definitively bad (or just misunderstood and can at least be reasoned with), the good guys are clearly defined and are at worst jerks with secret hearts of gold, who go on adventures that have a comical, tongue and cheek bent to them. Maybe it's the art style but I can't imagine it as anything but a light hearted adventure.
I've actually got a really detailed story that takes place in my head canon setting I've been brewing on for the better part of a year now but I can't find a good starting point to even begin working on it.
