Reposting build. Who else wants to join the legions of fiends to destroy that pond scum, humanity?

>Dark Portal - Colossal Portal
>Technomancy - EMP
>Vitality - Undying
>Direct Control - Upgrade

What forces I take depends on what forces other Nightmare callers allied with me take, but my normal forces are:

>Death Walkers x2
>Lost Titans x3

My typical strategy is to ride my death walkers around the enemy flank to where they are weakest, crossing their battle line. I'll then use Colossal Portal to open a gateway for the Lost Titans to strike at them when they're weakest. Few armies can survive three Lost Titans suddenly appearing where they least expect it. I can assume direct control of a Titan as well, making them even more powerful while my Death Walkers spirit my body to safety. Technomancy gives me some offensive grunt - tanks, drones or aircraft will have difficulty engaging me, and ordinary infantry are too slow to keep up.

Count me in.

Spectacle -> Suppress
Allure -> Love Slave
Possession -> Body Hop
Dark Portal -> Instant Portal

Stalker
Stalker
Stalker
Lieutenant
Infiltrator

My goal will be to live in a human city. Using allure I will tempt a soldier or two and make them my love slaves. From these love slaves, I will gather information about their defenses.

I will use body hop on my highest ranking love slave. That love slave will then request to speak to their commanding officer privately. The parasite would jump from my love slave to the commanding officer. I will then make the commanding officer walk to a private location and strip out of their clothes. The commanding officer will then be killed. An infiltrator will be waiting at that location to take over their body.

I will use body hop on my own infiltrator to make it carry a parasite. That infiltrator would request to speak to their commanding officer, and the same process would be repeated. A higher ranking commanding officer would be replaced with an infiltrator. Doing this, I will be able to replace the top ranking commanding officers without any mysterious disappearances.

In the middle of the night I would summon an instant portal and bring forth three squads of stalkers and a lieutenant on the opposite side of town from where I am staying. I would instruct my lietentant to hold my forces back until I got back to my house.

When I get back home, my stalkers would begin their attack. They would jump from shadow to shadow, invading homes and killing everybody in their sleep. I will have tasked all of the commanding officers in the military with making sure that an alarm is not raised. If an alarm is raised anyway, then my infiltrators would be tasked with sabotaging any effort to muster up an organized resistance.

If everything goes well, the town should die. If my stalkers fail, then I will just continue to live in the town and await the chance to do it again.

>Rapture
Sounds like Heaven and Hell both need to get a reminder that Humans are gonna do, what humans are gonna do.
>Shopping mall
Sure we need to deal with raiders, but we have everything we could need here. Just gotta work on those defenses.
>Chapel (Free), Water Processing Plant, Clinic, Solar Array, Town Hall, Tavern, Store, Barricade (3), Outhouse, Hotel, Common House (4x).
Free Chapel, dedicated to HUMANITY FUCK YEAH. We'll have good free water, a clinic for our injured (and any who can afford the doc's services), free energy, a place for meetings, two different spots for people to barter at, a place for travelers to rest (rates will be reasonable). Quarters might be cramped, but there's plenty of space for people in my colony, and we have some damn nice walls to keep raiders away.
>Armoury, Centre of Commerce, Lucky, Natural leader, Forbidden Knowledge.
Part of why we do so well? I'm lucky, my place is lucky; it's why we're the main hub of human trade. Also, that we have a huge prepper's weapon and armor cache to plunder from the get-go helped a lot. I know the right decisions to make to lead my people to victory... and I know that it will involve unlocking the secrets of this book. I'll cast those angels and demons back to where they belong.
>Raul, Gordan
Good engineers to keep the systems running, plus, Raul is a tough bastard in a fight.
>Lux
Having a miracle worker for a healer sounds like a bonus.
>Samuel, Kyle
Two cooks; lots of people to consider feeding. Samuel also makes jerky (for selling or for travel rations), and leather (for selling and crafting).
>Katherine Howel, Ben Chambers, Dmitri Ivanov, Mickey.
Katherine is chief of security. Mickey is chief intelligence operative, down on the ground, making sure everybody we have coming through is pretty clean.
>Felica, Crazy Carl, Damian
General goods is always in style; 'junk' can always be turned into something good by a crafty person; Damian is unreliable, but does hit on gold mines.

If enough of a resistance is eventually mustered to fend off my stalkers even without an alarm or military leadership, I could have the commanding officers give a signal for you two to attack. You could get this signal through technomancy.

Then my infiltrators could shift their goal to sowing as much confusion in the army as possible by giving them bad orders and by directly sabotaging military equipment.

"Negative soldier, do not engage the titans. We have helicopters armed with missiles coming to deal with them. We need all soldiers to report to the OTHER side of the town. Juggernauts have broken through the wall on that side."

...there are no juggernauts on that side of the wall, and those missile reinforcements aren't coming.

>Vitality - Instant Heal
>Pain Network - WiFi
>Direct Control - Upgrade
>Time Stop - Long Pause

>Infiltrator
>Champion & Warbeasts
>Hunter
>Dynamo
>Dragon

My goal is to manage and guide my forces from the relative safety of my lair. Using infiltrators, I can spy on and sabotage human military settlements well before any actual armed engagement. Someone "carelessly" poisoning food and water sources, breaking vital equipment, sending conflicting or counterproductive orders can do more damage to morale and discipline than a straightforward attack.

When it comes time for an outright attack, the Pain Network should cripple effectiveness and cohesion even more (while also better coordinating my own forces). The rest give me a balanced mix of range, speed, and sheer brute force to overwhelm any who stand in my way.

And should humans make it to my lair/command center, they'll find that I'm more than capable of defending myself. Imagine the agony of seeing your death coming but being utterly unable to move. They might've been better off with the hunters.

Any attempt to stand against me would be, well... useless.
>>
>>53157878
Fair enough, but remember there's three of us now. That's not a small human force. Do you have the numbers to subvert that many humans? Especially considering they'll have experience fighting us, so will probably have infiltration countermeasures in place?

>>53157877
Go for it. They might shoot you first and ask questions later when you try to protect them, but more power to you.

Anyone have good cyoas for building human armies? We could use one for the other side.

That's why I took steps to avoid any mysterious disappearances and to minimize behavior that might be seen as out of the ordinary.

If there are measures to detect infiltrators that soldiers regularly have to pass through, then my original military love slave may be able to tell me that beforehand.

When infiltrators copy the form of a corpse they gain the memories of that corpse, so any high ranking officer that I turn into an infiltrator should also be able to give me information about what will and will not work.

If I am informed of countermeasures that go beyond my ability to infiltrate all of the top ranks, then I will proceed with only part of the leadership under my control.

If I learn that I can't reach the leadership, then I'll change my plans.

I will use my stalkers to do as much damage as possible while I use lower ranking love slaves and infiltrators to sabotage military vehicles and equipment that might be capable of damaging the titans.

This looks like a response or side-story version of a CYOA for being turned into some variety of monster-girl in order to fight off an invading horde. If the intro is taken as sincere, it implies that humanity created its own bane and that This one is set to put down the species that spawned its collective. If taken as a bluff to convince turned humans/monster-girls to the invader's sides, it's still a pretty neat way to set up Why there's some variety of magical-girl that sided with the invaders.

Looks like it's in the same font and such too. Build incomming.

>Job: Spy
Not that I'm telling her that, mind you. She's a good girl in a harsh world; it's a miracle she's kept her innocence in this world and I'm in no intention of changing that.
Just imagine, how would she'd react if she learned I was stealing coin for her with Mage Hand, 10 pounds at a time? She'd probably say something about how stealing is wrong or something like that, while completely ignoring the fact that it's wrong for her to be so poor while less deserving people are so rich.
Well, the universe obviously fucked up when it gave such a harsh life to such a kind and gentle soul. Luckily, I've been given the power to change that, if I work hard and smart enough, and that's just what I intend to do.

>Event: A Forbidden Love
Ah, young love. I'm a man - er, crow - who loves love, and it seems she's that kind of girl as well. Not surprising, really: all the best people are romantics.
I'm gonna have to play stupid at the beginning, but I have practice with that. Getting the two of them together is gonna be rather hard on my own, but maybe I can get the help of that Cat familiar that was following the young mage around. I'm probably gonna need to do her a favour, like steel the test answers for her Master or get her a plump rat, but it'll easy after that to get the two together, what with two familiars working under their masters' noses instead of just one.
Then, all we have to do is get them to gather and have the relationship bloom. Maybe it'll amount to nothing, or maybe it'll end up being real love. There's nothing more I can do from there.

Blockbuster LLC . Good for blackmail and porn and who knows what else.

Pawn Shop. Hey look free friends. Screw having to talk to neighbors. And possibly business contacts and lovers and pets and etc.

Heretics Library. Hey. Magic n stuff. And also probably some good books.

Gym. It's nice that time wont be wasted.

First Aid Kit. Always good to have a little backup. Especially when dealing with elder things.

Watchful Moose. The other kind of backup thats good to have when dealing with the elder things.

Apartment Clocks. Time travel is always the right answer.

Local Channel. Best to get some news instead of being caught unaware.

Ex tenants journal. Same as the TV really.

Tenants

Hallway Wanderer. Time travel is ALWAYS the right answer.

Paranormal Maniac. A little defensive help in bad times.

Charm Giving Lass. Maybe also good for defense. A little luck never hurts.

Basement Apparition. Good for using the first aid kit and for keeping drinks cold.

Changeling. She's cute. And tries to be helpful. And I bet she's stretchy.

Standing stones. More luck and defense.

Delving Adventurer. Never know when a trinket will help. Maybe I'll give one to the charm giving lass.

Janitor. Fixing things is nice.

Gargoyle. MORE DEFENSE.

Painter's Apprentice. And free magic. Although I dont know what his magic is.

Phenomena

Stairwell Window cause pretty.
Outdoor Courtyard. Watching animals is always nice.
Give and take well. Balance is key. And also possibly asking for a price list of wishes you want.
Open door day. Party day sounds fun.
Hokousha Tengoku. Food stalls!
Illustrated Stalls - Who knows what offers there are.
Infinity line. Did you say not driving in traffic?
Odd Job Listing. In case I want an adventure. Or some coin.
Memory Gallery. Sometimes, its ok to be sad.

>Dark Portal (Instant)
Enter a structure and make the entire thing a launch point with portals riddling the interior.
>Technomancy (Hack)
Combine with above to take over all internal technology, security points, cameras, etc.

>Time Stop (Long Pause)

They never see me coming.
They might catch me at a glance.
And then their whole base is being flooded by half a dozen portals opened in frozen time as their technology immediately falters and begins acting antagonistically.

Anti-Fortress Nightmare Mode.

Army Composition.
>Stalkers
>Outsider Medics
>Infiltrators
>Dynamo
>Valkyrie

Stalkers are usually going to be the first in, followed by the infiltrators to follow up and continue dropping morale and disrupting communication and chain of command. Valkyries and Dynamos are up next, breaking into softened security measures and securing the structure, while Outsider Medics arrive to mend any injured in the initial incursions.

If there are more structures or holdouts nearby, rinse and repeat quickly. If not, use infiltrators and technomancy hacking to maintain illusion of communication at key outposts while waiting for reinforcements.

Anyone want a partner squadron who can turn enemy fortifications and facilities within minutes? Actually having an army, maybe with some bigger forces or units at our back would be a nice touch in case they catch on and just bombard it or send in a team of monster-girls with no sense of collateral damage.

Think I'll help myself to some of their armor and weapons while I have the chance.

Needle Pulling Thread/Craftwork Planning

Spark of Genius/Scientific Rigor

So, my daughteru is brilliant, and smarter than me, even though I'm cleverer than I was before.
Good thing she favors routine and has diminished social aspirations. I'm kind of a shut-in myself. I won't have to worry so much about her chasing boys and doing stupid things and getting hurt.
She and I can make amazing things together.
We can work from home selling a handful of our designs.
It's a quiet, simple life.

-5 The Fountain of Youth
I'm assuming the whole point about extended the lifespan by an order of magnitude simply means 10x longer.

I think the Fleshweaver is 10 pounds of dicks in a 5 pound bag.
So I'll just take my free points from the goddess and purchase the simple life-extension.
I'm sure that at some point within my centuries long life (at least 500 years by my count), my divine daughteru and I can make something roughly as good as anything that asshole can pull off. Maybe some of the more esoteric ones will be beyond our reach, but with literal centuries to study, who knows?

>Only problem I have with this is that I can't stay a man.

>Suggestion: alternate CYOA where you get to be a big manly monster under the control of one of these Nightmare Callers?
Judging by how beri describes the units (and the main differences between them and Callers), that doesn't sound like a pleasant experience in most (if not all) cases. You'd be in eternal pain, for one (unless you happened to be lucky enough to be born to a Broodmother with Painless), and you'd be more of a tool than a person.

Thank god, I thought I was alone. I didn't want to sound like a whore but I hate it when you don't know how hung a male companion is. Then you could ask for details and the chosen answer can branch out again.

You guys ever notice how cyoas never feature friendly rivalry? Rivals in cyoas, when they rarely appear, are usually drawbacks and vastly superior to you. It's pretty strange.

I assume most authors are american. Is that it? Are americans either not competitive, or maliciously so?
>>
>>53160181
The latter. Americans don't recognize friendly competition - if you don't win, then you're a loser, and that's a fate worse than death. Hence why we have a tradition of cheating during sporting events, and have no empathy for anyone less fortunate than us.
>>
>>53160181
Magical Realm has that, one of the personal benefits is a rival.

Antagonistic forces which complicate your existence in a stimulating and thrilling fashion.

Fuck this, I'm not destroying the human race. I'd rather kill these psycho Nightmare Bitches.

Powers:
Vitality: Instant Heal
Direct Control: Upgrade
Time Stop: True Stop
Spectacle: Suppress

Units:
Lost Titan
Dragon
Goliath
Dynamo
Lieutenant

The Goliath will be the firebase for the Dynamos and where the Lieutenants reside, as well as where my units can sleep. In battle, I will have one Lieutenant handle my Dragons, givinf then a supporting role, while the Dynamos serve as Artillery. I will be controlling a Lost Titan, cleaving the shit out of some other monsters. The goal is to wipe out all the other Nightmare Callers, so humanity can be safe. Of course, I won't reveal these intentions until after the first one leaves.

You effectively are the worlds smartest man, You can't permanently die, Your powers can nullify a lot of the other sins fairly easily using indolence, You get a decent start using the waifu it gives and for extra fun at the top ranks it gives insanely powerful rituals.

Take despair code as a perk to have a very powerful early servant one can use to stay lazy as hell.
>>
>>53160932
There was a good cyoa with that option. You basically sacrificed human knowledge until mankind regressed to a primitive species. In exchange you were given your own pocket world.
>>
>>53160931
You're illiterate. Like I said, that's just how humanity rolls. Not a Nightmare Caller means not worthy of being considered human means slaughter them to the last, unless we're really generous and just subjugate them.

The way I kind of see this situation is one where you really don't have much of a choice here. It's kind of like being tossed into a warzone where one side wants to do something very bad. While the other side will kill you on the spot due to the risks of doing otherwise.

It'll be nigh-impossible to actually do much of anything without getting killed for it.

You are completely misinterpreting the Stanford Prison experiment. The experiment shows that groups conform to roles they are given, even if they are doing something they find morally wrong. It didn't involve killing billions of people. Are you just pretending to be retarded?
>>
>>53161191
>>53161230
The Milgram experiment is probably a better example, as it only requires an authority figure commanding them.
>>
>>53161230
Damn, i knew moralfags were stupid, but you're showing yourself to be exceptional even there.

The lesson from the stanford experiment is that giving people power makes them amoral. Taking away power makes them submissive. So give someone the most power anyone has ever had in history - the ability to wipe out billions of people at a whim, with no repercussions - and they will absolutely use it.
>>
>>53161191
>People still still that "experiment" had any validity
>>
>>53161252
That still involves only a single person, and only a simple action. Actively killing billions by leading an army of monsters is completely different, and anyone who would do it is completely insane. Also, in the case of a billion dollars for a billion deaths, you actually know people are dying, unlike the Milgram experiment where death was not certain or knowable.

Most people have a justifiable (to them) reason for killing others. Doing it just for personal gain is widely considered, and has almost always been considered, the acts of someone morally reprehensible. Most people are not motivated solely by greed when they start wars or kill people.
>>
>>53161332

You see, it's shit like this that makes moralfags look like hypocrites. You live a comfortable life because of the suffering of millions. Every time you act as a consumer, you are supporting the system which propagates that suffering. Every time a missile strike kills innocents and you don't do anything to stop it, you take on part of the guilt of that action for yourself. So going >muh morals really sounds stupid.

These are probably the three best personal choices when taken together - Scientific Rigor makes Magical Sight grow exponentially faster, and Peace of Mind both increases discipline and helps prevent madness from peering into the dark dimensions.

There is plenty of people who would do just this if there was enough gain in it. Not going to say it's the correct thing. But if you did just drop someone into a situation where one side wants to kill the other and the other side wants to kill you. Add in that the side that wants to wipe out the other one has a lot of reverence for the person and will grant them a ton of political power. Then you got a situation where a good chunk of people would go with it. Even if other people won't.

>>53161252
It does at least prove that you can get people who are average normal people to give a fatal voltage charge to someone based on the orders of authority figures. Of course it's easier if the people you were doing this too was in a war zone and you didn't do it personally. Though it also proves that 1/4 or so people wasn't willing to do so. So it's not a certain thing by any means.

You missed the very important "or" in there. Its presence makes a bit of difference, bud. Quite a bit of difference.
>>
>>53163462
The real dilemma in this cyoa is that the bad guys are simultaneously the good guys. I doubt any defender of humanity is going to turn against their patrons for the sake of some mutants.

I can EASILY imagine the higher ups spinning it as if it was a rogue experiment for which they punished certain scapegoats. The horrible "truth" being that some disgruntled scientists betrayed them and tried to make their own magical girls with horrifying results.

Conspiracies that run this high and deep can't be taken down without concrete evidence which doesn't exist.
>>
>>53163522
>non-trap male companion

The average author lacks friends or has an extreme aversion to normal men. A real, competent bro is perceived as a threat to their waifus.

Then again, what are you complaining about when your cyoas contains zero male companions either?
>>

Infiltrators can copy memories.

You really need to imagine how both parties would think in universe. They do NOT have the information the cyoa provides us with.

Do I seriously need to explain the concept of hiding in plain sight? If they've infiltrated human society, then they don't show up as a Caller, they show as a regular human. In other words, it's impossible to talk to them as a Caller, because nobody realizes them as being anything other than Jane Doe. They're still as figuratively (not literally) distant as if they were hiding behind walls of monsters. Closeness has more meanings than just physical proximity. Should have stayed in school, Anon.

Is there any purpose to you tripping?
>>
>>53163555
I agree you, anon.
I think the main problem is that some people think that you MUST kill everyone if you side with the Callers...
... And those who want to find a "peaceful" solution think you can do that WITHOUT killing anyone innocent at all.

In reality, this CYOA is just a good old war like we see nowadays. Humans against Humans. Hell, even the Defenders side uses inhuman monstrosities to fight.
In a war, everyone fighting is equally innocent and guilty. Soldiers fight people who are exactly like them, just on the other side. If circumstances were just a little different, they'd be comrades. It's sad, it shouldn't happen, and while one side is probably less wrong than the other, it doesn't change that you can't end the war without people dying.

My personal build is the one who infiltrates military bases and goes full The Thing on everyone inside, aiming to reach the higher ups and government eventually, until the whole conspiracy is brought into light.
I don't want to eradicate humanity, but I'm not naive enough to think no one innocent will have to die to reach that goal. Really, as long as you don't attack cities of non-combatants, and stick only to killing soldiers, you've done nothing wrong. The military did nothing wrong in trying to kill you too, though.

Neither one is particularly good, they both ramble on unnecessarily and fail to really achieve anything with their writing.
>>
>>53163732
Again, nobody said it was easy. But the Defenders are a very noblebright group, with orders to take you alive. You have plenty of opportunities to try and win over hearts.

>who doesn't have Fleshweavers saved???
Anyone who doesn't like torture porn?
>>
>>53163594
Ah, the old "I'll say authors have no male friends then they will make boyfriends for me!
I am le genius!" meme.
Get on it anon. Make your CYOA come true. I'm looking forward to seeing what excuse you have not to make it.
>>
Has Pervy Super-Person been updated or the Make-A-Rape-Monster one that I can't recall the name of?
>>
>>53163731
Well, that's to fit into the lore of >>53163742
>>
>>53163802
You sound gay.

Male companions are just that: companions. Not husbandos or whatever.

If not for authors having an aversion to men, then why would they not include more male friends in cyoas?

The majority of cyoas have this vibe that the world should you + waifu for eternity in a protective bubble.
>>
>>53163838
It changes nothing, it's a stupid reason in that CYOA too.
>>
>>53163743
Explain further why a infiltrated caller can't communicate to humans please
>>
>>53163838
It's the fujoposter/Mommy. He uses the same reaction images all the time, people should really recognize that he's shitposting by now.
>>
>>53163876
Not me though. My reaction images just really catch on. I couldn't care less about you guys becoming girls too.
>>
>>53163462
>That's why you don't just walk up and say "I want to be friends."

But that's how it works in my Japanese animations.
>>
>>53163864
Aw, no excuse? That's my favorite part!
>>
>>53163875
That's not what I was explaining. I was explaining why humans can't communicate to an infiltrated caller. Christ.
>>
>>53163876
I wish they had caught on by now.
To think that this place has gotten worse in such a short time, thanks to one fucknugget...

>implying you aren't part of the problem
>>
>>53163522
Have you released any more waifus since the first one?
>>
>>53159127
This one would be more interesting if the Doctor was honest in the first place. Normal people just don't pick something if they don't know the consequences, and the fact that all seems very fishy don't help selling it.
Only picked one option without reading the other part, and it was a cheap one.
>>
>>53164009
It is amazing, this place went from a 3 to an 11 in shitposting because he's acting up from failing his finals.

Waifish orphan, and I want to be a snake. Body (cleanse), telepathic, charming, sturdy, and venomous.
I will do everything I can to make the orphan grow in the fine witch she's supposed to become, with a mix of help, social, defence and offence.
>>
>>53163979
But then a infiltrated caller can communicate to humans so the difference is?

>You live a comfortable life because of the suffering of millions
Anon, that's utter bullshit. I live a comfortable life because the people around me live a comfortable life and can thus spare the effort to produce luxuries such as this image board, just like I can do for them, leading to a virtuous circle. The suffering of millions is caused by my enemies, the owning class, the psychopaths at the top preying on everyone else.

It's the 1% who's everyone's enemy.

Don't patronise me.

I mean us.

I mean them. People with small penises.

Shut up.

If you had a great revelation, why not do the thing nobody else seems to be capable of? Create the CYOA of your dreams! Alternative: Choke on (flaccid) dick.

It's okay to have different opinions. You don't need to cradle the author's poor self esteem.

Flaccid penises look pretty pathetic, the erect one proper symbol of potent virility. Would you like a picture of a car with deflated tires? That's not really an image of a beast of speed and power.

Regarding the potion picking as it is now, it feels a bit weird that choices are 'as fragile as you are now' and 'literally invulnerable'. And with Sebastian hinting that it's going to be a warzone, Vitality feels basically like a mandatory pick.

Guess you could handle it with Magic but you don't really have much time to figure it out.

Also the girls will probably cry if I don't pick B-04 :'(
>>
>>53161923
No it doesn't. It say she asked you to do so. Not that it has happened.

>>53161904
Yeah could be. I'm interested how the author sees it all fitting together.
