Transmutation is definitely OP. In addition to being able to instantly turn your enemies into poop, it can also be used for creation. It's as good as conjuring for creating stuff. I really enjoy pvp cyoas and I always imagine the adventure/power cyoas I play will have a pvp element to them. Whenever I see someone (almost everyone) make a build that ignores the culling or pays to get rid of it, I imagine they didn't get that option and continue to skim through their build. I often fantasize about everyone on this website and several of it's spinoffs being summoned to a valhalla-esque world and forced to fight to the death over and over again. Sometimes with teams or armies, other times in a grand free for orgy of death.

One time that Comfy Zone was posted, I misread it saying that you have to take companion and kinda uncomfortable about there being something in my special safespace, even if it was just some I had created.

One of my wishes would be immortality, surprise, so that means no Minor Djinn. Unless you could wrangle effective immortality out of them by asking them to reset your lifespan repeatedly and make you nearly invulnerable to various sources of damage. Honestly, embarking on adventure with Adventurer to find Fountain of Youth and collect the pieces of shattered Globe of Invulnerability sounds far more interesting then writing fifteen page legal document and handing that to Lawful.

Loving Djinn is really safe bet. Two wishes might not be much but unless you are really greedy or manage to be really dumb with the wishes, you can get the most important wishes. Even if you want more wishes, do consider what exactly those wishes would be and would it be worth the trouble of having to wrangle them all to come perfect out of the more assholish Djinns.

Lawful Djinn probably give you what you want, if you are willing to spend time reading a lot of stories about what went wrong with wishes and then wording your wish really carefully. Maybe hiring someone to proofread your wish or asking group of internet autists to think of ways your wish might go wrong. At least Lawful isn't actively malicious, so if you are willing to spend time to carefully word your wishes, this is an ok choice.

Deadly Djinn is no go, anything worth asking will cost far more life than I'm willing to spend and if I wouldn't care about immortality, I could just pick one of the Minor Djinns, who can probably grant all that shit over time. Deadly can grants you a country, Warrior's example specifically is that it will assist you in taking over one and you still have infinite wishes left.

Lawyer Djinn is the good old asshole Djinn/Monkey's Paw. If you really, really, really enjoy arguing what the position of comma implies, you might get a friend out of her but she will probably still fuck up wishes. You will probably spend more wishes unfucking what you wished for than you actually gain over picking Loving or Lawyer.

Trader has the problem that I'm not sure I would actually be willing to pay the cost of wishing for anything actually worth taking Major Djinn over Minor. But I suppose you could try to ask for something that will allow you to collect things, then trade those for more wishes. Like, ask for charisma and ability to make friends easily, then once you have made bunch of friends, trade those friendships for your waifu. Or ask for skill in stock market to make lots of money, then use that money to basically straight up buy stuff from the Djinn. It's something to think about and since you can use your free one wish for immortality, you should have time. Question is, is stuff you attained by using skills granted with wish for trading worth as much as it would be if you had it otherwise? And if the Djinn is willing to do trades of equilevant value for anything or if it wants something that could be considered simular.


In the end, I would go with the Trader, spend some time to carefully word my wish for immortality and then collect things to trade to Djinn for things I can't attain easily.

When it comes to a new CYOA, image searching is by far the one most irregular. If I know where to look and what to look for, won't take me more than 1 hour. Otherwise, 6+ in the worst cases. Designing is tough and time-consuming but enjoyable enough. Writing, depending on what it is, I can get done quickly.

So, the nemesis gets fair warning, but the warning don't include 18 points out of a 26 point ( if you count the free hideout) build.

The plan is to use the extractor and the catalyst to have minions with between 3 and 6 magical powers. Don't know how the catalyst and extractor will interact, but that'll be one of the first experiments

Play the long game and build a stockpile of powers until I'm confident I can take the nemesis. Occasionally harassing with monsters and powered up cannon fodder generated with the powers of the catalyst.
