I ran a villain in a fantasy western game once based off YV. He had a magic eye that stopped time for just under a second, which was more than enough time for him to rip a whole sixgun at somebody. He acquired the power by looking at an ancient indian relic that was said to blind whoever looked at it and grant them immense power. He trained with a bunch of ascetics who enlightened themselves using the relic, but due to cowardice he wouldnt open his eyes when the time came for his ascension he only opened one eye and was kicked out.
