We set out into the boats, and stay there for the duration.

Water and heat makes slimes no threat, skeletons definitely can't swim, and the (small, fewer) zombies won't be able to pile up on the bottom of the lake.

Food and water are easy; we have a lake full of fresh water, and we can get food from the Carpenter's guaranteed half rations, fishing, and having the Harpy grab stuf from the Cabin or Merchant.

The only real issue is not going crazy from boredom, but the Harpy can take the Communications orbs, drop one off at the Merchant's to chat with him, and use the other to let us watch the landscape. The Carpenter can probably keep the Heir from getting too pissy, and the wilderness should be good for him.

All in all, it's a kinda shitty fishing outing with a reward of $200k.

That's pretty much the only thing I was worried about. They're too dumb to make an efficient 'tower' or 'pyramid', but a large enough pile could be pretty dangerous.
However, there are a few defenses against that:

By RAW, this means I'm fighting zombie Munchkinland instead of all of Kansas, with fewer smaller zombies able to pile up. While this probably won't make the strategy impossible by itself, it'll still take a lot longer for the Demon to gather enough zombies to be a threat - possibly even more than three days.

The Harpy, at least, could kill zombies coming into the water by dropping rocks/wildlife/other zombies on them, or just making the Guardian rampage in the middle of a major horde.
We could potentially kill zombies underwater, but we'd need to barter for a harpoon gun from the Merchant.
Note that if the Guardian counts seaweed (or any of the plants that rely on the lake) as something to rampage over, any zombie horde will get fucked up long before they start piling close to our boat, letting us win automatically.

I have the Halo, so if all else fails, I could just walk over to a different portion of the lake, luring the Demon (therefore the pile of zombies) and leaving any crushed undead behind. If the others row in a different direction, then when I return to the boat, the pile will be that much smaller.

And really, if we have to abandon the plan two days in to make a (slow) break for the Standing Stones, Maze, or Tower, are we any worse off?

She has her treasure, magic, and servants, but she must also serve. Her value to Teiatat comes in the exceptionally high pedigree of her young, driven by her magic absorption, and her immense egg production. Amre constantly produces so many eggs that she feels as though she could burst, and Teiatat chooses various powerful beings to fertilize her eggs and provide him with hordes of servants of all kinds. Other Gods or similarly powerful being who need an army of slaves (or a palin army) on the fly can negotiate with Teiatat for Amre's use, and must donate to help build and replensih her magical trasure horde. The more treasure she's draped over, the better the results from her eggs. Accompanying her tremendous egg production is near painful milk production, which her servants must regularly express, bottle, and send to where her young are kept. This is highly valuable as one drink of it will immediately grow and mature the young, allowing for instant servicce. With her unique capabilities, Amre is considered terribly valuable to Teiatat and well worth the cost of a magical treasure horde.

Just for writing in general, but there are things you should look out for if you're going to present the text to others like you do with CYOAs; the distinctiveness of each letter so they aren't mixed up and throw off the reader (stuff like mixing up lowercase L's and capital I's), its boldness, the width between each letter so they aren't all smashed together and difficult to read, etc. I've said before that I prefer function over form, but if your CYOA has an aristocratic or high society feel you probably want a font that's a bit fancy, if not for the whole text then just for the title and section dividers. Problem is that a lot of fancy fonts can be tricky to read so you have to judge for yourself what works for most and what doesn't. It's just as important as the other ideals you strive for with graphic design, like using complimentary colors and not trying to burn out someone's eyes. After all, if no one can read your CYOA, no one will give a shit about it.

Well, since it has unease in the title I assume all of the dread and danger isn't overt (or at least not immediately apparent), so I'd recommend a Gothic type of font. They tend to be a good blend between familiar and mysterious. Really I shill specific fonts a lot, but it's best to go on sites like dafont or fontspace, download whatever you think is appropriate, and then put it through a test by just copying a part of your CYOA's text and seeing how well you can read it by itself. It's easier to fit a font into the design of something and make sure it's legible than it is to design an entire background around a font. And if you really have trouble doing that, you can always find a different font.

For heroines, is it saying that you can make up to 5 main, and then any number of extra girls?
If so, why would you ever run out of orbs? It's more a matter of endurance to write up all the girls than it is about making choices.

Originally I thought about stacking strength and speed, but I decided against it upon reading that each purchase triples my current values. Currently at the time of making the choice, I am level 1. Starting with 9 times the physical stats of a level 1 would be very nice at the beginning, but if I survive until a very high level the difference will be barely noticeable. They will have been wasted powers.

Even for low level power, I don't think that strength x2 and speed x2 would place me far above a what one point in shapeshift could do. With shapeshift, I could turn into a T-Rex.

Instead I will become the caster master. I will wrap myself in protective barriers with white magic. I will command an army of the dead with necromancy. I will summon one extremely powerful champion with summoning. For the most part, I will stay behind my army and let them do the dirty work. If things look bad I will use continuum and teleport away.

If I had to fight alongside my army I would use continuum to slow my enemy and try to bind their movements with Earth magic while my minions pile up on them.

I don't feel that regeneration is a very good skill. Healing wounds within an hour may not be fast enough to make a difference in combat. It may not even be fast enough to stop me from bleeding to death. I assume that white magic can heal wounds much faster, with the downside being that it's limited by my mana pool.

Practical Magic will allow me to rest and live in comfort.

Immortality is an obvious choice.

You only get 8 extra orbs/heroine for the first 5. Any heroines beyond that only grant you 4. Given that it is mandatory to allot 2 points per girl (1 in body, 1 in personality), you will have 2 points to place into personality or breasts. That will give you very flat characters compared to those granting 8 points.

Well, they listen to what she says so they obviously aren't completely deranged beasts. If you want them still be savage, it could be that they basically agreed that she's better leader than any of them after her revolutionary idea of "after you pile all the year's harvest into the traditional pile, have the traditional grand melee somewhere else instead of trampling all the grain" managed to prevent nationwide famine for several years in row.

Position of King/Queen does imply some sort of civility tho, especially since she doesn't seem to have power or personality to force them to obey.

It could also be basically almost honorary position, where all tribes have their own leaders and only bother her when they cannot reach agreement, and they have accepted her as impartial and wise.

So doing a bit of math, it'll take around 160 orbs to get all the good bonuses which seem required to actually get a sequel and make the vn universe stronger.

You can take off around 40 of that with stuff from the very last page which shouldn't, frankly, be a negative like the tiger studio bad ends, rivals, and more plot complexity/maturity.

Main heroins probably give around 8 orbs per, side heroins probably about 7, so that works out to 5 main heroins required and 11 extra heroins.

That's just too goddamned much work to write out.

This is shaping up to be one of the better island survival CYOAs, partially because other island survival CYOAs set challenges so tough that it was hard to plan for them. ("I have asthma and no combat experience, so... yeah, I'm fucked no matter what I pick.") I'm definitely in favor of an events page. Might want to add another tracker-- maybe something that can only track you if you do certain things which are hard to avoid doing, like moving around during the day...?
