Weekly Game Update thread

Formal ball turned into free for all blitz when fairies attack. My character ended up getting mind controlled and shooting a bunch of important ladies. Party necromancer is up to no good.

Though with any luck, I'll be leading the ranger and the NPC we're escorting into the mountains this week. I just hope the frost trolls don't get mad at us. I'm a possible intermediary, but... the spell lists that the shaman have are really nasty.

Got into shady dealing with a rogue Illithid.
Paladin did blood sacrifices.
Monk dropped bars.
The warlock watched awkwardly.

Game 1: Wrapped up a 30 to 1 brawl against rebels. The women and children fled to the forest, currently looting the town, setting traps and preparing to get some needed rest.
Game 2: Argued about plans a whole lot, but then we found out just how neck deep we are in the shit, split the team, one member infiltrated, another fireteam is behind door one, the other (me) taking the upper balcony for sniper positions.
What party leader doesn't know is that after we mop up the balcony, I am leaping off the goddamn balcony and hauling ass right to the center of the room to introduce my sword to the traitorous fuckwad's face. Repeatedly.
Yes, I'm outnumbered.
Yes, the 5 best close combat warriors we have seen (other than me) surround him. Fuck him. Fuck him with a cactus, AND I'M THE ENTIRE DESERT. The group for some reason continues to underestimate my penchant for insanity.

We've got these couple amulets with demonic origins, the witch doctor put them to a box with some holy water and they're steaming and bubbling in there. So we're headed off east to the mountains where they came from to find out more of it.

We met some goblins and an orog attacking a giant, chose to help the giant out, heard that he was the one who started the fight in the first place then helped him bring some of the dead goblins to his cave where his wife could cook them. He told us a bit of the evil amulets.

Then we stopped by a mountain village for the night, and headed off south to look into a trade caravan that was supposed to have come through this pass yesterday. Found some ogres bullying a survivor, the witch doctor scared them away, then we healed the guy and heard from him how some scary demon-things ambushed them.

We headed higher up to the mountains and found their cave, with a head on a spike outside. The head asked for a password, we gave the wrong one, so it screamed so horribly half the party got frightened. End session.

Next time: go into the cave to look for some demons even though the party is really spooked.

It was sort of a morally grey situation. We had very little to go for on whom to help (if anyone), and apparently made the wrong call by coming to the aid of the instigator. But I suppose it's similarly grey in that he too had a family to feed.

I wonder whether the goblins did.

Also he and his wife both had their names carved on stone plates around their necks, because they keep forgetting them.

The party started exploring the underdark dungeon and found some slaves that join the party. Then they found a lake where all the kuo toa lived and almost died. Un fact ALL the slaves died as cannon bait. They encoounter a giant Spider and scape from It too. The session finished with them killing (but almost dying) a hook horror that one party member set free to fight some kuo toas. Next session if they enter the right Doors they will find a mind flyer (they are all lvl 2 except 1 lvl 3). If they find the mindflyer and are not stupid enough to try ti fight him that shall end in they having to make some interesting decitions. This can end with them becoming evil servants of a huge mindflyer empire (that is actually run by a beholder Lich), going back to the surface with a lot of information about this empire, going to a city in the underdark and maybe making Friends with some drows to fight this Evil or being anhilated by the Illithid o>>53008254

we unknowly broke into frikking fomorians party (beings that are more powerful than gods). One of us fucked the fomorian Queen under mindcontrol while 3 of us fought a fomorian that was just playing with us. I almost land a hit on the guy but needed atvleast 2 sucesses more. When the fomorian got bored he almost killed me and killed the "that guy" of the party. Before dying "that guy" totally saved me and gave us the last piece of the puzzle we needed to advance in our mission. He lived like "that guy" and died like a Hero, but after that we voted not bringing him back to life because gods dont like that shit.
